*Humans*

A group of four humans eneterd the building, heading right to the quarintine area of the facility. The usual lady vet was not here, focused on other buisness. So instead one of the males, slightly rougher but certainly the same bit expirienced worked on the animal. The other three stood guard, for an alarm had been raised for wild wolves near here. But instead of the usual bullet guns, they all held dart guns, the dose in each much more then need be. It would knock them out quickly, but if an antidote were not to be administered soon enough, the wolf would suffer from an overdose. This was the best they could do without killing the animals, for they needed them for study and were here to prove wolves were not all out to kill humans.

The single man who was working on Atticus first administered a tracking chip under the ruff, rubbing the skin before going on with other measurements. After about 10 minutes or so he had all he needed, and carefully he lifted the creature into a nearby cage which already contained a bowl of dried dog food, red meat scattered about inside, and a bwol of water. With a sigh the human took injected the wolf with the reversal drug, and quickly he locked the cage. The metal was too strong for wolven jaws to break, as was the lock. Even bears would have trouble with the strength of the metal used. Finally he stood, moving away and motioning for the other men to leave the room as well. The wolf would soon wake up, and as much as they wanted to wait, they had other duties here to attend to.

Atticus

When Atticus awoke, his mind was fresh with the thought of humans and vengence. He still couldn't figure out just what had happened, for this was his first direct encounter with sedatives, and humans for that matter. After the grogginess wore off, Atticus at once set himself to the metal bars the confined him. His was large and powerful, taking after his alpha parents. But try as he might, the cage repelled even his hardest bites, and then some. Before long, his mouth was bloodied from breaking skin in attempt to escape. He even managed to chip one of his molars, which only went to make the male all the more angry.

Atticus finally backed off from the bars, panting and rumbling an ominous threat to everyone and everything around him. Aggressiveness was a hard streak in him, and right now, it badly clouded his judgement. His jaws throbbed, and blood-stained saliva dripped slowly down, giving his wild look an even scarier touch. The hybrid probably wasn't the best canidate to study for his species's sake, but he'd surely make things interesting around here.

*Dog*

The office dog entered the room, his orbs narrow as he glared at the wolf. This time he had reason to be rude to the wolf in the cage. Or at least he felt he did. With all the humans rushing about, he could smell the panic, meaning only one thing to him, wolves were attacking.

His eyes fell to the blood on his gums and in his saliva, and he shook his had. "Stupid wolf. You can't escape these cages."

Atticus

Atticus bristled instantly, rushing to the front of the cage and pressing his muzzle hard against it, "I'll find a way, you wait and see!" His golden eyes narrowed at the dog as he lifted his tail high, "You're lucky these bars separate us... or your two-leggers would find their their little slave torn to shreds!" The hybrid flexed his jaws, feeling the raw, throbbing pain pulse through. Now he regretted his actions, though he had to let his anger out somehow.

*Dog*

The dog just stuck his nose in the air, lifting his tail in a disrespectful manor. "Well well. I've seen stronger wolves then you fall to my masters. If you wish to try you to will be shot with their new weapons. And I will laugh when your right back here." He was cocky for a small dog, but he hated wolves, simple as that. He had witnessed the drama just outside of the sound proof door, humans rushing about trying to keep the wolves in check. They had to renovate the enclosure, a difficult task with all the wolves present.

Atticus

"Yeah, you wish." Atticus shot back, glaring intently at the dog. "No weapon of theirs can stop me for long." He had yet to learn of the power of bullets, cars, and all the other horrors that the two-leggers had invented. That, and he never liked to admit weakness. "If they wish to turn me into some sort of pet, they've got another thing coming..." He growled ominously, mistaking his reason for being captured.

*Dog*

The wolf's words fell upon deafears, well forthe most part. It was the last sounds that caughthis attention, and caused a rather annoying laughter to begin. "A pet? Is that your worry wolf. My humans have no want for you asa pet."

Atticus

His mind churned at this information, trying to recall every bit of information that he had learned about humans. For a moment he was silent, and brooding as he stared at the dog. He didn't want to ask the dog for information, for his ego was too big for that. At the same time, he didn't want to sound stupid by implying anything. "They'll be sorry..." He mumbled at last, though knew he was rather helpless in this cage.

*Bark*

A loud bark echoed outside of the building. The voice was of Atticus's Aunt Moon Spirit. She was out the doors and waiting for the humans to open up so that Kekochoi could slip inside.
