Once a thickly vegetated bog filled with diverse plant and animal life, this stretch of land has since fallen rapidly into decay. The majority of plant life has withered and died off, with most trees now leafless and barren, while the ground is littered with the skeletal remains of animals that have perished in this toxic environment. The only thing that seems to thrive here are mushrooms, feeding off the rot and giving the area distinctly musty odor.
