Luke/Kane
Luke continued to drag his hostage until he reached the Ruins. He dropped the hybrid off in Tahti's room. "This room belonged to my friend." He said in a low growl. "And she's gone psycho because of beasts like you! There is not one member of the Shadow Haunters who has not lost something to the other side." He sat in front of the entrance, blocking her from escaping.
Kane set the two pups down in the center of the Temple and howled to attract the attention of the Mothers.
Fanta, Hero + Katina
Fanta's blue eyes stared at Luke coldly. Somewhere in her heart, she felt guilty. She hated war. But she was loyal. And loyalty was what mattered.
Hero and Katina both whimpered. Where was mother? That howl, who was that? They were blind, but their ears had filled in early. They whimpered. Hero had done a half-sitting position. Protecting Katina, sort of.
Luke
Luke growled and stared back at Fanta. He knew nothing about her, and this bothered him. "Tell me your name." He demanded.
Fanta
"Fanta." Fanta replied curtly, turning her head to stare at the markings on the ruins wall. Hiding her fear.
Luke
Luke grinned and took a step forard. "Fanta..." The hybrid repeated quietly, staring at her. "I am Luke. The wolf with your pups is Kane. I'm sure you already know Risen."
Fanta
"Yeah." Fanta replied quietly. "Who doesn't" She looked up at Luke, her body tensed.
Luke
Luke continued to stare at Fanta lustily, taking yet another step forward until he was right in front of her. "You'll get to know us much more in the next few days." He said softly.
Fanta
Fanta blinked, her body felt cold. She was wordless for a few moments, why was he so quiet. "If I find out that any of my pups are hurt, I'll skin you alive." Fanta whispered tartly.
Luke
Luke smiled evilly. "Don't worry, dear. Your pups will be fine." He whispered back, licking her on the face.
Fanta
Fanta, whom had been sitting, fell back, shocked and afraid. What the hell... Fanta thought. But she laid on the floor in relief, at least her pups were safe....
Luke
Luke laughed, taking a step back. "You'll warm up to me eventually." He said with a smirk.
Fanta
Fanta scrambled to her paws. "The Shadow Lurkers will search for me. I won't remain a prisoner forever." Fanta snapped. His words echoed in her mind.
Luke
Luke grinned at her words. "Yeah, they'll come. And they will all be slaughtered." He replied angrily. "They'll all die because of you."
Fanta
Fanta winced. They Haunters had lions, panthers, wolves, hybrids, coyotes, dogs, alligators. What did the Lurkers have? Wolves, hybrids, dogs and birds. His words were mostly true. "So your saying I'll be a Haunter?" Fanta replied softly. Her blue eyes softened, and a single tear rolled from her eye. Oh, Silverfur...please help me! She thought. "At least they'd die for a cause..." She replied shortly.
Luke
Luke narrowed his eyes in fury. "No, I'm saying the Lurkers will come after you. And then we'll slaughter them." He shot back angrily. At her next words he bared his fangs and raised his hackles. "And we wouldn't be dying for a cause? We're all the same, Fanta." He growled. "I'm just like you. I am somebody's son. I have children myself."
Fanta
Fanta turned away, her back facing Luke. "Yeah, we're all the same. We all die, live, fight, hate, love." Fanta paused. "We all have a cause, Luke. You wouldn't die without a cause, you'd die doing your duties." Fanta replied simply, his anger didn't affect her.
Luke
Luke snapped at Fanta's face. "Fine. We all have a cause." He replied, rolling his eyes. "But the Lurkers will die doing what they think is right. Not what is actually right."
Fanta
"You have your opions, and I have mine. Let those differences by pass us now." Fanta replied. "There is no good or evil, no right or wrong, just differences.: Fanta sighed, flinching when Luke snapped at her. She had a secret liking for him. Bold, stubborn. Just like Silverfur. "Any more differences to settle?"
Luke
Luke smiled softly now, but still snarkily. "There is good, then there is evil. God made good when He made the world, and the Devil came and brought evil with him. The first of us broke the laws. That is why there are wars today." He said, reciting stories his mother once told him. He liked this female as well and it was obvious by the look in his eyes.
Ynear
The head mother trotted out of the basement by the call of Kane. Her eyes searched around until she found the pups on the floor. Soon she took to nuzzling the two and hushing them. "Thank you" She said softly to the deliverer and took the pups down to the basement with the rest of the little ones.
Her ears turned before heading down the stairs. Listening to the hostage, she could only smirk at how silly the 'other side' was. They wanted wars to continue? Why-so? And then she exited.
Fanta
Fanta could hear Ynear take her pups, and she whimpered. "True." Fanta agreed half-heartedly, turning to Luke. Then it dawned on her that she was a prisoner. "What are you going to do to me?." Her voice was barely a whisper.
Luke
Luke shook his head and smiled. "We're going to give you a home here." He simply replied. "If you don't cause any trouble, it will be easy for you."
Fanta
Fanta shivered. "Will I see my pups again?" Fanta whispered. She gave a sigh. She had prided herself on being a strong Lurker, and well known member, now she was captured. Everything in her life was shattering like glass. Pride, Love, everything. She felt worthless, of if should could run back to the safety of the Aegis Den. Home... She shuttered. This was anything but home. But she had no choice, this was the life of a prisoner. Like that one wolf in the Lurkers. What was her name? It didn't matter. Fanta was taking the role like that wolf. She'd get a taste of that wolf's world.
Luke
Luke sighed and sat down. "You will see them when they are ready." He replied, almost lovingly. "But for now they are in the care of the Mothers, and I assure you they will not be harmed."
Fanta
Fanta nodded, watching Luke warily, but did not act up. "I might as well be a Haunter." Fanta replied. Her heart with the Lurkers shattered, ever since Silverfur died. Patch, Suenga and Arget seemed to be more loyal then she. Everything broke into pieces since last winter. She felt a waver of darkness, this would be a taste of darkness. Finally, pushing that little voice of reason out of her head, she decided. "I'll be a Haunter, I don't expect much loyalty or power, as long as you Haunters promise one thing." Fanta stated boldly, her tongue felt bitter as she spoke those words. "You promise that the Lurkers don't find out until its too late."
Luke
Luke smiled once more. "Good choice." He simply replied, wagging his tail. "And I promise you that the Lurkers will not find out, if that is what you wish..."
Fanta
Fanta turned away. Her past was her past, now she must drop it. "My first plan is to find who to hate." Fanta replied tartly. "I'm guessing its the Lurkers, Aspen Grove and such." Fanta gave a soft smirk. A low laughter grumbled in her throat. She blocked out Silverfur, Patch, Feather, Suenga and Arget. She felt as though her mind was like a tree, and now a human chopped it down, and it was gone. But a new tree would take place, this was the same with her. She licked her paw. "The question is, does your leader trust me"
Luke
Luke laughed quietly. "Yes...The Aspen Grove is certainly a pack to hate." He said softly, rising to his feet. And then Fanta's question came, and it made him think. "Risen will trust you if you obey her."
Fanta
"Hopefully." Fanta replied. She then sat up, one of her paws touching the floor lightly as she swept the dirty flooring. Looking innocent, beautiful, and irresistible. Eyes narrowed. Fanta sighed. Maybe...he might be the 'one'. She had two mates in her life, now she can make it three. And this one just might live longer.
Luke
Luke stepped back and frowned. He was one to be easily seduced, but he wouldn't want to get in trouble with Risen. He knew that he needed permission to breed. And he broke this rule once, but he was sure Risen would never find out about that. He shook his head and took a few steps forward, wagging his tail slightly. "Perhaps we can leave the Temple for a while." He said softly, almost in a whisper.
Fanta
Fanta stood up, shoulders flexed. "Maybe." She replied shortly, tail swished lightly. "Where?" Her voice was creamy and soft.
Luke
Luke looked out into the main temple for a moment before looking back at Fanta. "Ummmm...the mountains, maybe?" He suggested.
Fanta
Fanta stood up. "Let's go."
Luke
Luke smiled and stood up as well, nodding and leaving the Temple.
