The gorilla enclosure is in the form of a giant domed building that is filled with real tropical plants and a small waterfall and stream, which is kept running by a powerful pump built into the wall. A glass-covered walkway winds through part of the habitat, offering visitors a chance to safely view the gorillas close up. The thick vegetation offers the apes plenty of hiding spots too, in case they aren't wanting to be viewed by the humans. Plenty of enrichment activities are given to the gorillas everyday, and handlers work with them often.
