-Shadow Haunters- (test) (Canyon)
From steep cliffs to jagged walking paths, the shadows of Fallen Ember and her father coasted effortlessly over the harsh train with little more than a few beats of their wings and the helpful lift of warm air currents. Unlike their terrestrial counterparts, the pair were covering substantial ground in their search for eggs, with Ember leading the charge as they made their way into the heart of the rocky landscape.
"See anything yet?" Cedar called out, his voice sharp and loud to cover the rush of air they were cruising through. Though he glanced once to his daughter, the eagle's eyes turned again to the ground below them, searching for any sign of unguarded nest that they might be able to raid.
Cinnamon-brown wings beat twice, lifting Fallen Ember a few feet upwards so that she was coasting level with her darker-feather sire once more. With a wingspan almost a foot broader than his own, the harpy-hybrid was careful not to get too close, lest she disturb the elder eagle's flight, "Nothing of interest yet. Lets get a little closer to the cliffs, though - there's got to be something around here."
