Onslaught
The hybrid sauntered into the temple, his icy yellow eyes penetrating the darkness in search of his father. What a coward, can't even stand up to his own sister. Onslaught, being the smallest, easily held his own against his larger brothers. Though Bandit had seemingly disappeared, Ghoul looked to his brother as an equal, or so Onslaught thought. The coalition had both himself, his brother and the other high ranking next generation offspring, and was now one of the top divisions in the Haunters, one of the most respected, and soon to be the most feared.
The multi-tonal adolescent stalked forward, sighing deeply as he came to a halt in the center of the temple, shooting anyone who looked at him a steely glare. His voice, low and sinister, echoed around the room and bounced off the stone walls, "Come on daddy, come and talk to your son."
Vicious
A low growl came from the shadows of a side room. He didn't reveal himself, he was in to much pain to come out right now. "What do you want boy?" He snarled disrespectfully. There was a small grunt of pain before he hauled himself up and walked to the doorway of the allies room.
Only his face and chest were lit by the dimming light of the temple. His face was bleeding lightly, but his neck was tainted red from the hold his sister was able to get on him. A small strip of skin hung from his collar bone. If one listened closely the faint sound of warm liquid dripping against the cool damp ground could be heard by his feet. "Maybe you should leave."Came the unfriendly suggestion. His scarred muzzle curled back somewhat to reveal his front teeth.
Onslaught
His large black ears perked when the growl reached them, and an ominous low reply began to seep from his throat. His hackles rose, and Onslaught, ever arrogant, began to smirk at his father. "Leave? I don't think so." He began to advance on Vicious, eyes flashing and the bottom of his fangs just visable. "I might have listened to, before you practically shit yourself in front of everyone because your sister had shown up." He came within lunging distance, but no further. "I was ashamed to call you my father. I stood up to her better than you did, and you're the infamous Vicious. Or should that be Kyronas?"
The smirk faded, a deathly blankness now shadowing the hybrid's face. "I want to know why. Why you lied, and why you're scared of your sister."
Vicious
His eyes light wildly at his old name. "Never call me by that, ever. That name died when the pack did seven years ago. " He growled out. Before stepping up to his son. Injured or not he wasn't going to be belittled by his offspring.
"You want to know why I'm scared of her? I watched her die in front of me. I watched them all die at the jaws of a larger breed. They were monsters, true monsters. Bears, ten of them at the least. Came upon the pack telling us to leave. My family was to proud to heed their warnings, I was to young to make my own decision. In the dead of winter, the mountains get might rigid. Colder than you have ever felt before. The snow was almost ten feet in drifts, and they came at us.
"All ten, all hidden in the snow, they were just as white as it was. Uncle Red was first, Then Auntie, Then Father. Mother tried to save my oldest brother, Xibus, her favorite. They were both torn apart." He paused, then shook his head. "I hid, cowardly, but I wanted to live. Luustotis, Yuboiyus... They both left the den, barely old enough to walk, to protect the pack. Both impounded as soon as they left our safety. I heard, both of them, cry for me, to help them. I couldn't move, and when the blood was shed from both of them, The bears were occupied with them, I took my run. I never returned." He growled, "They were both dead, all of them I saw them all die." He looked down then looked up to his son and offered an unfriendly flash of his teeth. "And just the nature of the whole pack... They carry the true nature of the pack, but you wouldn't understand. It was much more high strung than the Haunters ever will be."
