Mayling,Diavolo,Nakura

Two weeks had passed and mayling had never ventured from her den but now she did.She stretched and yawned.The alphess gazed around and then went ot make sure the coast was safe.When she was reasured she called to her four pups.

diavolo:He was the first to come trotting out of his home.He yawned and opened his eyes. Heimmediatly began to venture

Nakura:She was the last out and very shy.

Tia

Tia smiled as she watched from a few yards away. She laid down and watched them, her heart swelling. They were so cute.

May

It was great to be out of the den.She padded over to tia and nuzzled her to make sure that she remembered her by her smell and then sniffed around and then layed close down by her beta.Tia never posed a threat to her surpremecy of alpha and she liked tia."Had a good week?" She said yawning and licking her paws

Diablo:He bounded after his mother quickly and sniffed the otehr fem his tail held high though lower then his mothers as he investigated this fetal

nakura she layed down by the two fetals and watcher her other brother and sister.

Tia

She smiled at May and the two that followed her out. She nodded said,"Yeah, it was quiet. What are their names?" She looked at the pups. They were so cute!

*Humans*

It wasn't long before two humans came out, for they had seen Mayling leave through the cameras near her den. Normally, they would have taken the newborn pups in to raise themselves, in order to safely bond with them. But in this situation, they had decided against it, because it could have an unknown affect on the behaviors they were studying.

Still, they needed to interact with the pups just a bit to get them use to humans, so that maintanance and medical things could be dealt with more safely. The humans had a bucket with them as they came to the gate. They called to the wolves and crouched down, waiting to see who would come forward to greet them; if any would at all.

Mayling

She had come quiet attached to the humans."These two are diavolo and nakura. Im sure the other two will come soon"She said and then ran toward the gate.She sniffed the humans first her tail held high and then she went to the bucket she would allow her pups to interect with the humans if they wanted to oh and it was almost time for the first taste of meat.

Diavolo:The young male pup watched his mother run off and followed her.He came to a halt at the new sight of creatures and a bucket. He lowered his nose to the ground and his tail went up. He sniffed slowly closer to the humans.

Nakura:She was shy and shyed away from the new looking creatures she watched them carefully.

*Humans*

Seeing that all seemed well, the two humans entered the enclosure, letting the two pups get a closer look at them. "Hey there, little ones." The young man said, kneeling down once more so as he didn't look so opposing. He picked up a piece of meat and handed it to Mayling. "Here you are, Malha." 'Malha' had been picked out as a name for Mayling, because it meant 'queen'.

The other person crouched down as well, marveling over the pups. She held her hand out, with a peice of meat in it, towards Diavolo. "You're a brave one, aren't you? You will need a brave name."

Mayling

She sniffed the meat and took it from the person and moved off alittle ways. She chewed theough the meat. She had grown use to this name and accepted it.

Diavalo:He sniffed the meat then looked toward his mother who was eating some of it and then took a nip of it.This was his first time tasting it.

Nakura:She watched her brother and slowly drifted toward the two leggeds her auds back in submission.It was clear that she would be a low ranked female well that is if you understand pack behavior.

*Ian & Kate*

Both were well trained about wolves, and identified the postures of submission from Nakura. Kate first pointed it out, and Ian nodded as he too saw it. They would wright all these behaviors down later, in order to better understand the pack.

Kate grabbed a piece of meat and held it out to Nakura, calling softly to her, "Here, little one. You'll like this."

Ian watched as Diavalo tried his first bite of meat. Grinning, the young man took out two more pieces, holding them out for Mayling and Diavalo. He also kept his eyes out for the other wolves, wondering where they might be.

Mayling

She had finished her first piece and when she saw the second she padded over to take it. She layed down with this one and called to the rest of th pack.

diavolo:he took the piece and layed down near the human.

norakura:SHe moved slowly closer.

Tia

Tia walked up slowly behind mayling, waiting to eat. She licked her chops quietly and watched the pups with joy in her eyes.

*Ian & Kate*

Ian got another piece and tossed it gently towards Tia. "Ah, there you are, Takiyah" He said, using the name that the wolf center staff had choosen. Slowly, he put his hand towards Diavolo, going to pet his head and back. With another piece of meat, he tried to encourage Mayling to come closer, "Here Malha, want another piece?" It was vital that he got these wolves use to human touch, in case an emergency situation arrived where they needed help. Also, they were planning on using some of the wolves to show to the public. But they would have to be calm and able to walk on a leash. Both Ian and Kate kept their eyes alert, trying to figure out which wolves would be best suited for this task.

Kate smiled, holding the meat closer to the ground, "Come on, little one. You know you want this..."

Tia

Tia wagged her tail and picked it up with her mouth. She took it over to the back of the fence, where a tall tree provided shade. She heard a rustle above her. She looked up and saw two racoons looking down at her. She never saw racoons in the day before.

Before she could react, the two jumped down. Tia shied away quickly. They landed with a thump on the ground. Thier mouths were foaming with white stuff. Tia growled at them and started to step close to them, wanting her meat. One of them lunged for her, but she back up. The other one bit her back, hard. She rolled, trying to get it off. Soon the other one bit her neck. Tia rolled again and got them off. She bit one of them on the neck, and they quickly died. Tia was bleeding heavily now. The other one climbed up the fence and hissed at her. Tia collapsed. Surely the humans would have seen it, and it wouldn't be long before rabies started to take over. She breathed slowly.

*Ian & Kate*

Both human shot up, though their movement could frighten the wolves, they didn't think about that at the moment. Rabis was a much more sinister problem at the moment. "KATE! Get out of here, get a gun, and some back up!" Ian yelled.

Hesitating at first, Kate dropped the food bucket and ran for the gate, slipping quickly through it.

Ian glanced with great worry to Tia, knowing she had gotten bitten and almost certainly infected. Having no weapons to speak of, Ian grabbed up a nearby stick and went to the fence. He shouted at the raccoon, waving the stick at it. He was hoping it would bit the moving stick, instead of going for him or any of the other wolves.

Kate returned after a moment with a bag at her side. Slipping back into the enclosure, she approached Tia. She had gloves on now. Working quickly, she tried to slip a muzzle around the wolf's jaws. There was only a short amount of time they had to try and save the wolf from the deadly virus, if she could even be saved.

Tia

Tia gasped for air as she felt something over her face. She whimpered and then shuddered as she felt blood pour out of her body.

She heard a ruckus and turned to see what was going on and immediatly charged the last racoon which now sat on the fence she snarled and then watched tia and stayed close to her but was alittle frightened.

Diavolo:he allowed the man to pat him while he ate the meat.

Nakura:She sniffed it and chewed it slowly.

may

She growled as they got up sudden and bolted she then watched dthem and ran to tia worried about her pack mate.

Diavolo:he went flying away

nakura:she followed suite.

tia

Tia shuddered again and passed out.

*Ian & Kate*

Ian continued to shake the stick at the raccoon, trying to get it down from the fence. He needed to kill it, and quickly. He was glad to see the pups run, but he would have to catch them later and give them all a series of rabies shots, just in case.

Kate quickly scooped up the wolf, straining for a moment with the weight. Then she carried Tia to the Vet Building.

Mayling

She was protective of her pack mates and when the lady picked tia up she snarled and lunged for her. Her auds in alertness.Fangs bared

*Ian*

Ian had kept his senses alert, knowing that these wolves weren't truely 'tame', by any means. He saw when Mayling got protective of Tia, and instantly sprung for her, in return. Having no weapons with him but the stick he picked up, Ian tried to tackle May to the ground before she reached Kate. Kate took this opportunity to slip out of the enclosure unharmed. Now Ian was left alone with the wolves.

May

She attacked the stick that he had and snarled her fangs bared and auds straight foreward.

*Ian*

Ian picked himself up quickly, holding the stick and letting May bite it, "Woah, Malha, it's alright!" He said, his voice carrying obvious fear on it, which was never a good thing. But he was glad that May was biting the stick, and not him!

Mayling

She snarled and continued to attack and tryed to get at him. She wanted her pack mate back where did she go.

Diavolo"He watched in terra

Nokura:she whined.

S.amuri

The Alpha finally arrived, He had been sleeping when the fight suddenly awoke him from his peaceful slumber. The brute instantly got to his feet, well paws. His mate and pups, were they alright? With a growl he chraged towards the battle and he saw the man wrestling with Ian. Humans harming his mate. Bad choice. Samuri sprung for Ian, jaws wide, a low growl rumbling from his chambers. How dare he.

Fetal and Croisuer: The pups shuffled slowly to the opening of the den, they had also been sleeping and hadnt realised their mother had gone. They both whined for her. Where were their family?

*Tara*

The vet whom had brought most of the wolves here had finally returned from a trip to the city where she had reported the findings of her studies. She had reported the behavior that had kept the wolves satisifed and ensured her safty, which for the time being, left the government to rethink the idea of killing the wolves so recklasly.

However as she neared the enclosure she caught site of Kate running with one of the wolves. She had been a more aggressive wolf, but had not harmed her. With an increased sence of worry she quicked her pace towards the door that would let her in, grabbing a deer leg that had been near the door for the next feeding. She entered the enclosure, completly unarmed. She stood right by the door, Whistling to get the attention of both Ian and the wolves. Then with a quick hiss she spoke orders to him. "Let go of the stick and get away!"

Hey order was an obvious one, and her tones ment buisnessness. She had been working on this project for a some time, and did not want the slight trust these wolves had placed in her to be ruined by another human. With her words spoken she threw the leg between her and Samuri, whistling another few times before she let herself fall to her knees. She could not risk ruing the project just yet however if something should happen to Ian she would be forced to call in back up, which would be a last resort.

Mayling

She wouldnt give up she snarled and continued lunging at the man.Her fangs bared and auds agrrsivly forward.

Diavolo:The young pup became more curious and began creeping toward his mother and father.

Nokura:on the other hand lyed down whineing.

S.amuri

Samuri stopped mid-lung when Tara entered the enclosure. She was the one who had submitted and she had brought food. He continued to growl, tail raised and fur bristled but he began to pad towards Tara, eyes locked with hers. As she dropped to her knees Samuri stopped, the growling ceased, but his fangs remained bared. He slowly dipped down his head and his jaws closed around the deer leg. He stood up again, the deer leg in his mouth and with a brief nod action to Tara, Samuri turned and headed back towards the pups. He dropped the meat near them, It was time for them to eat solid food. He began to tear off small pieces, one for each pup before settling himself near them, ready to defend them and May when nessessary .

The two pups shuffled out from the den and headed for their father. Then their attention drifted to Tara and they cautiously began to trot towards her. Their small growls were playful and they wagged their tails, showing they wanted to play.

Samuri just watched He trusted the human enough in the company of the pups, but if one toe was put out of line she would wish she hadn't been born.

*Tara*

The human looked up slightly once the growling ceased, however the only motion she made was one to lift her arms o the ground, her weight put all on her knees. She eyes fell on the pus, however she resisted the urdge to to reach down and touch any of them. Instead she just watched them, not moving, letting them take in her scent. maybe later, when the situation cooled down she would develope some sort of relationship with the pups, but for now she was weary to do much of anything for fear of angering the male.

Mayling

She snarled and walked away from the man and was now investigating the lady

the pups they watch.
