General
- Turbatio Void is a game where you are allowed to play characters from any type of media (books, games, movies, tv shows, comics, ect).

- You are also allowed to create your own unique character, whether it be an average human or animal, or some crazy alien/monster you've imagined up. OCs are encouraged!

- Turbatio Void is set on earth, in reality as we know it (or knew it). Aside from the addition of magic and other supernatural happenings and otherworldly technologies, standard physics still apply, and everything should be kept as 'realistic' as possible. As such, 'cartoon' characters and the like will be rendered into a realistic appearance and follow basic physics upon going through the Void.

- There are no requirements for post lengths. We only ask that you use proper grammar, and be respectful of other members.

- There are no rules regarding fighting, challenging, ect between characters. All IC interactions are done through role playing. As far as reproduction goes between characters, players are welcome to create stats for their own offspring, or can ask for someone else to make stats for them, if they want it done randomly.

- We welcome you to play regular NPC characters as well, and are always in need of random citizens, scientists, and folks who work for the various organizations.

- Everything is allowed with the exception of adult content.

- Exceptionally strong characters *may* have limitations applied to them, depending on their abilities. This is to prevent serious gaps in power, and keep one player from single-handedly dominating/destroying the other factions. This applies to Canon and non-Canon characters alike.

- Turbatio Void is largely a sandbox game, so while there are site-wide events and greater structure around the four main cities and the threads that take place there, players are free to take their characters 'elsewhere' or even to other 'universes' and play as they please. Do you want to establish a city/planet/ect of your own where you plan to thread frequently? Leave a message on the Updates or OOC board and we'll be happy to accommodate you!

Canon Characters

- The term Canon applies to any pre-created character within a universe. Non-Canon refers to a character that you created. An example - Legolas would be a Canon character from Lord of the Rings, while a random elf that you created would be non-Canon. Duplicates of the same Canon characters can be played, with each duplicate coming from a different universe than the others.
