Blood Gulch Ranch is owned by Arisha and Akulina Kalashnikova. Here they breed and show horses, cows and dogs. Boarding is also allowed, for both horses and dogs. The ranch sits on a reasonably large plot of land at the base of the Ochotona Mountains. Its namesake comes from the blood-red, toxic algae-filled Sanguine Lake on the other side of the mountains. A few layers of thick fence block the bath from the ranch to the lake. A filtration system is set up for the very important creek that runs through the property, in the event that it becomes contaminated by the lake. There are several stables and kennels on the property, as well as fenced paddocks for the horses and cows (separated, of course) and spacious fenced runs for the dogs.
