Nokura

Nokura was 6 years old now and her pups were 3 years. She was going into season as well and padded around the enclosure both remarking the boundery and scenting it for her mate to find her.

Her blind pup followed her.

Kate, Justin, & Springtail

The current pack would be well use to the sound of an engine that could be heard approaching the Feeding Gate. Justin and Kate, two of the center's primary caretakers, were just arriving with a special delivery today - a new member for their captive wolf pack. They drove their truck towards the entrance and moved to the back to haul a large crate up out of the vehicle, which they then carted towards the gate.

The crate was brought inside the enclosure, where Kate lifted the lid and took a step back. Justin remained near the Feeding Gate, to open it quickly if he and Kate should need to make a quick escape, though they had never had trouble with these wolves before. Yet they had to be cautious... they didn't know how the lead female would take a new wolf in her territory, or how her grown offspring would react either.

The wolf inside the crate did not simple stroll out once the door was opened. In fact, she sat there, crouched down and peered out of the various holes in the crate, startled and rightfully frightened when her nose told her she was in someone else's territory.

Nokura

Nokura was steely grey, her lower jaw, her muzzle and uplong her cheek was white, A lighter grey almost silvery color ringed her eyes which were almond and her front paws were white. She heard the engin and looked out and watch it pull up to the gate. she picked up the speed now as a crate was moved in. Her fur bristled and her tail was above her back as she approached the gate and crate. She ignored the humans for the most part and sniffed the crate then made to stick her head in the crate.

Sasita who was albino and blind came over but left the crate to her mother as she sniffed out the humans. He tail low as she sniffed at them. She couldn't see them and she couldn't heare much out of her right ear but other then that she was healthy.

Bright Tooth heard the commotion and came bolting out of the forested half of the enclosure his tail above his back. He was knife grey with black here and there and Yellow eyes. He ignored the humans and sniffed around the crate.

Sprintail, Kate, & Justin

The eyes that peered back at Nokura from the darkness of the crate were a yellow color with a darker, orange tinge at the edges. "You.. m-must be the alpha here?" Springtail murmured with her best attempt to sound brave and assured, but the fear was easy to hear. "The humans brought me here, I certainly didn't mean to invade." The young female went on, staying crouched in the back of the crate.

Her ears turned, hearing two other wolves approaching the crate. She couldn't see much past Nokura, but her nose told her these were son and daughter of the alphess. And they were a bit older than her, as she was just shy of two years of age.

Nokura

Nokura sniffed at her and when she felt the other wasn't trying to invade she backed out her tail still above her body.yes im the alpha and I know that. I am nokura, This is Bright tooth and Sasita She spoke.

Sasita finally came over to her mom and her tail wagged even though she couldn't see the new commer.what you look like?She spoke.

Bright tooth slightly growled at the female but nothing more.

Springtail, Kate, & Justin

One could almost hear the low sigh that Springtail gave, expressing her quiet relief that Nokura wasn't going to attack her for invading. Kate and Justin were also relieved, since they didn't know how the alpha female would react, but by the looks of it, she was giving the new wolf a chance.

Springtail crept out of the crate with her tail appropriately tucked between her legs, and her head low. "I'm Springtail." Springtail's voice gained a little courage, and if it wasn't tucked, it might have wagged a little when Sasita spoke. "Um... well, I've got a dark gray coat." The female started off, quickly realizing that Sasita must be blind, judging by her oddly colored eyes. "The tops of my ears are black, and my eyes are yellow." And that pretty well described her - Springtail was a lead-gray color all over, except the tips of her ears were black, and she had a streak of black running partially around each eye.

Springtail glanced at Bright Tooth, then quickly averted her eyes. She wasn't sure what that growl meant, but she figured it was safest to stay away from him now, until he got use to her.

Nokura

Nokura snapped at Tooth and then focused back on the Female. Her fur slowly lowering. Her tail slightly wagging now. welcome to the pack, Don't worry about the humans, we get free meals and don't have to worry about starvingShe spoke calmly.We live here like were meant to. im the only one that is allowed to breedShe spoke.

Bright tooth yelped and back off going and sniffing at Kate.

Sasita listened.im albinoshe spoke.

Springtail, Kate, & Justin

The more that Nokura relaxed, the more Springtail did. The snap at Tooth to chastise him also made Spring feel a little better, knowing that Nokura wasn't going to let her be harried too much by the others; or at least, that what she hoped. "Thank you Nokura. Oh, of course, of course." To the breeding rule, the young female hastily let it be known that she didn't intend to breed. Nokura was nice enough to accept her into the pack, so Spring was going to do all she could to obey the alphess and get along with everyone.

"Is that why your eyes are that color? And your nose is pink?" Curiosity took the wolf's attention back to Sasita, and finally she gave her tail a small wag after letting it hang loose behind her.

"Well hello there big guy. Not sure what to think about your new friend there, huh?" Kate knelt down on one knee and let Bright Tooth inspect her. She was fond of all the wolves here, and was always monitoring them and their interactions with one another, doing it partly for research, and partly because she enjoyed seeing how the pack worked together.

Sasita

Sasita nodded. Yes im blind too She spoke and hen moved to kate and nudged her brother away and sniffed at her herself. Her tail wagging.

Nokura yawned and got up and moved around now.

Tooth growled at his sister but moved to the other human.

Springtail, Kate, & Justin

When Nokura and Sasita left, Springtail stood up a little straighter and watched them, but didn't have the courage to approach the two humans. She might have been captive raised, but these were strange humans, and since she was in a strange new place and lacking confidence, she wasn't in the mood to approaching the two-leggers right now.

"And how are you doing, girl?" Kate's smile broadened and she put her hand out near Sasita's nose where she could sniff over it. "Enjoying your new playmate?" After giving the albino wolf time to smell her, Kate reached over to scrub at the side of Sasita's ruff.

Justin stooped down next to be at Tooth's level, "Too many girls in here for you, eh?" He chuckled at that, having noticed the wolf's irritability as well.
