Majikan; Others
Majikan led his pride to the Temple, sitting down near the entrance.
Enshalla, Tamaka, Koray, Tama, Devaki, Estelle, Raiquen and Keryn filed in after Majikan, taking their placed beside their leader.
Kajsa
Kajsa followed her family to the place. She yawned and sat beside her father.
Samara
Samara who was now heavily pregnant moved right past Koray and then moved toward the basement.
Devaki; Tama; Estelle
Devaki, Tama and Estelle moved to the basement as well. They would drop their cubs off there for the war.
Risen .+. The Assassins
Halabex and Tavern came in side by side. The akita's belly was well swollen, due at any moment it seemed. Though both of their faces shared worry. Their last son had to be killed, he would not have survived in the wild, and they would not subject him to the cruel ways of the humans.
Both sat comfortably in the circle, looking at the new allies and nodding to them. Darmus came up slowly, his head down, eyes shifting madly as a wicked cruel smile came to his features. When he got to the group he looked at all of them, one eye much larger than the other and he smiled. "Hehe-hello, M-my name is Stockholm...." He looked around, his tail wagging frantically as his features all of a sudden switched to that of an excited puppy. Giving a sharp yip Tavern barked out. "Come here Darmus." The white chow froze stark still and watched the two alpha's. Then moved slowly to them.
Halabex growled, "I forgot we already had a kid, one that wont grow up..." Tavern nuzzled the brown wolf. ",B>Well, at least he is not completely useless." She said, staring at the demented canine.
---
Risen came down the flight of stairs that lead from the upper floor. Her bright yellow eyes caught the group of allies and she changed her path to move toward them. "Greetings everyone." She bowed to them. Halabex and Tavern bowed back to her, Darmus sat there staring at a grain of dirt on the ground. There was a long moment of silence before his big fluffy paw came pounding down on the unmoving dirt, crying out "GOTTCHA!"
Risen would have lifted an eye brow if she had one, but substituted it with a puzzled look. "Anyway.... The reason I have called you all here is because I have recieved word of a gathering force. Our enemies are collecting their allies and plan to battle us, I hear it will be on neutral ground." She looked around: Oraiyus and Inu were setting on the windows, keeping their eyes out for wandering ears.
"We have to come up with a battle tactic." Tumult soon moved up to the group. "I assume the Strategists should be summoned?" He asked with a smile, "Yes." Growled his mother a little annoyed. Tumult nodded and cried out for the strategists of the group, even the young ones.
"I have only one tactic so far. That is for those of the color that match our venomous snakes to bring them in as weapons into the battle. They will hide in your fur until you strike and then will lash out with their venom. Also Quil can possibly make some potions But what kind of potions are the best to be used.." Tumult tured around and smiled. "All the warriors should bath in a poisonous concoction and let it harden on their fur. When the enemy bites us they will get a mouth full of toxins and hallucinagines... and." He trailed off as his mother looked at him.. "Wh-What." Risen smiled, "I'm glad you came into the world boy." Tumult pause and gave a half smile, unsure of the complement. His tail wagged, "Be we would have to force ourself not to lick our wounds, and how would we make it so it affected them without hurting us if they puncture the skin?" Risen turned to him. "Have the antidotes already consumed by the Warriors..." Tumult nodded to her suggestion. So far, the plan had taken off, now for suggestions from the others.
Kajsa
she dipped her head and listened.
Samara had come back up to sit with the allies.
Devaki
Devaki was a strategist for her father's pride, besides being a warrior. "I have a plan, Lady Risen." She waited until she got the alpha's attention before continuing. "Perhaps you could bring the Haunters to the battleground before we arrive. We will recruit the Sombra Cazadores while you fight Kalaber. You would create a diversion, if all goes as planned. Then we will come and ambush Kalaber's pack."
In the back, Mahala was preparing her weapons for the war.
Cavan, Geinah, Quilikham, & Velvet
The beta was settled a few paces from Risen, letting his mind work over the defensive measures that needed to be taken during the assault. With so many new litters, they had to be prepared for a counter assault against their main base.
Geinah positioned herself near her brother and mother, holding her head up, but not nearly so high as to be considered a challenge to Risen. "Before we head into battle, we should know about the terrain we're to fight on." The young she-wolf pointed out, "I'd suggest having one of our birds scope it out and relay what advantages and disadvantages there are to it."
Velvet looked from one member to the next, letting vague ideas and random thoughts roll about in her head. The lioness had settled herself across from Risen and her brood, waiting patiently until she could voice up her thoughts, "Along with the notion of weapons, I have a suggestion for our deer warriors. Wedging branches from locust trees into their antlers will infitely add to the number of damage points and increase the range of attack." Slanted eyes focused briefly on Risen for her approval, before Quilikham took her chance to speak.
"The poison used on the Aspen Grove pack is extremely effective on the canines. It has no ill effect on deer, so it could be applied to them as well as their antlers and hooves without risk of poisoning to themselves." Apart from that, she was thinking hard about a concoction that would be damaging and lethal to the enemy, but not to the carriers. "Apart from poisons, I could prepare a special meal for the Warriors just before heading into war. I know of several plants that will boost their strength, staminia, reactions, and concentration for a short period of time, and largely block the sensation of pain." Quil paused for a moment, "I could add in an antidote if you wish for me to apply more dangerous toxins to the canine Warriors."
Risen .+. Tumult
Tumult spoke out, out of turn, but he had to fit it in before it was completely lost. "The darker warriors are going to be lathered in toxins, then the lions and the lighter colored fighters should carry the snakes. The serpents will be able to hide in the mane of the lions. Each strategist should wear a snake as well for their own protection, and then the light colored warriors who are going to have no toxins should as well." He lowered his in apology.
Risen glared at her son, but nodded in agreement with him. Then heard the thoughts over the deers and adding branches to their antlers. "Good idea. Put the poisons on the antlers and hooves as well as the tips of the sticks. We will have to tell the warriors to look out for the poison. And yes, Quil, feed the antidote to the Warriors, every one of them. But only lather the dark colored warriors in with the mixture."
Then to address the thought with the birds. "Yes, but we have yet to know where it is. When we find out we will have them scope the territory." Then she turned her attention to the attack plan. "I suppose it would be better. We will have the attack in three. First The Haunters Warriors will attack, Poison lathered Warriors mixed with the group so they don't suspect anything. Then all the allies will come up from behind. Attack them blindly, and then Ino will come and retrieve the guards and horses and deer. The horses will have their hooves covered in poison and the rhino's horns as well. Also Joeys tusks. Just before the battle all the children will be taken to Dima's temple. All the water dragons will swarm that area to keep the children and mother's safe. During this time the Healers will make the poisons and help apply it to the warriors." With this she started to recite
"To go over: First we will receive the location and have the birds scope the area. During this time we will transport the children to Dima's temple. All the gators will gather around to protect them. The first fleet of warriors will be covered in poisons as the children are being transported. They will then eat the antidote and head off. They will attack while the allies apply their poisons and eat their antidotes. When the opponent dies, the second attack will come in, all allies. Come from behind. During this time the guards, deer, and horses, will be readying. When Ino comes back and gives the signal they will divide into two groups and attack from the sides. Male Lions and strategists get first dibs on the snakes, then they will be distributed to the light colored warriors. Any questions? Is this clear?" She picked up a lip but asked sincerely.
Sora and Silia
Sora walked in soon after risen finished. He was the father of some of the pups of the haunters but he didn't care. All he really cared about was spreading his seed. Though he was a perfect fighter his teeth easily sliced through mosto f his enemies.Sadly his pack only conisster of himself, his sister and her four children born of Vicious. He sat down close to the alpha of the temple listening to the rest of her words.
Silia followed suit. She looked like a normal wolf almost except had her brothers build slightly.
Hero
Hero, the black coated brute, smiled at the thought of a battle. Finally... Hero thought, a smile pricked his face when they mentions poison. They would be unbeatable, and the Avengers would regret this. "I am dark colored, I can carry a reptile." Hero spoke up, when silence had come, making sure he didn't interrupt.
Scout; Night Eyes
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi rushed into the Temple, seeming not to notice that he was in somebody else's territory. He ran straight to Mahala and her pack, barking frantically. "I need Mahala! Her mom is under attack!"
Mahala looked down at the small dog. She didn't know what he was saying, of course, but she could tell that it must be important.
Night Eyes stood up, passed Scout, and stood before Risen, bowing before he spoke. "I understand if you would not want us to go so soon before war. But I will ask nevertheless. Mahala's mother is in trouble, and she needs Mahala's help." He said coolly and submissively.
Risen
Her lip twitched as the request, but Tumult seemed to be the one who answered. "I think if you come to the battle later wih the human and her weapons it should be alright. Come back to the temple first and poison Mahala's weapons before coming though. And keep a bird on you to relay messeges." Risen gave a deathly gaze to her son before nodding. "yes, go." Giving in to old age, Risen didn't want an argument right now, and she had to let her son take some leading responsibilities. He wasn't being promised the leading position, but experience wouldn't hurt him.
Mahala; Night Eyes; Laine; Others
Night Eyes smiled and bowed, acknowledging Risen's words. He turned around and barked to the secretary bird. "Laine! I need you to come with us, please." Laine nodded and flew to the dog's side.
Mahala stood up, following Scout out of the Temple. Night Eyes, Riverhawk, Sky Dancer, Yareli and Laine were not far behind.
Incalia & Others
She knew it was closing in, time was beginning to take it's toll on Incalia. As much as she tried to fight it, it was becoming clear she had passed her prime, as was slowly being weakened by age. Still, she wouldn't miss out on one more change to send as many enemies as she could to Cerberus.
She entered the temple with her daughter behind her. The gamma female approached Risen and Cavan, as well as the gathering forces, and Vaermina and Litharaz fanned out behind her. "Me and my daughter have birthed new litters for the Haunters, Risen. We are ready for combat, when you need us."
Incalia was dark in colour, her black and tan coat perfect for the poison. Vaermina and Litharaz, on the other hand, we're both white, so probably wouldn't be able to support the poison, or the snakes, unless there happened to be some smaller, light coloured ones that could hide in their longer fur.
Mahala; Others
Mahala returned to the Temple on Koki's back, Night Eyes, Riverhawk, Sky Dancer, Yareli and Laine following her. She jumped off of the mule's back and bowed to Risen as she took her place. Her pack surrounded her, ready to be prepared for war.
Mahala, being a crafty human, had all sorts of ways to protect her animals. She went to the corner where she kept her supplies and picked up a thin rope with carved, pointed sticks all along it. She tied it around Koki's neck. This was to protect the mule from an attack to the throat. She did the same with her four canines.
Night Eyes, being dark gray, could hide a snake in his fur. Riverhawk, however, who was red, would have to use the poison. Sky Dancer, the black and tan dog, could also hide a snake in her fur. Yareli, though, was light tellow-tan and would have to use the poison.
Night Eyes glanced at Mahala before turning to Risen. "Mahala could hide a snake on her body." True, the girl wore dark brown clothes with flaps and pockets all over the place. Aside from that, her long black hair concealed her neck and shoulders, offering another opportunity to hide a deadly serpent.
Risen .+. Tumult
Risen was looking around and listening when she looked over to Inalia. Something in the hybrids eyes shook Risen, a truth that all the first generation Haunters were growing older, weaker the next generation would be on the rise. Suddenly she was lost, looking at Incalia and then looking around to all the elder members. Those whose last fight could be this one. The words of Night Eyes were just a blur to her as she went off on a tangent thought.
Tumult patiently waited for his moms response before speaking up. "We only have so many snakes, thirteen to be exact. Unless we find more who are willing to fight for us we can't have everyone have a snake."
Then the brute turned and addressed Hero. "I think, since the snakes can hide so well on the dark furred, they will be expecting that. Turn it around and make them want to fight the dark furred. They will try to dodge the less poisonous wolves. Attacking our poisonous troops in a false security." When he finished Risen was staring at him, he swallowed his breath before turning to night. "Mahala can wear a snake for her protection. She has less fur than us around her body, and human necks are weaker than ours. It'd be best if she carried one." Tumult cleared his throat and nodded.
