Cavan & Others

Pacing with a mixture of eagerness and anxiety, Cavan awaited the return of the brigade he had sent out to the Calypte Ranges. At the same time, he was going over in his head the interaction between himself and Risen. He had overstepped his bounds that time, and he knew it. Quarreling with the slender fatale was not something he had intented to do, and despite his drive for power, it was not in his wishes to overthrow the queen. She had acheived a certain level of savagry and cunning that kept the others inline without question. Cavan was sure he could keep the others in line as well, but he knew he had more opposition than Risen did. Among the massive pack, he had come to understand there was a certain level of unspoken dissension among a few members. This quiet and brooding tension could pose serious trouble for the violence-inclined pack if the current leadership were to fall apart. It was an unsettling idea that Cavan hoped to quell with the new mission. In order to stave off any attempts at upheaval by the few power-hungry members, Coriscan's torture and death would be used to drive home a sense of fear and obedience.

"They are back!" Dally's voice shrilled out with a raspy touch that complimented his dark character quite nicely.

Cavan stopped in mid-step to turn a yellow orb at the raptor, "And?" He pressed, slightly aggravated that Dally didn't go on with any detail straight away.

"Coriscan is among them." Dally responded, albiet with some curtness. "Not willingly, I might add." A chuckled followed this observation.

Lips writhed back as a wry grin cursed the wolf's muzzle."Good, good. Fetch Risen." The scarfaced brute stood before the entrance of the Temple, patiently waiting for the warriors to arrive.

Incalia, Onslaught, Ardeth & Litharaz

With bloody jaws, Incalia led her two sons and Litharaz back to the Temple to regroup with Cavan. Striding forward with her head high, the black and tan hybrid came to stand beside her Beta; her head was only a hair lower than his - arrogance was one of the main componants in Incalia's attitude.

"Were we successful, Cavan?" she questioned, her eyes watching the warriors file in, but her half-torn ear directed towards the wolf.

Onslaught was next, after snarling at his younger half-brother to keep his distance. His icy yellow eyes looked over his mother and Cavan as he made his way through the entrance to lay down near the wall of the temple.

Ardeth, supporting a fresh wound from Onslaught after being chastised for his "challenge", came forward with his head low, earning a disapproving look from his mother.

Litharaz was next, floating across the ground like a white wraith, as he settled himself inside the temple to rest.

Fanta

Fanta had followed solumnly, quietly. Tail held high, blue eyes narrowed dangerously. "We should've murdered them all..." Fanta whispered darkly, bloodlust pumping in her veins. "But commands are commands."

Cavan & Others

The two-toned eyes of Tersek fell instantly upon Cavan, sizing up the beta. Before he could even attempt to test himself with some shameless dominance posing, the older wolf caught his look. That single, cold-yellow orb of Cavan's narrowed fiercely at the other, and that was enough to make Tersek back off - for now.

"We have Coriscan, and that's success enough. It would have been nice to have some pups as well, though." Cavan added a bit sourly, not hesitant to draw out the flaws of the group. And when he said this, his single eye rested pointedly at Tersek.

Before his brother had a chance to get himself in trouble with a snarl or foolish attack, Lion approached the group with a respectfully lowered head. The thick-ruffed hybrid placed himself between calmly between Tersek and Cavan while nodding in the direction of the approaching grizzly bear. "What are we doing with him?"

Thunder's Call held Coriscan by the back of the neck and scruff, gripping him in such a position that the ex-Haunter/Lurker couldn't twist about and bite him. With a grunt, he dropped the struggling captive and placed a massive paw on his back to prevent him from escaping.

"We will have some entertainment tonight. As soon as Risen arrives." Cavan replied, speaking in a louder voice to adress the rest of the incoming Haunters.

Rasheetah .+. Risen

After seeing Rasheetah dart into the temple, Risen finished up her speech with Sora and pursued the others. After entering the room she spotted Coriscan under the bears paw and smiled. "Good Job." She said as Rasheetah took Nevven down to the basement and out of sight of Coriscan. "One pup is a sad count though." She looked to Cavan with disappointment. "Where are the rest?"

With the rest of the Haunters filing in behind, Risen lifted her head and spoke. Her calm now gone as her voice began to fill with authority and anger.

"FOR ALL OF YOU, EVEN THINKING OF BETRAYING US. WHO THINK TO GIVE OUT OUR SECRETS AND PLOT AGAINST US. YOUR OWN FELLOW HAUNTERS. CONSIDER THIS... TRAITOR'S PUNISHMENT A WARNING."

She snorted for a moment, before her lips curled back to revealed her ivory teeth. "He will receive the worst punishment. In later cases, punishment will be established by vote. But for this traitor, a first offense is enough." She moved close now. Close to Coriscan's face with her eyes boring deep into his own. Her fur ruffled around her tattered thinning body. "Death.... does it scare you? Are you afraid of the hell you will be living after this life. You know that I can decide where you go. Be it heaven or hell." She snickered, her voice low so that only the few around her could hear.

Then she lifted her volume and barked. "I'm going to tell you exactly what's going to happen to you. Today, after a few moments of letting you confess your sins, we will amputate every limb from your body. Then we will remove you of your ears, and then your eyes. You will finish your confessions, and say a final prayer to which ever beast you worship. And then your bottom jaw will be removed from your being. For three days, you will sit, and think of what you have done. On the third day we will bring you personally to the gates of hell... But I will reserve where that is until we get there. Understand?" She snarled to him, then looked up. "All who are young should move, all who wish to participate in this, circle round."

Havik, Demolition, Black Ivory, Violence, Razor, Riot, and Villain all grew closer with blood lustful grins. But they waited until they were given the orders to undo the traitor.

"First, Quilikahm! Bring us some herbs that will keep this traitor awake through his final moments. He will more than likely pass out from the pain with out them. As well as something strong that will make him hallucinate." She looked for the healer deer as she commanded out loud.

Cavan & Others

With the leader in their presence, Cavan lowered his head a touch and shot a glare to Tersek, warning the younger hybrid to be on his best behavior. "One is a sorry number, but it will weigh on the enemy's heart none-the-less." He replied in a hushed tone, to keep the younger ears from hearing it.

The shadow of Dally trailed across the ground, circling over the group once as the falcon followed Risen in. He then dropped down on a stoney perch and set his sights on the squirming traitor. A maliceful glint shown in his large, dark eyes as he waited for the ceremony to get underway.

Dulsca, Leope, Chahaya, and Callholm all joined in the crowd that was to participate. The Coalition, Tersek, Lion, Monarda, Destroying Angel, Panther, Bergamot, Dawning Eclipse, Geinah, Yarrow, Huerosan, and Donte all gathered forward as well. Ginger and Vensaii, were drawn back by Nachi, who felt the four-month old kittens were more likely to get trampled in the crowd than help out with the torture.

While everyone was gathering forward, Quilikahm had scampered away to gather the needed herbs.

Warfell stood on the outter ring for a long moment, staring at his encircled brother with facade that was impossible to read. His eyes were narrowed, and his jaws set tight. Deep, forceful breaths huffed in and out through his flaring nostrils. The thickly-muscled hybrid flinched slightly when Coriscan looked to him, but that was all the reaction that was shown.

For Coriscan, it felt as though his heart would leap clear out of his chest. His entire body was quaking and his eyes were so wide that the whites shown clearly as he looked from one Haunter to the next. They finally rested, trembling, on Risen. "If I'm going to hell, I'd hate to see where you'll end up!" He manage to spit out, despite the overwhelming terror that was growing in him.

With a large stock-pile of herbs, it didn't take more than a few minutes before Quilikham returned with a mouthful of plants. It was a cocktail of different herbs, some which would act swiftly and others that would be slower to take affect by last longer. Papaver somniferum, Claviceps purpurea, Atropa bella-donna, and Solanum dulcamara made up part of the mixture, in very precise and calculated amounts. They would help to induce an array of reactions from Coriscan, from hallucinations, vertigo, delusion, dementia, and more. They would also to go stave off shock and help to slow the heart and constrict blood vessels, hopefully preventing the hybrid from bleeding to death before his time. The plants were ground up beneath Quil's little hooves, until they were of a mushy consistency. She then took a few steps back and looked up to her leader, "I will need to have access to him at all times, to ensure he does not die before you wish him to be dead." The deer explained, still meek and timid as ever, but bouyed in the fact that she could be of help to Risen's cause. It would be a delicate task to keep Coriscan 'out of his mind', and keep him alive at the same time, considering the injuries he would be subjected to.

Sora

Sora had followed risen and by the looks of it the crowd was already getting big.His tail flicked and he moved toward the crowd to watch.

Risen

The female nodded to the deer as the rest gathered around. "Give him what he needs before the punishment begins." She told to the deer. Then her head lifted and she mentioned "Break his bones as much as you want, tear slowly to you hearts content. But he is not to be amputated any higher than the first joint of each leg. His tail however can be completely severed." Another thought ran through her mind. Again she spoke to the healer.

"Is there anything to give him that will slow, weaken, or cease his movements but still subject him to the pain he deserves?" She watched the deer for a moment then lket her eyes flick up to Sora. There was a small glint that she acknowledged his presence before returning to her inquiry to the little deer.

Razor was first to move up to Coriscan, his jaws open at one of his hind legs. Licking the paw hungerly before blowing a hot stream of air on it.

Hidari smiled to her sister in an evil way before pracing towards the tail of Coriscan. She pawed at it to force it to move as if mere play. But she had every intent to destroy it when commanded.

kagura & Sora

Kagura followed her sister to the traitor and licked her lips. She moved to a front leg. For when she injured his leg she wished to see the expression his face. Her long tail flicked.

sora he caught risens eye and just grined. Oh how he liked watching others get tortured. This should be fun.

Incalia & Others

With a psychotic, menacing laugh, Incalia approached Corisan, a sinister smirk plastered over her jaws. Circling round the gathered Haunters, the Gamma moved towards one of the traitor's front legs, her eyes flashing ominously. Her jaws parted, but she didn't strike just yet. Let him squirm first...

Onslaught, Ardeth and Litharaz simply joined the circle around Coriscan, baring their fangs at the defector.

Cavan & Others

The muntjac nodded to her leader, "The Nightshade and Mandrake should take care of that, among other things." She looked to Coriscan now, nudging the paste forward, "Eat this."

"Screw you! You eat!" He shot back wildly, his voice high and sharp with panic. His muscles were quivering frantically and he twitched violently each time a Haunter pressed too close for comfort. His back was arched and his head hunkered down protectively, though it was a futile effort. At this point, Thunder's Call had taken a careful step back, seeing that the traitor couldn't possibly escape when surrounded by so many members.

Quil blinked in surprise, not sure what to do. Her teddy-bear ears folded back against her head as she looked uncertainly at her fellow Haunters. It was Dally who intervened first, gliding down and perching ontop of the deer's head, "By the time I start plucking out your eyes, you would wish that you were out of your mind. For your sake, I'd suggest eatting that stuff."

It felt like the world was spinning around him, his fear was so great. So unimaginable. His survival instincts were screaming at him, but his concious was beginning to tell him what he already knew - there was no way out of here for him. He was going to die. The hybrid swallowed hard, feeling as if his last meal might just make its way back up at this point. Without any further words, a trembling head was brought down as he peeled his lips back grimacingly against his pearly canines. In one quick snap, he took up the toxic cocktail and downed it.

The first thing he noticed was a burning that seared along his mouth and throat, making his mouth water. He nearly gagged at the taste of the plants, but somehow kept them down.

"It will take a few minutes." He heard Quilikham's voice piped up as she informed Risen. His eyes shot to Risen now, then to Cavan. The pupils were beginning to slowly dialate, making his world unbearably bright and fuzzy. A feeling of nausea washed over him again as his body reacted violently to the poisons in his stomach. If not for a certain ingredient that the deer had added, Coriscan would have heaved up the plants by now. But twist and complain as his stomach did, it didn't repell the deadly mass of plants. As his vision began to grow worse, his quaking muscles began to relax, as did his heartrate and breathing. He felt himself slowing down, growing almost tired, and light. The solid ground seemed to shift beneath him, and he staggerd suddenly to the side, colliding with whoever was on his right side. It would be a while before any halucinations set in, but the dizziness and delirium weren't far off. Vaguely, he heard a voice that sounded distant, coming from that blasted little deer... "...he is ready..."

Risen .+. Others

At the sound of the deer’s words, Risen lifted her head dominantly and reminded: “The first joint of each leg. And his tail can be completely gone. Don’t touch his ears until his limbs are done, and the birds will wait to get their fill until after his ears are gone.” She lowered her head, dangerously, deadly: “Punish him.” She backed away as the others took to their ‘duty’.

Hidari was on edge the whole time. As soon as she heard the word “punish” she opened her mid adult sized jaws and crunched down at his tail. Just at the very tip while her hind claws aggressively scratched the opposite direction that his fur was growing.

Havik snarled deeply as the poisoned traitor fell against him. But he was the largest of all the young one and easily held up the adults weight. After letting Coriscan fall, Havik took an angry chomp just below the wolf’s left elbow. Trying to snap the bone and draw little blood at first.

Demolition helped Havik in the torture by going for the front right toes. Biting them between his sharpened back teeth to slowly gnaw them away. Hoping to make his foot a bloody nub before moving his way up.

Black Ivory helped with the rail. Gripping right at the base and bitting hard before yanking back to cause pain, but there was no intent to sever it just yet.

With a darkly smile, Razor moved to his left hock join. Then moved down into the tender tendon just below it. With a quick snap he hopped to break it, then aimed to open and remove it from his being, along with any other tendon that may be in the way.

Riot snorted at the group as they went for full torture. She aimed towards his front leg and quickly attacked at the second joint. Hoping the break it completely and amputate the first limb.

Villain joined Riot in the first sever, but it would only be half severed for they were to still take off one more bone.

Kagura

Having already claimed the left front leg she started gnawing on the paws accasionally pulling at them and shaking her head from side to side. Her claws then dug into his leg.She was purring the whole time.

Sora

sora's eyes watched as the punishment began oh this was enjoyable of course his sister would feel pity and probably of left had she been here.

Estelle; Koray

The young tiger listened as the scene unfolded. She had always been the 'softer' one of the children of Majikan and Enshalla. She pitied the wolf, even though she was sure he deserved it. She had to ask herself what her father would do. He'd turn that traitor inside out. Then she thought about her mother. The queen tiger would certainly give Coriscan a second chance.

She tried to speak up, but she couldn't. She pawed at Koray's head and he spoke for her. "Wait! Estelle thinks that we could bring the traitor to our father. He'll punish him, but bring him back to our side as well." Majikan had a way of 'brainwashing' even adults. It was risky, but it just might work.

Cavan & Others

Coriscan struggled to get up after his initial fall, but his brain couldn't seem to make sense of what was up and what was down. His sketchy vision sought out Risen again, as he coaxed his inflamed throat and swelling tongue to form a few words, "You'll all fall! You-" Coriscan swung his muzzle around to adress the torturers around him, though the act threw him off balance again, "- you all will pay for this! Karma is a-" His delusional ranting was cut off by his own high-pitched yelp as the Haunters moved in for their torture. Pain. Like he had never experienced before, seemed to sprout all about his body. The tip of his tail. The beginning of it. His paws, his legs... countless sources of agony that made him writhe and lash out, and howl in agony. Bones were broken, and tendons sliced in two. Muscles quivered and convlused as they were torn into. Coriscan sent his feverish jaws snapping madly about, and tried to pull his limbs away from the torment, but there was no where for him to escape to.

From Bergamot to Yarrow, the range of creatures each pressed in and tried to set fangs and claws on the lower portions of each limb. Some bitting savagely, while others gnawed leisurely. Fur and blood and bits of rendered tissue created a fine mess beneath the downed Coriscan. Such a horrific act of mutilation would send most into shock, or have them bleeding to death from so many points of injury. But his veins were constricted and his brain was unable to release adrehnaline, or rightly decypher everything that was happening. There was no shock, and no comfort from the pain.

Risen

With her mind set. Her ears fastened to her skull as she turned a deadly eye to the tiger cubs. Darkly she began to growl and hiss out, "I said all youngsters were to leave, You might as well be talking to a ro-" Quickly Sacrifice gave a look to her alpha. Risen's eyes narrowed on the female. Every fur on her body rose and began to tremble a song of death. Before turning back to the group of torturers. "Do not pay heed to the younger ones. They do not know the past nor the thorough rules of the Shadow Haunters."

Sacrifice moved up to the cubs, her harsh eyes growing soft as she lowered herself to look smaller and less intimidating. "Children, I know the punishment disturbs you. You are unaware of our greatest betrayal before your lives were even constructed. Our second alpha turned against Risen and tried to destroy the Haunters. Risen doesn't tolerate betrayal. He is not just being punished, he is being an example of what is to happen to those who try and destroy us." She looked up to Toki who sat with a blank stare at the group of punishers. Then he looked to Sacrifice and then to the two tigers. "As you may well note, not every haunter is participating. It is what he deserves. And a lesson to all of the defectors in the crowd who plot against us." He soon turned back with his same blank look, then closed his eyes and fastened his ears to his skull as if to tone down the torture.

Sacrifice nodded to the cheetah child then looked back over to the tigers. "Come, if you want I will walk with you outside. We are not forcing anyone to be in the presence of this. Especially not allies. " She stood, trying to block the painful view. Ready to escort the young outside and away from the noise.

Kagura

Kagura growled at the two tiger cubs but didn't stop her attack on the wolves paws. Soon the males paw would be gone. Her claws digging into the rest of his left front leg.

Sora watched his mind racing. What a good way to torture traitors. He licked his lip just thinking about it.

Estelle; Koray; Laine

Now Koray was angry. He knew that it was right to punish a traitor, but his father had told him that it is dishonorable to kill them. He looked up at Risen and pinned his ears back. "We are not cubs, nor will we leave. We have every right to be here with our allies." He said with a hint of annoyance. How dare she treat them like cubs!

Laine strode in and looked down at Coriscan. "So I see he's getting what my mother should have gotten." She said darkly, her eyes meeting the wolf's eyes.

Mahala

The human girl moved closer to the crowd, watching Coriscan for a moment. She pulled out her knife and showed it to Risen, as if to say "Shall I use this?"

Risen

Sacrifice looked at Koray and nodded. "Then you may stay. He is just getting what we warned him at the beginning." She then turned and walked closer to Risen. Only to be greeting by an ear chomp. She pulled back with surprise but was well fastened in her half sisters hold.

This was Risen's way of letting Mahala know she could cut off Coriscan's ears with the human blade she held. She gave another small chomp, "But tatter them first." She said out loud. Hoping the human would get the message.

Mahala

Mahala nodded and stood over Coriscan. Staring intimidatingly into the traitor's eyes, she slashed at his ears several times.

Incalia

The word "punish" was music to her ears, and just as the words left Risen's mouth, Incalia pressed forward to sink her jaws into Coriscan's leg just below his 'elbow' joint, and slowly tear away the skin, followed by the muscle. After stripping it of most of the flesh, she opened her bloody jaws, and shot down to break his bone at the point Risen had instructed.

Kagura

This left front Leg was so tastey. She soon severed the paw by snapping down hard on it and then pulling away from the body with her paws on the males body to help push herself. Then she began moving up toward his elbow area.

Risen .+. Others

After the shadows had moved about a foot due to the changing of the sun [about an hour], the haunters began to lessen their feeble gnawing and turned it into devilish tears. Begining to comense the full amputation.

Havik began shark tugs at the front legs along with Demolition and Villian while Black Ivory and Hazard began to tear at the back legs. Hidari began scratching and tearing at his tail. While the rest helped them with their task.

Risen smiled darkly and nodded in aproval to comense the actual amputation.

Kagura

When risen gave the signal to do the actuall amputation of the limb kagura was quick to begin to truelly gnaw and pull at the leg soon working her way to his shoulder where she first dug her claws into it and then sunck her cainines into it and then she shook and pull against the skin

sora laughed darkly at the sould. Drool falling from his mouth. yes completly insane he was.

Cavan & Others

Coriscan's voice was but a hoarse groan at this point, as his weary vocals were raw from the endless screams and howls of agony. So great was the torment that he didn't notice the subtle burning at the edges of what remained of his appendages. The fire that seemed to burn in his mouth and throat was hardly comparable to the ceaseless gnawing and tearing at his flesh by the fangs of his torturers. Death was something that he craved for now, but it refused to come to him.

Quilikham shuffled around the swarm of Haunters, rearing up on her hind legs now and then as she attempted to get a look at her 'patient'. It was her duty to see that he didn't die from this, and so far, he was holding out. Any normal creature would have died from shock or bloodloss at this point, but her carefully construed cocktail of poisons would keep him alive for a few more days, so long as she could keep his bloodloss to a minimum.

The hybrid's head seemed to be pounding with pain as the veins constricted painfully tight. If not for the loss of blood from his amputated limbs, his heart may have well blown a chamber out from the pressure. Coriscan's vision swam again, and his eyes began to betray him. Voices and smells and touch began to mix together in a confusing fasion, so that he couldn't tell which sensory came from where. His brain was beginning to suffer from an LSD-like toxin, and delusion was quickly setting in. He still felt the pain, but could no longer tell where it was coming from, or who was around him. He tried to get up, but his limbs would not respond - in fact, he could not feel them! His ears - they would not respond either. Nor would his tail. All he could feel was that sharp and aggrivating pain in their place.

Risen

Risen's mind flashed back to when a traitor turned against the lurkers, and how quickly that individual was killed. But it ceased her not from betraying them in the same fashion. But this, she had no doubt this would make defectors think twice before turning their fangs against their own kind.

Her brightly lit eyes soon rose as the last of his apendages where removed. With his ears legs and tail gone, he was but a stump of bloody wolf. She smiled and called off the ground assailants, then moved over to him personally and grabbed him by the scruff to force both eyes in range of the next attack. The would be easy to roll with no limbs in the way, but this also meant the dirt of the floor would dig its way into his open wounds.

With a growl she summoned all of the Haunter birds to join in the torment. To completely sever his vision from him. "Take a last look Coriscan, around you. If you can see them, these are the lives you would have ruined if you had not been stopped. We fight back to prevent." Again she called and down came Oraiyus. The prairie falcon landed and quickly took to tearing out his left eye. Sided by the psychotic berry-eater; Ino. Both took to take out the very optic. Every little muscle and ligament that held it in place, plus the octive nerve. To completely blind him.

Cavan & Others

His voice was well nigh shot by now, but he managed an incoherent mumble in response to Risen's words. Something about traitors, stars, falcons... none of it really made any sense, but there was clear furry and fear mixed in with the slurred ramble. And when the birds alighted on his muzzle, the hybrid seemed to understand what was going to happen, and he attempted a pitiful struggle against Risen. It of course got him no where.

Dally landed on Cor's head, bringing his head down to gaze sadistically into the right eye of the traitor. The peregrine then used his talons to keep the upper eyelid open, while his curved beak jabbed repeatedly at the revealed orb.

A renewed series of cries, as rugged and coarse as they were, came from the broken body of Coriscan. The eyes, of all tissues, were the most receptive to pain. The last thing he ever saw where three beaks rushing in at his eyes, and then he felt the blinding agony as they tore into the sensative organs.

Dally delighted in the task, tearing and plucking at leisure at the eye, until his beak and Cor's face was covered in black liquid and blood from the ravaged eyes. Pacing nearby, he heeded Quil's warning about 'Not stabbing too deep' into the socket, but being careful. No need to kill the traitor prematurely with a strike to the brain.

Kagura

Kaugra backed off when her duty was the done. She licked her lips and sat where she was staring at the limb she had torn off.She didn't dare eat it unless risen said it was okay.

Sora he grined and licked his lips. His tail swaying.

Risen .+. Oraiyus

After shedding the blood from the wolven brute, the bird had gotten off and leaped up from her destruction to go off and spy.

Risen smiled darkly as the torcher was being done in front of her. "If you can form any last words you pathetic brute, now would be a good time to say them. For after they are said you will never be able to talk again." She growled.

Before too long, Oraiyus came back squawking. "Risen Risen!" She perched up on a ledge and called out "The Shadow Lurkers, They are falling apart. They are weak." Risen looked up at the bird before smiling. "Tell Temptation she's on a new mission." With a nod the bird left to inform the spy packmate.

kagura/Sora

The young cheetah watched hungerly as the wolf bled.she licked her lips.

Sora he grined and his tail flicked. oh how this pack was such a strong one.

Cavan & Others

"F-fuck y-you!" Through his delirium, the pain-crazed hybrid was cohesive enough to understand what Risen had asked, and to give his curt reply.

Dally had settled himself on the head of Nightshade after he finished the gouging. The stag shook his head once, then patiently endured the falcon's talons as the pressed through his coarse fur like little needles. If he was a Haunter, he better start acting like it.

Cavan snickered lightly at the words that Coriscan had choosen to be his last. He looked questioningly to Risen once, intriuged by the orders she had sent out for Temptation. He had something to discuss with the leader later, pertaining to his sister. But that could wait until Coriscan was taken care of for the time being.

Risen

Risen licked her lips for a moment as the traitor said his last verbal words. With a sneer she ordered for the last of his torture of the day to be done.

Alderon came up, pushing his way through as he forced his horn into the mouth of the victum to seperate his bottom jaw from his top. From there Razor would grab the top jaw while Havik grabbed the lower. When Risen counted to three. Razor Flung his body one way while Havik threw his the other. Alderon would force the front of his horn deeper in Coriscan's mouth so that he could not reclose it to get a grip. When the jaw was wide enough, the rhino would flick his head to pup the jaw out of place and let Havik tear it off. Their goal was to sever his lower jaw completely. Of course with out destroying his windpipe, his esophagose was something else though. The brute would be able to breath, but not much more.

Cavan & Others

Though there was little point to it now, for what it was worth, Coriscan struggled against his captors. He began to snarl and throw out insults in a screeching tone, which quickly became distorted when his jaws were seized. Still, his throat flexed and his already punished lungs strained to comply to the loud insults he was dishing.

In the sidelines, Warfell looked on with a steeled-face. His gaze was ice-cold and ridged as it fixed on his brother, making it impossible to tell just what emotions or thoughts were going through his head right now. When the jaw was wrenched off, the watching hybrid did not even flinch at the sight. He merely watched on, like an impassive soldier.

Quilikahm edged up near Risen, her giant eyes blinking in a nervous manner as she shuffled her delicate hooves subcontiously against the stone ground. Any creature should be dead after such a horrible mutilation, but Coriscan remained not only alive, but concious. The blood and saliva that seeped from the new wound was a thick, sickly black-red in color, and coagulated almost instantly as it left his body. The torn muscles writhed and withdrew, as tendons coiled back in the most sickening slither. "I will have to apply more preparations to his wounds soon, to make sure he lives." The mutjact squeaked up, offering a fleeting glance up at her leader.

Vaermina

Slinking into the temple, and doing her best to avoid looking at the bloody Coriscan, Vaermina approached her alphess in a respectful manner. "Risen," she began, with a bow of her head, her adolesent body kept low to the ground, "There are a rather large group of creatues on the borders of the Ruins. They seek your attention on a matter of war, I believe. Kamari, Melee and Venom are with them currently, but they have requested your attention on the matter."

Risen

Risen smiled devilishly as the last of the torture for the day was performed. When the lower jaw came off and blood spilled across the ground. Risen called off the other's to give him space. "Nice, very well done Haunters. And to any defector, this could be you if you are wishing to betray the Haunters." She growled to everyone, no one in particular.

When Quil came up, Risen nodded her head. "Do what is needed, he will stay like this for three days. Let the dilirium wear off so he can consciously take in what kind of creature he has become. But don't let him die. In three days the Haunters will personally take him to the gates of hell." With a nod she dismissed the other Haunters before turning to Vaermina, "Thank you, I shall be there in a moment." She turned around." He needs to be taken upstairs into the smallest room we have, and guard the door, pft, as if he's going anywhere." She snorted as she looked hatefully upon the mutilated body, then turned and headed out to see the new group that Vaermina was talking about.
