Some distance from the delta of Requiem's River is the craggy island known as Tears of Dew Isle. The northern and western portions of the island are almost always shrouded in dense fog, covering the rocks and surrounding foliage in droplets of dew that lent to the unique land's name. The heavy mist persists even in winter, where a series of active thermal vents spew steam into the frigid winter air, and creates a pocket of warmth that comes in striking contrast to the otherwise cold, windswept areas to the south and east areas of the island.
