Cavan

The completion of the moat did well to ease Cavan's mind, for security was something he constantly fretted over. There were still a few things he wasn't quite content with, but he'd speak his mind on that later. Right now, there was more news to contend with.

Dally had since informed the scar-faced brute about some troubling events. While it seemed that one of these events wasn't reversable, another could be twisted back into their favor if they acted quickly enough. Having bounced some ideas off of Velvet, Cavan howled out for Risen.

Risen

Risen moved into the temple, her head was held up and her eyes narrowed into the darkness. When she spotted Cavan her tail gave a few wags in greeting before sitting close to him. "We need to talk," She said, "But I will let you speak first. For I wish the company of the other Strategists for what I have to say." she said. Watching him before nodding for him to continue.

Animortia

Animortia came up to Risen. "Risen, Windsong notes that Aspen Grove is stable, but a surprise attack will do a good toll. Especially on the females." The panther smiled. "Sorry if I interrupted..."

Cavan

Cavan was about to speak with Animortia came up. A soft growl followed through, showing his displeasure at being interrupted. With a less that pleasant look to the other, he focused back on Risen, "Dally has some information. Cortinarri has betrayed us, and she's with the Aspen Grove pack." The growl intensified with this bit of knowledge, then eased up as he went on to explain the next, "Coriscan has apparently left us as well. But the fool has gone to a tiny pack just to our east - the Calypte Ranges. I'm not sure of their alliances, but there's only three adults in the group, and four newborn pups."

Risen

Risen's lips curled back somewhat as the female took Cavan's turn to speak. As she listened, she began a small smile. "Yes, an attack on the Aspen grove is essential, I- " Hal's calling filled her ears. Damn-it She thought. It wasn't the best of all times to fight with the enemy. But she would rather see Rasja pay for her betrayal. Oh, great now she was torn in two.

Her ears listened to Cavan and a strong growl erupted. "She will pay for her betrayal. As will Corsican. But they will have to come the later." Her eyes shifted back and forth from both her second in command and Animortia. "Cavan, I want you to lead the assault on the Aspen grove. I will lead the back up to the Ridges. Take who you need." With a nod she turned and raced out to confront Hal.

Kane

Kane approached the alpha and beta and bowed his head. "If I may interrupt, I have a plan." He first said, then continued. "Both the Aspen Grove and Shadow Hedge are allies of the Shadow Lurkers, are they not? The enemies will be split in two! If we can keep them that way, their army will fall apart."

Cavan & Others

Muscles tensed with anticipation as he was given the green light for an assault. As Risen made her way to contend with Hal, Cavan strained his hearing to Kane. "That is a good point. Kane, I need you to do something for me - be sure all of the pups, Mothers, and Healers are at Dima's Temple. Have all the Guards posted there as well, in case the enemy tries a counter attack on us while we are out." He directed, "Then follow Risen out."

Hearing Risen's call in the distance, Dally swooped in by Cavan, "What is the occasion, Cavan?"

The wolf looked down at the falcon, speaking gruffly, "A war, and we are on the offense. I want you to gather the Coalition and those of Lurker blood for my group. Gather the horses as well, and the deer. Wither, Incalia, and Silver Trace. Send the rest with Risen. The Lurkers will be more apt to defend the Shadow Hedge than they will the Aspen Grove, so I image that's were most of their forces will be sent." Turning away, Cavan paused a moment, "Have the forces gather near the south end of the moat. We'll set out from there."

Dally nodded, "They will be there shortly." The falcon took to the air as he set out to gather up the Warriors.
