Oracle, Starbane, Shadowstep, & Narimbi

Gray-blue ligeress emerged from the Basement with a noticeable bounce to her fluid gait, and a spark of mischief in her dark eyes. A growing adolescent, the daughter of Tyrant and Velvet was tired of milling around the Ruins and was ready for something more exciting, and the equally restless cubs that had followed her were the perfect excuse to do something fun.

Oracle waited for the horde of little felines at the top of the steps, while taking the moment to survey the interior of the Temple. At the entrance, she could see Zanarah laying down, and knew they had to either distract the big cat, or find some way out of the Temple without her knowing. Oracle looked back to her brother, Mael, "How do we get by Zana? If she sees us taking the cubs, she'll stop us. Or get our parents."

Shadowstep, Narimbi, and Starbane soon reached the top of the steps, all clustering around Mael and Oracle. Narimbi peeked out from between Maelertech's legs, blue eyes gazing about her with growing excitement. "Where are we going now?"

"Shhh." Shadowstep whispered, having heard Oracle's concerns. "We have to be quiet, or Zanarah will stop us from exploring."

Maelertech

He tilts his head as he observes the feling laying ahead of them. ill distract her and catch up to you, stay out of site till I have her in the next roomhe said glancing at the smaller cubs. He is mostly tan with dark brown stripes that end at the top of his shoulders and do not travel up his neck or face. His mane wasn't in but you could see the rough of an adolescent. His underside and paws were white. He hopes this works and goes over to Zanarah and make to rub up right under her chin and lie down on his back. He may not be a cub any more but he still acted like it. He batted at her face.No one wants to play will you play with me?he asks.

Melinu follows them up and is about to run for the door till he notices the older feline lying there.I hope he can distract her, the adults always ruin our funhe said his head low and he backs up.

Teri is right behind her brother and crouchs down to watch.

Oracle, Starbane, Shadowstep, Zanarah, & Narimbi

Oracle nods to Mael, "Good luck brother, we'll wait for you just beyond the moat." To the kittens, the adolescent turned and carried on in a quiet tone, "We'll practice our prowling skills - walk softly and with purpose! Don't make a sound." And as Maelertech made his way to Zanarah, Oracle began to stalk between the giant pillars of the main room, using these giant stone slabs to try and hide from the older cat as she moved closer and closer to the exit.

Already enjoying the excitement of this new game, Starbane fell in line behind Oracle and began to mimic her movements. He kept his head and tail level with his spine, and stepped with slow, exaggerated movements.

Shadowstep's cloud-gray eyes flick to Melinu, "When we grow up, we'll be fun adults. Not like these guys, always ruining fun with stupid rules." She gave her brother a grin before slinking after Starbane and Oracle.

Narimbi paused at edge of one pillar, peeking her head and whiskers past the side to watch Mael's efforts.

An ear flicked as Mael approached the ligeress, and a content purr rumbled to life when he nuzzled her. Zanarah was a patient creature, and had always put up with the antics of Maelertech and his sister. "Play?" Blue eyes open to study the now upside down adolescent, "You know it's my time to nap; where's your sister? Surely she'll oblige to a game of chase."

Maertech

He paws at her face playfully and huffs.your time to nap while you here to make sure none of us see the daylight till we're old enough?He questioned her and then snorted.She too enamored watching Momo and the newborns to care about me!he said.

Melinu nodded and they followed quietly after oracle.

Oracle, Starbane, Shadowstep, Zanarah, & Narimbi

Zanarah scrunched her face up as his paws batted against it. One eye cocked open again and she chuckled at the young male, "You caught me I suppose. I tell you what; I'll play a quick game with you, if you don't tell Senka or Tersek?" She gave him a wry wink and rolled to her paws, not truly concerned about the Co-Leads, but wanting to keep Maelertech entertained. Keeping her claws sheathed, the big cat took a playful swipe at the adolescent, batting it against his head.

Narimbi jerked her head back behind the pillar when Zana got up, not wanting to be seen. Holding her body low to the ground, she slunk swiftly to the next pillar, scrambling to catch up with the rest of the group.

Oracle led the tiny mob in a wide circle, moving from one pillar to the next until she was close to the door. Only a few dozen yards away, she paused and poked her head around to look across at her brother. She nodded to the open door, then to Zanarah. He'd have to keep her distracted, and keep her back to the exit long enough for the group to dart across the open space and make their escape...

Maelertech

He knew his sister and him would be in so much trouble if they were caught but he was bored.I won't tellOUt of the corner of his eye he saw her and he smiled as he got up only to grunt and playfully paw at her with both his front legs. He then made to playfully lock his legs around her head to keep her froming able to turn as he playfully fell on his back.wrestling then? or something else?he said.

The others kept low and waited.

Oracle, Starbane, Shadowstep, Zanarah, & Narimbi

She squinted her eyes against the assault of his paw, the rest of her body tensing in preparation for an attack. One ear had flicked back when she thought she heard a noise, perhaps the shuffling of paws against the ground...? But Maelertech had grasped her head with both forearms and dropped his weight against the ground, preventing her from turning a quick look over her shoulder. With a grunt of effort herself, Zanah chuckled again, "Wrestling it is, but be warned that I won't go light on you." Her playful tones suggested otherwise, and certainly the powerful liger wasn't going to use all her strength against the youngster.

Zanarah turned and flopped down against her side, and began to kick her hindlegs at Mael, trying to catapult him away from her face...

Oracle had seen her opportunity and hissed quietly at the youngsters "Now, go, go, go!" The ligress herself bounded towards the entrance, making the distance easily with her long legs. She skittered to a stop outside, hiding behind the wall as she waited tensely for the others to make their bid.

Starbane and Narimbi both scattered across the open ground, dashing like mad things until they made it to the door and into the dappled sunlight outside. Following Oracle's cue, they both darted behind her, and out of sight of Zanarah.

Shadowstep made it half way before pausing to make sure Teri and Melinu were keeping up okay...

Nerogi

Nerogi The son of Nemu is quiet as he follows them. His ears back in anticipation. He then darts out. He was smaller then his sister Korra

Korra bigger then her brother she moves out within a few strides.

Dutch only slightly smaller then his brother but with short legs grunts a little as they now dart for the outside. He moves as fast as he can.

Abigal Looked mostly lion but with faint spotting and rossetts her skull and muzzle mostly resembled her grandfather sundown as she moved she moved past her brother.

Melinu meanwhile the run of his family and at the moment all white follows as fast as he can.

Teri her body resembled the tiger but her legs the snow leopard so it took her a little longer to make it to the door or it would of if she didn't crouch, shake her butt and leap for the entrance and then skitter around the side.

Malertech smirks.i would hope nothe chimes up and then finds himself pushed off her face but he hoped the last of them were through as he got to his feet and attempted to tackle her.

Oracle, Starbane, Shadowstep, Zanarah, & Narimbi

Shadowstep joined her siblings as the last few skirted around the edge of the door and out into the main forum. Oracle took a quick look around, making sure there were no others in immediate eyesight before dropping her head to whisper to the youngsters, "Keep quiet and stay close. There-" The ligress paused as her gaze fell across the form of Leomar snoozing atop a fallen, mossy pillar. "-there are other adults around, but most of them should be sleeping. Come, we'll wait for Maelertech at the moat.”

Picking her steps carefully, Oracle quietly moved onward towards the moat. Once there, she sat back on her haunches and looked back towards the nearby Temple, to see if Mael could make it out alright.

In the Temple, Zanarah was picking herself up swiftly after kicking Mael back. Her long tail lashed behind her, scattering a few stray leaves in its wake. Their rustling partially masked the quiet patter of cub paws as the horde made a rush for the door. With a grin, Zana launched forward just as Maelertech did. Larger than him due only to her older age, the ligeress used this advantage to try and toss him to the ground and pin him, with a mock bite to the throat...

Maelertech

He is easily pinned and his tail moves up and downokay okay I give you win!He fake cries.

The others follow silently.

Oracle, Starbane, Shadowstep, Zanarah, & Narimbi

Zanarah holds him down for a moment longer, her eyes squinting into a grin and she held onto a mouth full of skin and fur. By the time she finally let go, the cubs had all made it to the doorway, and the big cat was apparently none the wiser. She took a step back and sat down, "Don't worry Mael, you'll one day be bigger than me, at the rate you're growing. Keep practicing though, and hone those skills."

Maelertech

Meal was very much a flirt but he smirked.and then I'll winThen bounded off out the door as if it was just another day. He caught up to his sister and rubbed against her.easy peasy come one lets gohe said quietly.

Oracle, Starbane, Shadowstep, & Narimbi

Oracle nudged him back under his chin, a wide grin plastered on her face. "Good job, brother." Mischief once more danced in her eyes, and she turned to the sea of smaller faces around them, "We just have to cross the moat now, and avoid any guards they have posted. Luckily for us, most of the guards should be asleep." She knew Leomar was almost certainly sleeping, and guessed that most of the other big cats would be snoozing during the warm part of the afternoon. Taking one more quick sweep of the immediate area, Oracle pressed on with cautious, quiet steps as she headed for the moat.

Instead of jumping in, the big ligress eased into the calm waters and paddled silently across. Once on the other side, she climbed out and resisted shaking her fur, instead standing as rivulets of water ran down her pale coat. "Hurry, but don't splash!"

Narimbi was next, easing into the water as she'd seen Oracle do. Turning her nose up a bit at the discomfort of being in water, the youngster nonetheless paddled across quickly and without a fuss.

Starbane hesitated, mostly out of fear of the Water Monsters. He took several long moments to survey both banks before Shadowstep nudged him harshly and knocked him into the dark waters. "Hey!"

"You were taking too long." She snickered as she slipped into the moat and glided to the other side. Starbane splashed and floundered for a wild moment before finally getting his barrings straight and swimming to the opposite side, grumbling all the way
