Tahti/Kane

Tahti crawled back into her lonely room when Aava left. She lost one daughter to their enemy, and her son had been murdered. She barely even remembered Iota. Half the time she forgot she had more children. She closed her eye and slowly fell asleep.

Kane, sitting in the corner of the coyote's room, watched the female carefully. "What was that?" The disrespectful wolf blurted out, not caring that Tahti was sleeping.

The smaller canine impatiently lifted her head and stared at Kane. "Just another fool, like you, who trespassed on Shadow Haunter territory." She replied, then fell back asleep.

"Oh." Was the whispered reply from Kane. He didn't dare move - Tahti would have his head.

Flak/Tahti/Kane

After leaving the residential areas, Falk thought he would seek out his old 'friend.' He hadn't seen her for years. Nose to the ground, he walked into the Temple and sniffed out the coyote. He stopped at the entrance of her room. "Hello?" He asked, showing no emotion.

Tahti opened her eye and her head shot up. "Go away." She snarled, raising her hackles defensively. Flak grinned. "So you are here." He chuckled, entering the coyote's room and circling around her. "But my oh my, how you have changed. We used to be friends, remember?" His voice held sarcasm. Tahti bared her teeth in a snarl. "But my oh my how you haven't changed. You're still the dirty flea-bitten tick-infested maggot-breath bug-bait mutt you've always been." She shot back aggressively. Flak bared his own teeth. "That's not funny!" He spat, rushing at the smaller canine.

Kane stayed in his corner. "W-What's going on?!" He yelped. Flak lunged at Tahti, and Tahti did the same. Their jaws were locked. They both kept their feet firm on the ground. Tahti jerked her head downward, hoping to break the wolf's neck. Flak tightened his grip and threw the coyote against the wall. Her head hit the cold stone, and she went unconscious. Flak picked her up and carried her away.

Kane watched, horrified. "What are you doing?" He barked. There was nothing the coward could - or wanted to - do.
