Peregrine

Peregrine reached the pool, and dips his maw down to get a quick drink. Then he took off to find his way back to his pack. He went a long ways before he found a wall. The wolf followed that wall until it curved and headed in the direction of the feeding gate. Not wanting to go that way, the alpha turned back. He followed the fence the other way, but found that it eventually curved back around towards the human fence as well! It was a giant trap! Peregrine returned to the pond and lay down. He didn't want to howl, because there may be a hostile pack nearby that would attack him.

After some time, Peregrine is befret at loosing his mate and pups and his home. He doesn't care if there is a pack nearby now, so Peregrine throws back his head and emits a heartbreaking howl directed to his packlands.
