The Aviary is a very large, domed building with a smaller, steel-framed building connected at one end. The doom is sectioned off into two different areas. One contains a rainforest environment, while the other is a temperate forest environment. Dozens of rarer, compatible species are kept in the dome, where they can fly freely around. There are walkways on the ground and some suspended higher up in the canopy so visitors can view the birds. The two different forests areas are separated by a tinted glass barrier, reinforced with cushioning so the birds don't fly into it and hurt themselves. Predator birds are kept in separate sections of the smaller building. Each group of raptors has an authentic reconstruction of their natural environment for their enclosure, and ample space to fly. Thick mesh netting separates the raptors from the visitors on the walkways.
