*Vets*

When no wolves were to be seen nearby, the humans opened the gate and carried in a sleeping wolf; Dark Star. They laid him down near the fence and hurried to back off and close the gate. They hid some distance away to watch him wake up and see how the pack would take to him.

Peregrine

The alpha of the Red Stones territory had hid in the vegetation as they brought Dark Star in. He was very wary of humans; they had caught him from the wild and he never had full trust of them. Once they left, he came forth with his tail held high but cricked in uncertaintly. He gave a high-pitched whine, too high for humans to hear. It was a call to Dark Star. But after the unconscous wolf didn't respond, Peregrine moved in closer, sniffing about the limp form of the wolf. It was clear he was in bad shape, so he was not a real threat to the pack for a while. Peregrine walked a few feet away and laid down. His ears were up and eyes directed towards Dark Star's form, waiting for him to wake up.

Dark Star

When he woke up, and saw the other strange wolf towering over him he immedietly shrinked back and snarled from surprise. He soon relaxed a bit, but was uncertain of where he was. At any movement he snarled or barked, and then his attention returned to Peregrine. He tilted his head, uncertain what to do. Dark Star was not the alpha of THIS territory, so he dubbed his head in respect. He would have done more, but his side was still a little sore. He then flattened his ears and turned his attention to the vets and the fence. He paced back and forth, remembering the time when bandit and his mate, plus a few others had comer to let bandit see his parents. He then turned back to the alpha. He looked round, wondering where he was. He then thought about his mate, Kana. She would be frantic if she came back and he was not at woodland farm. He howled for her, and stopped to see if he woudl get a response.

Cavan

The brute had come to investigate this new wolf as well. He padded over with occasional glances at Peregrine. Cavan had his head tilted to the side as he studied Dark Star with one good eye and one good ear. The other eye and ear didn't function at all because of a simple genetic defect. After a long moment, he spoke up, "I'm Cavan."

Dark Star

He turned to Cavan. "Dark Star. It would be a pleasure, in different conditions." He turned his attention to the fence again. He put his paws up on the fence and howled even louder. He turned back to the wolves, Cavan, and Peregrine. He limped back over. He eyed Peregrine closely. "You...Live in the wolf center?" He disliked the place as much as he disliked humans. And that was a lot. He was currently distracted from the place with his questions.

Snowden & Auna

Snowden and Auna had heard their friend's howl and both came as fast as they could. Snowden was first to reach the scene. But the sun had caught his eyes, which being a cat's, weren't good at picking up detail. Squinting against the sun's blinding rays, the young snow leopard spotted what looked to be Dark Star beyond what might be a cluster of thin silver branches or... smoke? What ever it might be, Snowden thought, it could be leapt through.

"SNOWDEN, STOP!" Auna screeched out suddenly, realizing the solidity of the fence. But it was too late. In one huge bound, Snowden cleared over ten feet of ground and plundged straight into the fence. In a gasping hiss, the bewildered feline was flung back from the fence by his own momentum and came tumbling to the ground. The next instant he sprun straight up with his long tail frizzed and eyes wide, "W-what in the world?!?" he hissed out again as he streaked across the ground and crouched in some thick vegetation.

Auna had stopped a few feet from the fence as she watched her brother dart into safety. Not bothering to answer him because she knew he wasn't hurt, she turned to Dark Star, "What happened? How did you get in there? And... what is this thing?" she questioned, looking up at the tall fencing that stretched across the ground farther than she could see. Knowing that wolves couldn't jump over such a high structure, the feline wasn't worried about the other two strange wolves.

Dark Star

When Snowden hit the fence, he flipped around with suprise. His jaw nearly dropped as he stared. With much bewilderment in his eyes, he said excitedly "S..snowden!!! And Auna! Your alive! AND breathing! I thought I had smelled you but I wasn't sure until now because your here.....your both here...." Then it struck him. He froze with a serious look now in his eyes." The thing between us is a fence. And there are humans on your side. Your mother would kill me if you were caught. And the humans could even do the same to you. You must either leave or venture further into the brush until night.I will explain the rest then. Is kana with you?" He asked, knowing that with Kana they would be able to fend for themselves. He hoped they would listen, and he then went over to the vets. He once again put his paws on the fence like he was standing up, and with an evil threatening glint in his eyes, he growled low as it soon became a snarl. This was a warning that if any ill came to the leopards, their lives would be on the line. But of course they might not take the hint. He then got off the fence and looked at the territiory he was in. He made sure to keep a close eye on everything; Peregrine, Cavan, Auna and Snowden, and a particulary malicious eye on the vets. He was not usually like this, but when it came to those he cared for, the not so liked would become prey in a heartbeat.

Kana

Right after Auana and Snowder arived she did as well. The grey wolfess spotted Dark Star and smiled but she then frowned, why was he in there? She listened to him tell the leopards the leave or hide she turned to them, "do as he says, we don't want to make your mom mad" she said with a smile. Then she walked over to the fence, "why are you in here?" She questioned, nudging him inbetween the fence.

Dark Star

When she inquired, he shrugged. "Don't rightly know why I am in here, I guess the lady didn't have the right tools and equipment to help me. But look!" He turned to show her the side where a long but thin scar was quickly healing. "Lost some fur but nearly good as new." He licked her lovingly, and nudged her back, but then told her "Go now with the cubs, I am not sure what the humans would do. Make sure to change positions frequently, to catch them off, and return around midnight." He smiled, then waited to see her off.

Kana

She smiled at him, "Ok, I will be back at midnight, I love you" she whispered before turning, "come on Auana, Snowden, lets go" she said.

Dark Star

She watched them go, and then turned to Cavan. "How big is this place?" He asked.

Cavan

Cavan had made a hasty retreat when the leopard catapulted himself into the fence. Recovering from the slight shock, he responded to Dark Star, "Not big enough, but you can at least run and stretch your legs. There are two bison in here as well; but they're too much for Peregrine and I to take on, although they carry our scars now." The wolf replied.

Dark Star

"Hmmmm...Bison. No wonder it's not big enough. But that's fine. I suppose a bit of exploring would do me good anyhow." He then stretched himself and ran off towards pebble pond.
