Monarda
Loping in at a less than hasty pace, Monarda filed into the Temple with her reddish tail swaying loosey behind her. The punctures and lacerations she recieved from the fight had mostly stopped bleeding, but her ribs... oh, they hurt something terrible. Sleeping would not be a pleasant thing for the next two or three weeks to come. At least none of her wounds were near life-threatening, and she did get a good bite on that stupid cat.
Satisfied with her work for the pack, Monarda headed along the side of the main chamber until she found the nearest room. Stepping inside, she slowly eased herself down on her stomach and tried to sleep. Despite the pain, a full belly made sleep come rather easily.
Hidden Betrayal
She moved silently to the Den, and quietly followed Monarda. Seeing the female fall asleep, the wolfess loped up the stairs but returned a moment later. She was chewing something in her mouth, and she paused by the other wolfess. Monarda....Wake up. She was chewing an herb that she had found helped ease the pain. She had never found out the name of it, but had watched another wolfess chew it and apply it to the affected area. It was a soothing agent, and helped one to breathe with a minty taste to it. Not the best tasting, but whatever worked.
Monarda
Roused from her light sleep, Monarda blinked groggily into the dim room until she found the one who had woken her up. A light smile was offered to Hidden Betrayal, "Ah, I'm awake now. " Grimacing slightly, the young wolf stood up and looked curiously to the plant that her alphess held. Her nose twitched when she detected an aromatic scent from the herb. Monarda herself wasn't too knowledgeable on plants, but this one looked familiar. Sweet Vernal maybe; at least, that's what it smelled like. "Now, don't tell me you're going vegetarian on us." Monarda grinned jokingly, for she assumed that this plant was meant for medicinal purposes, and not just a mid-day snack for the alpha.
Hidden Betrayal
She chuckled softly and said in return You better believe it. Growing somber now, she said in a softer tone This is going to ease the pain from the wounds. It'll allow you to sleep easier. That said, the alphess put the now paste onto Monardas stomach and side, moving carefully around the wounds. She didn't want to hurt the wolfess, only aid her.
Cavan & Nachi
Not even trying to hide his limp, Cavan made his way into the temple, choosing a larger room more towards the back of the chamber. Laying down in the doorway, he sat back on his haunches and began to clean his shoulder. "Stupid cat... that little..." Unalbe to reach his neck to cleanse it, Cavan resorted to calling Kalaber and Nanuka colorful names under his breath, imagining in his mind what their next encounter would be.
Nachi came in shortly after her brother, dragging the skull with her. She placed it to the side of the main chamber, where a long beam of light shone on it as it filtered through a nearby window. "Tonight, we will talk with Outcast and Palitina." She declared, before noticing Hidden Betrayal and Monarda in a nearby room. Sauntering towards them, she looked curiously upon the alpha while ignoring the other fatale, "Tonight, when the young ones are asleep, I shall teach you the night ways of the cats."
From the opposite side of the room, a silent snarled played on the muzzle of Cavan as he watched his sister converse with the 'target'. If not for Risen's warning, Cavan would have stormed over right then and their to at least confront her, if not slay her. But as it was, he had to keep his cool for a while longer.
Lion & Tersek
Tersek helped to drag the second skull in, laying to to rest near the cow's. Then he jogged determinedly after his mother, standing beside her as she spoke to Hidden Betrayal. "I would like to learn such things, Mom. I know I can make you proud."
Lion was quiet as he came up behind his brother. Wither's doubts had infiltrated his own thoughts, as much as he tried to suppress them. At the time though, he still leaned towards his 'mother' as far as his trust went. As he waited for Nachi to finish speaking to Hidden, Lion stared at the two skulls illuminated by the sun's light.
Cavan & Nachi
Wind of a stranger met Cavan's keen nose. He stood with a groan, as the movements sent pain through his wounds. As he headed for the exit to investigate this new scent, Cavan paused just outside the door where Nachi and Hidden Betrayal were. For a brief moment, he stood and stared at the duo, but at last decided not to say anything, once again staying to Risen's word.
Nachi glanced back at her brother catching a look of deadly warning in his eyes. She ignored it, and soon, he headed away, leaving the Temple. "Don't mind him, he gets moody sometimes." She explained, but was still perturbed over his actions. Sometimes, she wondered what really went on in the mind of Cavan. Looking to Tersek now, Nachi thought about what he said, "Maybe another time, Tersek. You must remain near the skulls and wait for the moon to shine upon them."
