Sacrifice .+. Silver Trace .+. Others
Sacrifice and Silver Trace came in with the unconscious Ireshk in tow. Their heads low in defeat by the humans. Although they had failed once, they weren't going to give up so easily. They were going to try again when better preperations were made. Until then they were going to begin work with the warrior deer and seperate the pups once again. And even more so, Risen was planning on letting a few of the warriors breed. Supervised of course.
Laying down the injured wolf in the middle of the floor Silver called for Quil with a saddened voice. She was fond of her 'savior'. She wouldn't let him pass onto the next world so easily.
From the sounds, Fawn emerged from the second floor where the rest of the healers were. Moving down and around to the wolf. She began to clean his wounds so that Quil could put the ointments on without so much blood in the way. She shivered at the taste, but could not think of what else to do.
Ynear's body was rigid and stiff. The others company helped to ease her as the fear of losing the young had torn her heart and caused her to lose it. Shaking herself she gave a deep sigh and sunk to the floor in tears. The stress was too much for her, she didn't want to go through something like that again.
Shattered came into the temple, tired but able to get around with her one eye. Single orb turned to the weeping Ynear and she made her way to the half sister. Lowering herself to comfort the mother as the danger passed for the moment. If any were to attack now, they would have to attack the Haunters as a whole.
More filed in, Rasheetah stalked up and laid on the ground. Resting her head and body in the coolness of the shaded rocks. Maybe they were not ready to conquer land. Maybe the divisions should live in the temple until they were to large for it's rooms. Risen didn't bound the pack to one place, they could always freely roam. It was only a thought Rasheetah was brooding on. She was going to ask her if they could do that, and that was final.
Hazard and Temptation looked up as they heard foot steps. Now large enough to move easily and get around. They moved up the stair way to see the crying Mother then to the group that had entered with the injured wolf. Their curiousity sparked and they began to roam further into the center of the temple. Waiting for the rest to come in.
Tahti
Tahti silently crept after the fellow Haunters, still thinking about her son's death. She watched the commotion nearby. An emotionless look was on her face, but she was grieving over the death of Liekki. She closed her eyes, shutting out the world.
Dulsca, Quilikahm, & Others
Quilikham hurried out of her room, little hooves scuffling across the stone floor as she weaved between the incoming predators. She assessed the wound as best she could, but would not know the extent of damage done until Ireshk was concious and able to reply to her. "Keep him warm, but out of the sun." She advised, before hurrying away.
A few minutes later she was back, a mouthful of plants in her mouth. Setting them down, she began to mash the collection of roots, leaves, and flowers into a poultice. With some ivy and cedar bark to help hold the concoction together, she applied it over the wound and pressed it down. "He's lost a lot of blood, and the location of his injury is not good..." She looked over the yearling before speaking to Silver again, 'We can only wait to see if he will wake up. And if he does, we can find out if any damage was done to his spine."
Dulsca padded casually into the area, though a look of slight concern crossed her features when she saw the downed Haunter. At least it was not one of her childeren; she had lost one already.
Leope stretched out on the top of a collapsed dome, basking the the sun that filtered down through the trees. Martimoor spotted his dad and grinned, "Hey guys, lets play with him!" He suggested to his coalition, before bounding towards the big lion male.
Leopeson, Xuvan, and Little Tuft all joined their brother as they rushed Leope.
While Black Claw settle down with her mother a few yards away, Velvet approached the greiving Tahti. She didn't know of the death yet. "What's the matter?" The lion cub asked, hanging her head down and looking concerned.
Callholm and Guntar, wanting to avoid the attention that Leope was about to recieve, picked more secluded areas to rest in.
Chahaya, with her two young daughters, came out from the den to greet the rest of the pack. She had yet to introduce everyone to Yarrow and Purple Haze, the little liger cubs.
Tahti
Tahti lifted her head and looked at Velvet. "My son was murdered." She replied softly. "I do not know the status of my daughters yet. For all I know, the cat killed them too." She did not lie, for she did not know where her daughters were. Though she did know of Aurinka's betrayal, she did not know her whereabouts.
Cavan & Nachi
While Risen dealt with the others, Cavan sauntered towards the Temple. Their little venture had not gone so well, but he was already thinking about how to plan their next attack. Mind abuzz with thoughts, the scarred brute moved past the melee of big cats and canines as he found a quiet place by the stream to lay down.
Nachi exited the temple, her eyes focused on Chahaya's cubs. For a brief moment, she offered Ireshk a fleeting glace as she passed by him, but showed no ounce of remorse or concern for his condition. She had killed Annie to steal the pup, and she had loved him at one point, but he was no longer a pup. And so he was no longer an interest to her.
Tahti
Tahti looked around at the crowd, and, without a word, left the Temple. This did not seem like a safe place to raise pups anymore.
Silver Trace .+. Iota .+. Others
Silver Trace continued to comfort the fallen friend while Ynear continued to cry in the paws of Shattered. Hazard gave a gruff to the others around as they reunited after the trip. Instead of being happy to see all, he only grew angry at the thought of their failed attempts. Surely even -he- could do better than this. A grin creased his lips at this thought but he did not know the wrath of Risen just yet.
Temptation came to greet all those who entered to the temple. Tail a-waggin' in greeting as the warriors returned.
Sacrifice came in after one more stop near risen and spoke out. "All Warriors are to remain at the temple." She barked out. At this Rasheetah stood and began to move toward to the wolven counter part. Ready to listen and then give her suggestion to the alpha.
The thought to wait had crossed her mind, but as soon as Cavan passed she decided otherwise. With a feline smile she made her movements toward the scarred one. Coming up with a tempting seductive voice. Purrs entwined with her vocals. "Dear Cavan, M'lady is busy, Might you lend me your ear?" She said softly, moving around him on delicate legs. "I think the Haunters are too small a group to be so wide spread just yet. Risen's plans seem farfetched for this time. Do you think we should keep the Haunters in the temple until we are bigger in power? Not only will it keep the children and the rest of us safe, it will ultimately define our pecking order in this pack..." She grew silent to wait for his responce. If he did not approve of it, she doubted Risen would even give it a second thought.
Iota was one of the last to follow in. Looking around for Toxic in the group that had followed them back. When she did not find her at first, she began to look for her mother and siblings...She found her mother, but where was Aurinka, Liekki? Trotting over she almost spilt her question when the lion cub asked her question. Liekki... Dead? She froze in cold sweat at the thought of it. Disbelief coursing through her as her mother's distraught look did not fade.
It was then, at that moment, that every doubt she had in the Haunters vanished. It was the outer world that was the evil. While they went on a hunt to free wolves from human imprisonment, some tiger waltzed in and killed her brother. Or this was her thought. No, No one could be trusted. The Haunters were in the right. That was all she could think of.
Fiery anger burned through her. Her eyes clamped shut as drool began to flood her mouth. Her teeth were clenched so tight she thought they could break- and she didn't care. Inside her she could feel something moving, something raking her mind and pulling her soul in half. Unconsciously she began a deep horrific growl in her throat. Swearing, That tiger, The tiger who had so mercilessly slain her brother, would die.
Deep in thought, only the movement of her mother had been caught and she watched as she left. No, She would not lose another, Full family wise, all she cared for now was her mother. She had a bad feeling about Aurinka, she would not lose her mother. She followed her for her own safety.
Cavan
A rumble of aggrivation woke on the brute's throat as his sleep was disturbed. If it had been a wolf that had bothered him, they would be met with a growl and glistening fangs; but a cat like Rasheetah demanded more respect, and so was offered a toned-down version of his annoyance. The subtle growl died away more as she spoke, though it wasn't because he strained to hear from his single ear. Her words made perfect sense to him, and the idea seemed sound enough.
"You've got a good point there, Rasheetah." Shrugging off the looks of sleepiness, Cavan's good eye flickered from one Haunter to another before settling back on the cheetah, "I'll have you relay the message to the others. All Haunters will reside here for the time being."
Rasheetah
The cheetah offered a graceful low bow with her head then lifted up her crown and began her movement into the middle of the floor. Her growls became loud until she yowled for the others attention. "We have temporary orders to reside in this temple. Shadow Lands are to be evacuated for the night until a plan is advised to Risen." She looked to Sacrifice and Silver Trace, Nodding to the two to round up all the Haunters. Every last one of them except for Alderon who was to take his shift watching the deer.
The two wolves nodded as did Ino in the background, and they took off to collect the members.
Incalia, Krypt, Litharaz & Onslaught
With a face like thunder, Incalia strode into the temple, still cursing the humans for disrupting the Haunter's plans. With fangs just visable, and a low growl rumbling from her throat, it was clear she wasn't in a good mood right now. The wounds she had recieved had healed well, her shoulder scarred from the fight with the stags, and half her ear missing from a confrontation with an unruly doe. Still, her black and tan frame rippled as she padded irratably to the other side of the temple to lay down. Her dark, burning eyes watching the fallen member with little interest. His own stupid fault.
Coming in closely behind his mother, and feeling her anger radiating from her, Onslaught took the opposite direction and lolloped over towards his cub 'brothers'. Grinning recklessly, he stopped to listen to their chatter and was very eager to join in their assault on Leope. With wild eyes, the hybrid pup followed the others towards the adult Lion. The six month old pup sailed through the air, growling playfully, with a hint of aggression, and launched himself at the back of Leope. The growing male hadn't realised he was now developing sharp teeth, and made the mistake of biting down hard on whatever he could grab. It would certainly be a discomfort to the cat.
Litharaz followed his division alphess with a little less anger. Placing himself in the circle around the healers and the injured canine, Lith silently observed the happenings.
Krypt glanced round for Razor as he entered the temple, not once looking at his fallen comrade. When he heard they would be staying here however, he relaxed and slipped quietly over to the wall to rest.
Nymph
Oh lord... she was going to have to share a night with these fools. The blunt hammers of the Haunters. Yes, they were necessary members, but they were her least favorite. She curled a little tighter around Snowfall and Hostage, beginning, once again, to wash both of them and herself down. Just the presence of warriors was enough to make her want to squirm away from any imagined dirt and grime they might carry. But she kept these thoughts to herself, a small purr in her throat to reassure all the pups.
Ynear .+. Shattered .+. Silver Trace .+. Ghoul
Ghoul came in with his coalition and watched as they romped toward the male figure. He smiled, but for once in no mood to play. Passing by Ireshk made him uneasy, and in no mood to frolic. Instead he moved toward the wall and began to lick his fur. Cleaning the white pelt to make him look as snowy as ever.
Ynear looked to Nymph with a smile for the help. Though she saw the discomfort in the co-Mother. She stood and moved closer, leaving Shattered and Silver Trace to rise and move toward the middle of the area and wait as Risen confront the intruder.
"Thank you." Ynear said kindly and laid down near the little ones. They were getting bigger, she could see, though she was unsure if they were ready to move into the divisions. Temptation and Hazard seemed big enough and eager to start their new work. She just wondered if these two were yet.
Nymph
Nypmh smiled at Ynear, having come to know this wolf as a good care-taker and loving personage. She nodded her head to Ynear's thanks, and crooked an imaginary brow at the warriors.
She lowered her voice and turned down her face to Ynear's ear, a purr that served for her laugh present in the low tones. Ah, the blunt weapons of the guild, eh? I only wonder whether they have ever learnt to bathe properly. And she smiled, the tip of her tail twitching in amusement.
But her voice and tone grew serious, saying, What influence they might have on the pups...
