Fresca & Kasna

A she-dog of mixed and uncertain breeds limps towards the brick building. Her coat was ragged and unkept. Her side was peppered with bits of metal where she was shot at by a shotgun, for reasons beyond her understandings.

Tagging along to her side was a husky with a multitude of scars over his lean body. These two were the remainder of the Alley pack, long since decimated by the Shadow Lurkers and the elements. They had lived a bleak existence together since their last terra had been broken up. Weakened and near the point of breaking, the two old friends returned to the Wolf Center, where once they had made good friends and won an important battle.

Fresca stopped all of a sudden, her brushy, brown ears standing up. "It's occupied... there's no humans..." She murmured.

Kasna nodded, sniffing about too. "And there is no scent of the Lurkers. We might seek refuge here? We need a home..." He encouraged, nudging his friend.

Fresca nodded. Then she gave throat to a light, barking howl to hopefully catch the attention of the alphas.

Avalon, Xena, & Gambit

The alpha and alphess stumbled quickly over their land, followed by a seemingly grumpy wolf. The three had just returned back from the ranch after a simple sudden attack. They were full of energy now, as for their limbs, aching.

Avalon stopped short of the two other canines. He studdied them both with deep brown eyes. He looked to Xena and whispered something to her which couldn't be heard by anyone else around. Avalon quickly looked back to the two, quite dazed and amused. He sat back on his haunches and looked at them. "Hello." he deeply barked out. He shook himself slightly before looking back to them.

Xena sat beside Avalon and watched them. She was quite amused as well, but nobody would be able to tell. She was a good actor of all kinds of feelings, but not one for being the main show. She too, studdied them warily. "Hello, what brings you two around this place?" she barked out. "I am Xena, the alphess here." she then said shortly after, quickly realizing that she forgot to pick up the pups and take them on their first hunt. "Avalon here will be able to assist you for now." she called out as she started back to the den at a quick pace.

Avalon looked back to them. "I am Avalon, the alpha here. This is Gambit." he said, pointing his maw toward the other large wolf. Gambit's ears flung back and then out. He was eager to hear what these two had to say. "Hello..." was all that came out. He was frustrated with the ranch. He had to retreat, and fighting is a big important thing in his life. His tail swooshed along the hard matted dirt of the ground.

Fresca & Kasna

The two instantly dropped their heads down. Kasna brought his entire body down, further than Fresca's in submission to the two alphas and Gambit. He allowed Fresca to speak, for she had always been the alpha and leader.

Her ears came back as she spoke up, "I'm Fresca, and this is my good friend Kasna. We were seeking a pack, and we hoped to join yours?" Kasna nudged her then and Fresca quickly added something else, but with a cautious note, "Do you, by chance... know of the Shadow Lurkers?"

Avalon & Gambit

Avalon looked down, happy to see that these two were friendly. His eyes stared hard at the ground, as he was deep in thought. Shadow Lurkers? Ahh, he had heard of them somewhere, long ago. Never had he actually met them. He was usually one to keep to himself so not all of his pack would hear about them too. Not that he had anything against them, but he liked to keep some unimportant things secret. He raised his head back up to look at them again, quite pleased with their actions. "I have never met them, but I have heard of them... Somewhere." he said, glancing down to the ground. He looked back up again and spoke some more, "If you are looking for a pack, you can stay here. There are many others around somewhere, but I have no clue where they are... Hmmm. Do you have anything against the Shadow Lurkers?" he asked, still deep in thought about something. Then he decided to add a bit more info about who lives here: "Well, I guess I will giove you a little bit of info on some of the canines living here in the Hidden Shadows Pack... They are all wolves except for Acacia and Celestria, for they are both part wolf and husky. I have to go and find Xena now. Perhaps you could answer my questions next time we meet?" he said. With all of that he turned swiftly and raced off to the den.

Gambit grumbled and followed after the alpha quickly.
