Tola/Tuka

Four humans carried in two crates, each containing a wolf. Tola and Tuka were their names. The male, Tuka, snapped at the human's hand. The female, Tola, Tuka's sister, carried a deadly disease, one which the humans had no knowledge of.

They opened the small door, then opened the crates and released the wolves into the enclosure. Tuka turned on the humans and bit the gloved hand of one of them. "Leave it be, Tuka." Said his sister. She sat down on the ground, while Tuka paced by the fence.

Robin//Whisper//Hunter//bane//Prince

The beta black female yawned and stretched. She spotted the humans close, too close to her. She snarled, bristling her fur menacingly, eyes glinting dangerously as they glared at the humans at first.

Whisper shook her fur, exiting the den where she had been asleep. Black and Brown pelt shimmered from her thick coat. She spotted the wolves and did not do anything, knowing she was in no place to encounter them. Although Robin's daughter, she and her two brothers, Bane and Prince, thought they were Naruka's. Only hunter was kept by Robin, if only by mercy.

Hunter lay by her mother when she heard the noises. She stood up uneasily, bristling and menacing like her mother, although unsure why. She was brown, with black paws and tail, with white neck, underelly and muzzle. She had kept her puppy blue eyes, unlike her family.

Bane was all black, with white paws, tail, ears and underbelly. He sat, watching them carefully.

And Prince was all black with a white star. He flicked his ear, wandering around the pen boredly.

Naruka

Naruka heard the commotion and exited her den.Tail above back.She glanced to her pups then to robin and her pup.then she procedded forth to the new comers.Her tail up and head held high."Greetings. I am Naruka Alphess of these lands who may you be? and be wise and submitt"She said standing only a few feet away from them.She glanced at he humans but nothing more.

Robin

Robin still bared her fangs, but she ceased to a growl, her eyes never leaving the demonlike humans.

Hunter stopped as Naruka came, lowering her tail in submission for a second then watching the wolves.

Tola/Tuka

Tuka approached Naruka and spoke softly. "I am Tuka, and my sister is Tola." He said, wondering whether he should tell the alpha about Tola's illness. He figured that he should, so they would know to stay away from her. "But here's the thing. My sister is sick. Very sick. The humans don't know yet, and I'm afraid that if they ever find out, they'll kill her. I think it's contagious, but I haven't caught it yet. My parents were both inbred, and they were both brother and sister, so it may be genetic." He said, worried that the wolves would kill her for this.

Tola coughed, then collapsed on the ground.

"Tola!" Cried Tuka, then rushed to her aid.

Robin

Robin growled until the humans passed out of sight. Once they did, the wolfess relaxed, but her tail was still held high yet she wasn't growling. As she heard his speech, he looked at the wolfess carefully. She picked her way over and stood a step or so away. "If it is true what you say about it is possible for contamination you should try to keep her from the others..." She commented, looking at Naruka for approval for that before continuing. "Any idea what caused her illness? And the major problems?" The beta asked cautiously, her tail lowered to Naruka to prove she wasn't trying to take over. She lowered herself lightly, putting a paw forward and watching the fallen Tola.

Naruka

Naruka did not want a sick wolf in her land."well then keep her away from the pack and close to where those humans can get to her they won't kill her if they can safe her........"She stalled."Believe me I know.. I almost died and they saved me but if any of use catch it then i will kill you both because that is a threat to my pack im sorry."She said and watched the two.She then turned around."if you catch it you best stay clear away from the pack and I and when we are fed i eat first and then the pups and then robin then you two"She said and turned to go back ot the othres."Robin keep the young ones aawy from the new fem and stay away your self"She said warning her but not telling her why.

Tola/Tuka

Tuka licked Tola's face and nudged her, and she finally woke up.

Tuka looked at Robin. "I believe the reason she has it is from inbreeding. My parents were inbred, and their parents were and so on. And my parents were brother and sister, too. So it must be related to that." He looked at Naruka. "The problem is that I may carry it too. I'm afraid the only known way to kill the disease is to kill us. Or if we were forced to breed with other wolves not related to us in any way, that may, over time, cure the disease. But as I said before, the only way we know of to completely eradicate it is to kill us." He looked at Tola as if to say "I'm sorry."

Tola stood up. "That's crazy! We can be cured! They don't have to kill us!" She exclaimed, breathing in an odd way.

Robin

Robin looked back at Naruka and nodded, backing away from the collapsed fem. She gathered her pups and spoke. "The new wolfess is sick. Stay away from her at all costs." Robin explained. She nudged them away and the black fem turned back, padding over near naruka and lowering her head, body lowered slightly in Submission.

Naruka

She growled lightly.She turned around."There is no reason for you to be killed right now but those humans still better look at you to see how it is transmitted and if its curable because i will not have you guys infecting me or my pack!"She snarled.She howled knowing that most of the time it braught the humans back.

Tola/Tuka

Tola sat down, looking as if she were about to cry. "I shouldn't be punished just because I'm not like the others." She said quietly.

Tuka walked up to Naruka. "If you're so worried that we'll kill your pack, why don't you just kill us now?" He asked.

Naruka

She growled."I don't believe in taking lives."She growled and snapped at him."plus i don't want to risk the fact that one or both of you have it and then by touching you i contract it"She snarled baring her fangs in wanring.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tola went into a corner of the enclosure and gave birth to three pups. A male, a female, and a stillborn pup. After a while, she carried them back to Tuka. "The male is Solo and the female is Kria." She said happily. She carried them back to the corner to protect them from the alpha.

Tuka snapped at Naruka, but then walked to the corner of the enclosure with his sister/mate.

Naruka

Now naruka was mad because they bred and now there were pups which needed to be killed."How dare you have pups!"She snarled she didn't care if it wasn't here they bred."Now you just cursed those two to die! along with you and your pathetic sister"Now her mothers personality showed and she ran straight for them.She knew she would have to kill the male first.Her tail was curled over her back.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

"It wasn't our choice to be diseased! It wasn't our choice to be brought here and ruled over by miss bossy pants!" Snapped Tuka. He bared his fangs and charged Naruka at the same time she charged him.

"Tuka no!" Exclaimed Tola. "Please let him go! He didn't mean to come here. We were caught and brought here! It wasn't our choice!"

Solo and Kria watched wide-eyed.

Naruka and Roja

She snarled madly and lept for his throat.Her tail high.

Roja another caught female who had her pups taken away before she was put out finally presented herself."That doesn't matter. My pups were taken by the humans before i came out here so doesn't that stink for you. Then just let her kill the pups that way you two can live or kill them yourselves and don't think about breeding again.Most of us came from the wild except naruka.She was born here and all her siblings died!"She snarled and lowered her postion as she now approached the fem to either kill the pups her self.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tuka barely dodged Naruka's attack by lowering his head. His snout was bleeding badly. This was the first time he wanted the humans to come and settle things. He snarled and ran to the other side of the enclosure, trying to lead Naruka away from his sister and pups. "Come get me, you drooling lump of flea-covered toxic waste!" He cried.

Tola stared at Roja. "Are you a human? Are you my mom or dad or brother? Are you God? I didn't think so. That means I don't have to listen to you." She said softly, getting between her pups and the other.

Naruka

Naruka just watched him and then turned to the mother."no she isn't but it is the way of pack life now step out of the way and your life will be spared!"She snarled lowering her fram.One ear back to keep her hearing on the male.

roja growled lightly.She too lowered her head and crept closer.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tola cried. "Why did we have to be brought here! Why do you have to pester us! Unless you consume our blood, you can't catch this disease I am forced to live with!"

Tuka ran back and stood by Tola's side. "Hehe. Yeah. You bit me, too. I may carry the disease, so you may have it now. Good luck!" He teased and walked away with Tola and the pups, still close enough to be in sight of Naruka.

Naruka

"I don't care that is not the reason fool only the alpha is permitted to have pups.If that is the reason then i shall take your pups as mine and you shall not have any contact with them."She followed them."Take it or kill them"She growled.

Roja she too followed.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

"HAHAHA!" Laughed Tuka. "If you want to kill my pups, what do you care who has them?! Now stay away from us, you tick infested compost pile!" He was rather new to the insulting business, as anyone could see.

"It wasn't our choice to live here, so therefore, you're not in charge of us!" Snapped Tola.

"Yeah. Now leave us alone!" Said Kria weakly.

Naruka

Naruka she snarled."too bad for you this is my land! So if you want the pups to live then hand them over or kill them or ill me and my whole pack will slaughter all of you now.."She snarled now closing htem into a corner.

Roja:She followed suit.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tuka stopped and looked at Tola. "What do you think?" He asked.

"I would rip out my own intestines before giving up my pups!" Tola snapped. She looked at Naruka. "Bring it on, wimp!"

Naruka

She growled lihgtly.She lifted her muzzle to the sky.She called to Robin and the pups to come and help and then she lunged for which ever one was closer.

Roja she too lunged and went for the opposite.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tuka was the closest, so he was the one who was under attack by Naruka. Naruka was lucky enough to get a hold of one of his hind legs. He yelped and fell to the ground.

Tola heard Roja soon enough to evade her attack, but just barely. She didn't like to fight, but she bared her teeth anyways, ready to defend her pups.

Robin

Bane heard his mother's call and leapt to her aid, he fangs going for the male's front leg.

Prince followed behind his brother, jumping in to slash at the open stomach.

Whisper was small but shefelt she could fight. She bounded over to help Roja and snarled, biting at the fem's muzzle.

Hunter didn't think twice, she went to the aid of battle to Tola.

Robin padded over ready to fight, stopping a way off. She looked at Naruka and a whine actually escaped her throat, tail curled under her. She could only remember the day she was taken here with her own pups and the old alphess and Naruka had attacked her, stealing all her pups fbut Hunter. Robin didnt want that hapepning all over again with her to watch.

Naruka and Roja

Naruka growled lightlykeeping hold she glared at robin threating her with just a gaze.She then shook her head too and fro.

Roja:She grined as the pup helped her and then she finally lunged again.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tuka fell to the ground when the wolves attacked him. He was trying hard to get back up, but the others were too strong.

Tola evaded most of the attacks except Roja's. Her chest was cut by the wolf's fangs. She looked into Robin's eyes and saw the same pain she was feeling now. She watched Hunter and howled happily to her, as a way of thanking her for helping.

Robin

Bane snarled and lunged for Tuka's back.

Hunter wasn't so ferocious with her attacks on any wolf once she saw Robin, for now in her battle she felt neutral. If this was what happened to her mother, then she wasnt one to want to cause any of this.

Prince lunged for the brute's muzzle fangs ready to graze.

Whisper snapped at anything she could reach.

Robin whined to Naruka and trotted to her, lungin to Anywhere on the male, her attacks not as fierce as she could, being an ex-pitfighter.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tola whined at the same time Robin did and said. "Okay! You can have the pups if you don't kill them! You have to promise me you won't hurt them!" Exclaimed Tola.

Tuka was weak, and all the attacks hit him. He fell to the ground, but he didn't give up. He struggled to get free.

The pups whined. They didn't know what the fuss was about, but they knew that Naruka seemed like a pretty mean wolf.

Naruka

"I don't need to promis you anything."She snarled."But i won't hurt them. Robin you better start doing as told and the same goes for your daughter"She snarled and then moved over and plucked up two of the three pups and carried them to the den.

Roja she left her opponent and went and pllucked up the last one.

Robin

The sons backed off and went about their business of a tug o' war game.

Whisper watched Naruka and went to groom her fur.

Robin watched Naruka, her ears back, tail tucked and curled around her side, and body lowered in a submissive stance as the alphess snapped at her. She raised herself and let her tail go back limp, but her ears stayed back. She looked over at the den and whined quietly, not recognizing she had.

Hunter trotted over and licked her mother's muzzle, then trotted off and sat by the fence, watching the world.

Robin wagged her tail at Hunter and padded away, curling up in as tight and small a ball as she could.

Tola/Tuka/Solo/Kria

Tola rushed to the aid of her brother. He was badly injured almost everywhere, and he may die. "Help!" She howled, "Somebody help me!" She looked at Robin. She seemed like a nice enough wolf, as far as being helpful goes.

Tuka was barely breathing. "Hey, Tola. What are they doing now?" He asked.

"They took the pups away." Replied Tola. She looked around, to see if any humans were watching. Maybe they could help.

Naruka

Naruka oddly enough started to produce milk for the pups.Even though she had never had any herself.She yawned and groomed them.

Roja:She moved away tail tucked under her.

Robin

Robin turned her head at Tola's cry for help. She didn't want trouble in the pack. She looked over to Naruka, a way of asking if she could. Packs do that. She turned her head to the wolf, advanced a step, then looked back at Naruka. She was unsure.

Naruka

She watched robin and growled alittle but not completly.

Tola/Tuka

Tola didn't like to live by the rules of normal wolf packs. She lived by the rules of her former pack, and those rules were basically 'Do what you want, but don't kill the pack members, even if you're the alpha.' They didn't care if the inferior wolves bred. They only cared about their survival, and they cared for their other pack members. "Please, help us! Do you want him to die?!" Tola said angrily. She was worried for her friend's life.

Tuka was in great pain. They never should have gone near those humans who ripped them from the only family they had and brought them here to be picked off by the cruel wolves.

Robin

Robin's fighter side kept saying leave him. Naruka was encouraging her and she walked away a few paces. The wolfess ignored the alphess's growl, and padded back to Tuka. You have to stick together. She sniffed over the broken body and her ears drew back.
"The humans are the best way to go..." She said. "I will not go near them. Their death is my wish, so I may not help you. If you want his life you must call them." With that she would stand by until those bloody humans came.

Tola/Tuka

Tola ran to the doors and howled. She called for the humans. Surely they could help.

Robin

RObin drew herself back, blending with Shadows best we could as the other two went forth for humans. Let the humans die. She looked over at Hunter.

Kate & Ian

The two humans had spotted the tail end of the fight via video monitors in the main builing. Snatching up some needed equiptment, they hurried for the Feeding Gate. As Kate stood by the door, Ian slowly entered. Unlike with most captive wolves, this group hadn't been properly socialized as youngsters, and so he wasn't expecting a happy greeting from most of them.

"Easy now, easy fella's..." The young man said, moving very slowly towards the wolves, heading for the injured. He had a small kit of supplies in one hand, and a long pole in the other. Ian wasn't the kind to beat animals, and instead, would use the pole to hopefully shield himself from any sudden attacks.

Robin

Robin's optics zeroed in on the humans and immediately her tail curled around, ears back, body curved in a sort of arch. She pulled out a row of teeth and her fur bristled angrily. She let out a menacing and warning growl, staying away.

Naruka

Naruka on the other hand enjoyed human company having been raised with these humans.She watched them and barked good they were taking the two or one out thank god.

Tola/Tuka

Tola wagged her tail when the human came in. She didn't particularly like humans since they imprisoned her here, but she only wanted the best for her injured brother.

Tuka whined. He couldn't care less that the humans were coming closer to him. He was almost dead, so he just wanted to be well again.

Tola looked at her pups and whined. According to her own pack life, Naruka had no right to take Solo and Kria.

Kate & Ian

As he knelt down to examine Tuka, it became clear that the wolf was too badly injured to be of any danger to him. At the same time, he needed some desperate medical attention if he were to survive, and then they would have make some serious considerations as to whether they'd put him back with the pack when he was healed.

With a grunt, the young man took Tuka in his arms and staggered to a stand. Moving slowly, he exited the enclosure and headed for the Vet Building.

Tola/Tuka

Tuka whined as the man picked him up, but he didn't struggle.

Tola watched her injured brother. She was afraid that she would never see him again.
