These are the Croal Mountains. They are pretty dangerous for pups, or for those who are old or weak. It is fairly cold here, but you can be relatively safe from humans in this area. There are some rabbits and big horn sheep here.

The northern portion of this mountain range is divided from the Ochotona Mountains by the Canyon. These mountains are higher and more rugged than the Ochotona's, but not so rugged as the White River Mountain Range. Sparkling Creek originates from the southern end of the mountain from snow melt and several cold springs. This range is also home to the Breve Ridges and the Ruins, both of which lay within deep ridges along the edge of the mountains. The Croal range is divided from the White River range by the White River. This range also makes up a vast majority of the valley's western border.
