Krypt

The wolf slowly entered the temple, wincing at the pain in his leg, but otherwise alert for any danger that could harm the injured Haunters that followed him. Making sure everyone had arrived safely, Krypt then howled to Quilikahm. They all needed medical aid after the fight with the stags. Krypt was bloodied, with a broken front leg, but otherwise unharmed. When Razor entered, bringing up the rear, Krypt would relax and wait for the deer.

Tyrant

The brute brought in the font the scuffled off to find Quilikahm. Returning shortly with hopefully the deer behind him. It was then that he went of to nap for a little bit, keeping his eyes on the group. He would make sure they were not harmed.

But it was then that he heard faint voices in the depths of the temple. With Malicious and Amnesia. Quickly rising he padded his way down the maze of halls to find them. Leaving the small group together, he knew they were safe in the temple...

Shattered .+. Silver Trace

The two injured females filed in behind Krypt. Shattered had been quietly whining under her breath the whole time. Keeping herself propped up against Silver for she had let both her eyes close tight.

Silver Trace slowly let her comrade down and looked to Krypt with a nod. The let herself lay on the ground, gored leg up. Her nub of a tail was still bleeding and it hurt her very much. Shattered could not find words to say, not even a look for her thanks. She was in to much pain to do anything but lay there and whine. Her head felt as if his antlers were still digging in and gorging around her face. Though he left nothing in her wounds, she had rolled in dirt and it may have started to infect.

Tyrant

Tyrant emerged from the darkness, looking back to make sure Malicious and, especially, Amnesia, was following. Bringing them to the injured group.

Krpyt had broken his leg. Silver Trace laid on the ground with only a quarter of her tail remaining and part of her right hind leg gashed. Shattered laid shaking on the floor. Her head had branch like lacerations, five to be exact. The smallest one came out from her right eye and made its way up. The eye lid was concaved and bleeding badly. "Take your seat." He chuckled at Malicious. Silver looked at him and shook her head then closed her eyes again. "brute." He turned to the intruder. "You will sit with me until the others get back." He smiled deeply, a glinting of humor in his eye.

Amnesia

He followed Tyrant with no hesitation, as he had done before but when he was told that he was to be babysat, the males white hackles stood up a bit but he voiced no words as of yet. His eyes fell upon the injured females and he shook his head. Pain, that was the way of life these days. His eyes turned behind towards where Malicious should be. He didn't like having her out of his sights, with his luck she was going to try and eat him or something.

Quilikahm

She hurried in on her short little legs, trotting after Tyrant. Her first job was to quickly assess the damage done. "I will return shortly with what I need." Luckily, it was spring time and plants were just beginning to emerge. She now had access to most of the plants that were needed, and had them stached in the Temple room that was designated for her use.

She went first to Shattered, who seemed to be in the most agony. She dropped a mouthful of plants on the ground. Her assortment included Comptonia peregrina, Conyza canadensis, and a very tiny amount of Conicum maculatum. She mashed the group of leaves and tubors with her hooves until they formed a pulpy mat of tangled fibers and leaves. Carefully picking up with poultice, she set it gently over Shatterd's face, trying her best not to cause the canine any further pain. "Hold still now..." She whispered, using her daintly little muzzle to nudge the pulp around so that it covered every wound, and was pressed down lightly into the fur and over the eyesocket. The first two plants would help with stopping the bleeding and keeping out infection, although with the dirt in the wounds, Quil was sure she'd have to find more potent antibiotics later. The last herb given was Poisen Hemlock, a deadly herb who's roots were often fatally mistaken for wild carrots. However, Quil had be very careful in her preparation, and was sure the amount she used wouldn't send the wolf into deadly convulsions and paralysis. Instead, it should act like a sedative and take away the most severe of her pain. "No one can clean her wounds. That paste is lethal if it's ingested." The deer warned, turning to look at Silver Trace and Tyrant before looking back to her first patient, "I'll have to change that in a few hours, but it should at least help the pain for now. I'll have more medicine for you later, but right now you should rest and take it easy."

Quil returned to the Temple to gather the next load of herbs for Shattered. Heuchera roots, Humulus shoots, and Linium seeds were crushed up into a poultice. The combination of plants would stop the bleeding, fight infection, promote healing, and help to relieve pain. As with Shattered, Quil carefully applied the pasty mush over Silver's wounds, making sure to cover every ounce of wounded flesh. "I will need to change this every few hours as well. You both must drink a lot of water to help your body recover."

Next was Krypt. Quil didn't need to worry about infection, but a broken leg was still a broken leg. After retrieving some more herbs, she came to him. A pile of comfrey leaves were crushed up with Hedera vines, to form a sturdy, pasty-poultice. She applied this gingerly around the leg, working it in through the fur and against the skin. It would help to encourage the bones to heal faster.

"You may not take well to this, but I would strongly recomend eating these." The deer said, nudging a pile of leaves towards Krypt. Horsetail and grape leaves. "You should also have the cats catch you some fish; maybe mix the leaves with those. If you want your bone to heal quickly, you must provide it with the right nutrients." She explained.

Krypt

The wolf was gladened to see the deer arrive, and after she had sorted out Shattered and Silver, she turned to him. Her words made him shift uncomfortably, and when she revealed the leaves, the wolf's jaw dropped. I have to eat leaves?!...Oh man... Her request about having the cats catch some fish seemed more appealing than dry leaves, so the wolf glanced to Tyrant, Would you mind asking Dulsca or one of the other cats to catch me some fish, Tyrant? It would take me a while to get over to the other Temple with my leg...

Malicious

Malicious limped in behind Amnesia and snorted. These wolves were injured by silly deer. She rolled her eyes and sat down. "Quil! Get over here! A wolfess bit me and I have an infection." Malicious was cross for the moment and extremely impatient. She tapped her claws on the floor, waiting for the healer.

Quilikahm

She gave a slight grin, "If you wish to heal faster, yes you do have to eat those. Mixed with a bit of fish though, they shouldn't be too bad." The deer tried to assure, but she could understand his disdain for plant matter. At the sharp demand of the new arrival, Quil's ears lowered submissively and she dipped her small head down. "I will be right back."

After a few minutes, she tiny hind had returned, with a new array of plants held in her jaws. Ilex venticillata, Iris versicolor, and a small amount of Pulsitilla vulgaris. All three were good for fighting infections and deep wounds. She mashed the concoction up with her hooves, then spread it over Malicious's wound. "See me tomorrow, and I will assess your wound again. If the pain spreads, let me know." Quil backed away from the wolfess then, a bit hesitant to be around her at the moment when her temper seemed so hot.

Malicious

Malicious grunted to Quil, after the hind put whaterver it was on her wound, telling her she was dismissed. She glanced at Amnesia, taking in his full features. Muscular, sly, handsome, and wicked. She liked him and gave the brute a small smile.

Amnesia

He turned to the deer and his eyes came a light as she started to fix everyones wounds. Now this was interesting. The predatory male made no move to attack, but what was the harm in looking? Then his eyes turned to look at Malicious once more. Why was she watching him like that? The male didn't like being observed, and his slightly raised hackles were the proof. He made no noise though, and gave his own dark smirk to Malicious. Cunning little bastard was he.

Malicious

Malicious smiled as his hackles raised. He may be sly, handsom, and all that, but he was a worrywort. She shifted her weight and winked. Amnesia was cunning, but she was better.

Tyrant .+. Silver Trace .+. Shattered

Tyrant watched the body language between the two and rolled his eyes. 'Brother', he thought only, watching as the deer did her work.

Silver trace was still and nodded to the deer when she was done. "Thank you," she said softly, looking at Shattered.

Shattered had not done so well when the deer worked on her. She squirmed and whined, flinching even though she tried to hold as still as she could. It wasn't going to work. But after a few moments, the bandage was on and she held her face against the ground as the herbs took affect. Relaxing a little as the pain was relieved.
