PHEDORA

Phedora stepped into the sunlight, her toes finding grass that remained green and untouched by the frozen cold that seemed to envelope Sparkling Creek Valley.

Her bright color streaked and shimmered under the glittery light of the sun, her back arched as she threw herself forward and burst into a full powered gallop, her knees bending gracefully, her feet and heart pounding as they met each others rhythm.

She ran until she grew tired of it, finding trees to weave in and out of, paths to follow and abandon. Eventually she found her way back to the center of the Valley’s large meadow — seeking the oldest lonely willow in the very middle. There she let her stomach gorge on grasses she had not seen since she arrived in SCV.
