Rasheetah .+. Others

The cheetah walked in with six fawns three hinds and adolescent deer following her. Being reared by Sacrifice, Hazard, Temptation, Ghoul, and Onslaught. As she entered she continued to walk past the other Haunters and to the middle of the temple, then turned around and faced the group. Eyes now dull as the rest of the pack were to cut off escape. "This is but a part of life." She said gently.

Villain watched as the group entered then quickly beckoned the Elephant and Rhinos to move outside. "Those who do not eat meat should not be inside." He said quickly then lead them to the outside of the Temple so they would not watch the slaughter. "Those who share the taste for blood stay and help and then feast."

With that he moved outside with Gymba and Yzunala following. Gymba turned to make sure little Joe would be following her.

-------

As herbivores moved out. Blood heathens moved around and slowly closed in on the group. Sacrifice started out and bit at the neck of a younger fawn. While Ghoul went for one of the deer he brought in. Hazard and Temptation helped by both attacking another fawn. Rasheetah took at the throats of one of the elders.

Iota had returned to watch the group enter, and as the others attacked, she went for an elder deer as well.

Samara,Joseph,Kudo and Others

Samara had followed the one she talked with in and joined in with eating for she was starving. The other meat eaters that were with he joined in as well.

Joseph quickly followed the mother whine and baby rhino out letting his little trunk hold onto the mother's tail.

Kudo ate..with his friends.

Onslaught

After taking a position on the side of the herd to corral them into the Temple, Onslaught waited for the que to strike. Once it was given, he aimed to ram one of the adolesents that had been brought in onto the ground, and seize it's throat; tearing it apart.

Enshalla

Enshalla followed the group back to the Temple, wondering why they did what they did. She would have to get used to working on a team. But she did what she thought she was supposed to, and stealthily leapt at one of the adolescents.

Shattered

The satin she wolf moved forth into the depths of the Temple. Through the entrance to the outskirts of the middle. Where (there should be) some deer who's lives were beginning to end. Enough for the pack to eat from plus their guests. Shattered paused for a moment then lowered her head. "Great Cerberus take heed on these poor creatures." she whispered in prayer to herself.

"We have the food, but wait until the rest have finished sending their spirits to the great Guardian." She said gently.

Mahala & Pack

The odd group followed Shattered into the Temple, making little noise. Mahala didn't know how they would take to having a human in their midst. "Come, sister wolves and brother wolf." She said to her canine friends, using body language and the few words the dogs knew. "Let us give thanks for this meal." She sat down, bowed her head, and began to speak. "Thank you for our friends, new and old, and this meal they have generously prepared. And thank you for bringing us safely to our home. Amen." She then raised her head and watched her new companions carefully.

The dogs and wolf gathered next to Mahala, as if to protect her from anybody who may not like her being here.

Ater

Ater watched the strange ritual. He had never seen anything like it, but his hesistation was short lived. He quickly knocked one of the older deer over, clamping down on its neck with his dagger like teeth, killing it.

He raised his head as he heard foriegn speak, his yellow eyes falling on the human. 'A... a human... this is truely an unusual pack.' He kept a wary eye on her, but he could do nothing if the higher ups allowed such a creature amongst them.

Cavan, Nachi, Tersek, Lion, & Deer

Closing ranks with the others, Lion stopped himself by the door as he acted guard while members entered. Each passerby got a quick but attentive look-over, some being familiar to him while others were new. But seeing as they weren't outright attacked by other fellow members, he could only assume they must have been recently accepted into the Haunter's midst.

Tersek joined the others flowing into the room, and instantly sprung to life as he aimed for the nearest deer to take them down. A quick, brutal bite to the throat and a savage thrash of the head to end the life of the prey.

Cavan and Nachi entered at an easy pace, brother and sister walking shoulder to shoulder. When the beta stopped, so did Nachi, her eyes lit with a curious thrill at the sight of so many deer and the tang of blood that drenched the ground and permeated the air of the room. Moreso than her thrill to eat, she was tickled at the news of so many pups being born - three of which were related to her!

Cavan only lingered back a moment before charging ahead and singling out the last deer to be standing - defiant Valence. While the elders took their fate nobly and fell quickly, and the six young fawns were too frightened to run, the older fawns had tried to fight back. In the chaos and confinement, they were no match for their attackers, and they fell easily. Even Valence, who rose up with his hooves scything violently in the air, was brought down by an unexpected neck bite from Cavan.

Once all the deer were slain, Cavan took to opportunity to assert his own dominance in the growing pack. With Risen not here, he was the de facto leader for the moment. A deep, gruff howl was issued, loud enough to garner everyone's attention. Standing at the edge of the stage, he gazed over the group with his single eye before speaking, "There are new pups in the basement. I want the Messengers and Healers to take the Mothers some food. The rest of you will wait to eat until they return."

While her brother spoke, Nachi began to chew at the haunch of a young fawn, despite the orders to wait. And seeing her get away with the act, Tersek decided to assert his authority as he began to gnaw at the belly of another deer.

"Did you not hear me?" Snarled Cavan suddenly, narrowing his pale yellow eye at the insubordinance of Tersek, hackles bristling and fangs bared in a stark threat.

Tersek, larger than Cavan and unhindered by the physical flaws of his superior, felt brave enough to question his leadership, "Yeah, but you're letting Nach-" An intensified snarl from Cavan quickly put an end to Tersek's complaint. Mumbling to himself, the younger Haunter backed away from the food and sat with his head hung and shoulders hunched in a peeved manner.

Coriscan, Warfell, Panther, & Angel

The four cousins lingered near one of the fallen elders, yet they weren't about to have a go with challenging Cavan. As tempting as the fresh food was, the group obeyed without question.

When the orders were given, Coriscan obediantly stepped forward and took hold of one of the fawns. Taking the creature by the neck, he tugged out out of the room and down to the basement.

Meanwhile, Panther nudged Destroying Angel, "Why does Mother get to eat, and no one else?" He whispered, pointed his muzzle to Nachi, as she ate without punishment or interference.

Angel gave her brother a pointed look, as if to say, 'keep your voice down before you get me in trouble!' "Because, stupid, Mother is Cavan's sister." She explained shortly. The four hybrids referred to Nachi as "Mother', even though they knew she was not their biological mother.

Dally, Dulsca, & Others

Dulsca and Chahaya moved in, stepping leisurely over the sprawled bodies as they picked there way over the crimson-stained ground. The lioness setteled herself down near an older fawn, while the tigeress moved to a younger one.

Velvet and Black Claw joined their mother, sitting patiently as they waited for their next orders.

The coalition, carrying themselves high and proud, sought out their 'brothers' to feast with them. With Leopeson leading the other three growing cubs, he stopped near Ghoul. A beckoning look was given to Onslaught, for he didn't want to speak out loud in fear of aggrivating Cavan.

Guntar, Leope, and Callholm joined the party as well. While Guntar and Callholm were perfectly content in listening to Cavan, Leope had to hold back a scoff. Of all the canines, Cavan was one of the smaller ones here, and with a bad eye and ear to boot. Still, the lion knew it would be suicide to try and assert his dominance. At least for now.

Thunder's Call also came lumbering into the room just in time to hear the last of the brief spat between the beta and Tersek. Not heavily involved in the pack's dynamics, he didn't pay any heed to the confrentation. He only waited impatiently for the signle to eat.

Dally was perched at the edge of the stage, his keen eyes searching over the group for Risen. He had some news for her.

Incalia, Litharaz, Onslaught & Krypt

Onslaught dropped the fawn, his muzzle coated in it's blood. At Cavan's orders, he moved away slightly but was obviously angry as he sat down and waited for food to be delivered to the mothers. He noticed his mother come up from the basement, and it soon became obvious she had had another litter. So I have some new half-siblings, hmm? Perfect for the coalition, prehaps? Speaking of the coalition, Onslaught's eyes flared as he spotted his lion brothers enter the Temple. He grinned, standing and making his way over to them and Ghoul. It was a nod of greeting, nothing more in fear of angering Cavan further.

Incalia spotted her son's look, but did nothing, just joined the growing circle around the slaughtered deer, and waited for permission to eat.

Litharaz and Krypt also arrived and joined the ranks of the hungry, waiting for the signal to start feasting.

Risen.Villain.Sacrifice.more-

Sacrifice held onto her kills until they were sure as dead. Then let go and listened to the more dominant male. As he told her to bring food to the mothers, she could only comply by taking one of the adolescents and bringing it down to the basement, it should have been more than enough for the small group down below

Villain came stalking through the door. Moving up to the food and lowering his head. "I have promised my friends, and our guards, a share in the meal." He informed and then grabbed another adolescent and moved out of the temple and to the gator made lake in the back.

Wither walked in slowly. She was swollen from having pups, but would soon return to normal. Moving around she picked her own meal, one not to full of takers, and waited for orders to begin eating. Eying her 'mother' but not saying a word.

Ghoul moved up with the Coalition, bowing his head in greetings then looking for Onslaught. He was quite hungry and ready for his kill to be available for eating.

Hazard's eyes flicked around wildly as he saw all the food now, and angry that he could not eat it. Turning to his sister he bowed respectfully to her then moved around and in toward the coalition. Orbs hard yet respectful as he looked for acceptance into their group. Ghoul simply watched him, no opinion in the matter. He shrugged it off and let the others make judgment.

Temptation stared as he brother joined the group. Then moved to a fawn and drooled over it. Resting her head against its belly until allowed to eat.

Fleet and Dab came romping up. Circling around a fawn before settling down and watching Cavan. They dared not object to his law.

Vidiv came up down from the top story and began to make his motions towards his brother, Dab and Fleet only greeted him then looked around anxiously for their other siblings.

The rest came in more filed, one right after the other, picking the least filled deer or ones with those they knew best. Iota picked with her mother, Silver Trace and Shattered chose the same one, though quickly Shattered grew terribly protective. It was a single fawn she started to drag away for the group with the human. Then spoke up, a trembling voice yet one that demanded attention. "These wolves and this human wish to stay with u-us. I-if they cause us harm... it'll be my throat." She whined.

"Indeed it will." Growled Risen as she came up from the basement. She was in the condition of a mother, Well noticeable that her own offspring where down in the basement with the Mothers. To this Silver Trace gawked, "M-m'lady..." Though to quickly she bowed her head. "I'm sorry..." She whined and pressed her belly to the ground. Risen stared at her coldly but made no attempt to punish her for the rude act. Instead she slowly sauntered toward the kill Cavan stood closest to, be it Nachi's or not.

Shattered lowered her head in submission to the alpha then humbly took her place with the group she was watching after. However, it was not Shattered's, nor Silver's, actions that made the alpha growl now. Her eyes scanned the group until she looked upon Tahti. "Coyote... Tahti... You have disobeyed the rules and went off the breed without authoritative consent. Your punishment is as follows: You are to relieve your pups to the mothers, and shall not be permitted to see them until they are of age to leave the mothers group. As added bonus, you are to eat last at this meal. Do not let it happen again or punishment will be multiplied ten fold. Understood?" She growled, staring the mother in the eyes. Then lifting her head and sitting.

Sacrifice came up from the basement just as Villain made his way through the entrance, they took their places and waited eagerly to be admitted. Rasheetah followed in soon after. Risen looked around to the group. Only after Corsican returned did she give her permission to eat.

Lowering her head she began to gnaw at the belly of the beast she sat in front of. Giving off warning growls to all as she tore away at the food. The others began to dig and tear into their own food. Hazard moving in gently, ready to be batted away and return to his sister if need be. The alpha kept her eyes on Tahti, making sure the punished did not eat with the pack.

KAOS

The large hybrid was, as usual, the last, if not then one of the last. Horrid, but that was him. He came walking in, his auds pricked, but his banner hung low behind him. This whole pack thing was still new to him. He had always stayed away from the others before.
Heading to a spot of fewer beings in the group, and not wanting to get any attention, he took a seat by a piece of meal that was untouched. There he sat, not finding himself very hungry, and simply bowed his head to look

Incalia & Others

As the consent was given by the alphess, Incalia, Litharaz and Krypt each set into the various deer carcasses, filling their stomachs with as much as possible. Incalia briefly glanced up at Kaos, offering him a dip of the head in greeting, before beginning to dovour the meat once more.

Onslaught turned to look at Hazard, his eyes narrowing slightly as the other seeked acceptance. Glances were sent to each member, seeking their opinion, but he eventually gave a nod. Prehaps he could be of use? Then, he lowered his head to the meat and began to eat his fill alongside his brothers.

Tahti/Hector/Sekunti

Tahti listened as Risen gave her orders. With a nod, she replied, "So be it." Her voice was cool and calm, showing no hint of anger or disappointment that she had to give up her pups. She knew that they would be in good hands. She raised her head and howled. "Come, children, you must go to the basement to be cared for by the mothers." With a sigh, she dismissed her second brood.

Hector was not at all bothered by this. "Alright!" He yipped, running down the steps. Sekunti whimpered and followed her brother.

Ater

Ater watched as the wolves all came flooding in. As Risen gave consent to eat, he quickly filled his stomach with great chunks of the deer's flesh. As he ate, he kept a cautious eye out for danger, or threats from the higher ups. He was awestruck, to say the least, at the sheer amount of... creatures... that the pack was made up of. It was more than he had ever seen in one place before.

Incalia

Lifting her head from the meat when she heard Tahti's voice, Incalia barked out to the coyote to get her attention. "You, Tahti. Where is that whelp, Kane? If he's left you then there will be hell to pay. His hide will decorate my room..."

Tahti/Kane

Tahti turned when she heard Incalia's call. "He is in my room. Sulking, probably." She said, then turned her head. "Hey, Kane! Get out here!" She demanded. Kane trembled when he heard his current 'master.' He slowly stepped out of the large room. "Did you call?" The wolf asked quietly.

"Just making sure you didn't do something stupid again." Replied the coyote. She then looked back at Incalia and nodded. "Well, there he is."

Enshalla/Majikan

Enshalla signaled for Majikan once the meal was ready. She then opened her large jaws and ripped some meat off of a smaller deer. The 'blue' tiger walked silently through the crowd and sat next to his friend, then feasted on the deer meat. He never really did enjoy large groups, but this one was an exception, as they seemed to give him some space.

Morte

The turkey vulture was naturally drawn to the smell of death, and in the ruins, it was easy to come by. The slaughter had drawn his attention from many miles away, and where their was death, he was sure to follow. The scavenger landed on the floor just inside the temple, his eyes wide and his head constantly jerking this way and that. There were many creatures here. Mostly canine, though there were a few feline creatures as well.

Morte began to hobble around, searching for scraps that wolves or big cats might have missed. He was always wary of the fangs that might turn and snap at him, but he wasn't worried at being caught. He was a scavenger, a clean up crew. He would take whatever was left behind; even stuff that the others might consider uneatable. So he bidded his time; waiting for the perfect moment to snatch a bite of flesh.

Dally, Dulsca, & Others

While the felines fell into their meals with gusto, Dally held off for the time being. He would eat some, but his tastes were more for the rats and fowl, rather than deer.

A shifty look was given to the vulture before Dally swooped down and landed near Risen. Taking a few waddling steps closer, the falcon cleared his throat and spoke, "Risen, I have news that may be of use to you."

Mahala and Pack

Yareli ripped off a chunk of meat and gave it to Mahala, who ate it gratefully. Eating meat raw did not bother her. She had been accustomed to living in the wild.

Night Eyes, Riverhawk, and Sky Dancer hastily but daintily consumed meat off the bones, while Yareli shared with the human girl.

Samara and others

They waited and only ate when the others started to eat.

Luke

Luke walked through the entrance of the Temple, as if by routine. While he showed respect to those around him, he acted like he had done this all before. He was calm and carefree. Being careful not to disturb the residents from their meals, he approached Risen. "I'd like to join your pack." He said plainly. He showed no fear, but his head and tail were lowered in respect to all who inhabited this place. They were higher in command than him and he knew it.
