Nestled back into the foothills of the Croal Mountains, the Temple of the Haunted overlooks the majority of the Ruins that lay scattered before it. A single entrance can be found at the base of the Temple, which leads into the heart of the structure. From there, a large central chamber can be found, which leads to several smaller rooms, each lighted by small windows positioned high around the outer walls; windows too small for anything larger than the average bird to fit through. Beyond the central chamber lies a second, smaller room with a set of spiraling stone stairs. These lead to the second floor, made mainly of smaller rooms and a few platforms that serve well as sentry posts. On the other end of the main chamber is another room with another set of spiraling stairs, although these ones lead to a basement. The basement is vast and open, save for some crumbled stones and old bones. At the far end lies a room stacked full of clay and stone jugs, made for holding and aging wine. The basement area has scant lighting, but during the day, enough filters down for the keen night-eyes of wolves. This area belongs to the Shadow Haunters.
