Ivailo

The crate being carried on the back of the truck held the unconcious wolf. The truck came to a stop and two men got out and walked around to the bed of the truck. They lifted the crate out, checking to see if the animal was awake. He was beginning to stir, so they had to hurry.

They went through the feeding gate and set the crate down. The wolf inside woke. He looked through the slats to see woods all around. It seemed as the he were being freed. Behind him was a gate, and humans were opening the door of his crate. As soon as it was open, he burst through and streaked off through the woods. Behind him, the men chuckled.

He ran and ran, hoping to leave people behind forever. Suddenly, a five foot high concrete wall loomed in front of him. The wolf skidded to a stop, and panted as he studied it. On top of the concrete was a chain-link fence with barbed wire on top. There was no way he could scale that. He sat down and looked both directions. The fence went on into the forest. The wolf snarled in frustration. He was still trapped.

Getting up, he trotted through the forest, sniffing. He found where he had crashed through earlier, and smelled his way back to the gate. The men and truck were gone. He searched the area where had been released and found traces of another wolf. He lifted his head and let out one howl. The howl challenged the other wolf, telling it to come and face him.

The big black wolf's name was Ivailo. He had been caught as a six month old pup to be used in the fighting pits. Crisscrossing down his neck and shoulders were various gray streaks, the reminders of the fights he had won. His amber eyes studied the enclosure. From his roaming, he figured it to be pretty large, and like a giant trapezoid, with the shorter base down here at the feeding gate and viewing area. He sighed and waited for a returning howl.

Nokura

Nokura was the alpha female of this land. So even though the males voice was challenging she had no reason to fighth im. Now if her mate was still around then her mate would be the one to have to take up the challenge. Though she did approach the male with her tail in the alpha position. She growled lowly in warning.Greetings male i am Nokura Alpha female of this land. if your seeking to challenge my mate then you'll have to wait for him to wake up.She spoke.

Sasita who was blind followed her mother. she sniffed around.

Big Tooth also followed he growled a little but stayed by his mother. They were both now 4 years old.

Ivailo

Ivailo stood at the sound of the other canines' approach. He imediately noticed the position of the female in the lead. She was alpha. He studied the other two, who seemed younger than she. There was something strange about the one closest to the female. She had a curious way of moving. Then he realized it was because she couldn't see. She stared straight ahead, all the while sniffing around, as if trying to place where she was. Hmmm.

The black male straightened up and answered the alpha, who said her name was Nokura. He positioned his tale so that it was submissive to her, but not entirely. He still carried himself with pride. "I am Ivailo. And no, I am not seeking your mate. I do not wish to waste any blood. But I do have a few questions. Firstly, what is this place? Why have I been brought here? And why is your daughter blind?" He continued to study the other wolves.

Nokura

Nokura relaxed when his tail slightly lowered and he spoke. This place is a place where humans watch and observe our kind or so it seems. Most humans here are nice and you grow use to them. They even seem to understand our heiracy even though they can't speak. They interact with us if I allow itShe spoke first then looked to her daughter. She was born that way her name is Sasita and this is my son Big Tooth, He is one of the most promising for the future of this pack. I have two others sterling and dragon who are off with their fatherSHe sspoke sitting down.

Ivailo

Ivailo grunted, contemplating this. So the humans want tounderstandus? They watch us to learn about pack hierarchy, but what for? He nodded and studied the blind wolf. She was fascinating to him. How did she survive without seeing?
