Faded
The Red Wolf walked through the doorway of the temple with a smirk on her face. "Looks like a battle went on in here." She said, almost in a laugh. "Good enough." She looked around at all the shed blood. Her mother always told her not to shed "innocent blood." She didn't care. She liked the thrill of killing. She let out a shrill howl for the Alpha.
Lion
Knowing that Risen was holding a meeting for the leaders at the moment, Lion had self-appointed himself as the Temple's security to make sure there were no interruptions to the assembly.
The big hybrid, with a ruff so thick it looked like a lion's mane, headed instantly for the other's howl. Head and tail high, he came up in front of her. "What is your business here? Be quick, and to the point."
Faded
Faded was in a submissive posture. Her ears were folded and her head was low, and her tail was wagging. "I would be happy if you let me join your pack." She said. "I am willing to fight alongside your pack in a time of war." She stepped down, waiting for his answer.
Lion
The black hybrid did not relax his dominant posture, but his voice was more relenting as he replied, "If you wish to join this pack, you'll have to speak with Risen- but at the moment, she's in a meeting." Lion informed, "If you can prove yourself useful, I'm sure she'll allow you to join. While we're waiting, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? Where you come from, friends and family you have... perhaps any enemies?"
Faded
Faded stood up, but did not wag her tail. She was still in a submissive pose, but did not look happy. "I am Faded, the Red Wolf. I have no friends or family. My family...died...and my friends betrayed me. My only enemies are those who used to love me." She said. A sad look grew upon her face when she spoke of her past, but she continued. "I came here from the southeast after I was banished from my pack. I was taking land that wasn't rightfully mine and I was killing lambs. My mother told me not to, but I didn't care. I wanted it all. I wanted the world. For that, they sent me away. I killed my siblings and my parents. Only one escaped. My brother. My pack tried to kill me and I was outnumbered, so I ran." She paused and sat down again. "I found new friends, but my brother followed me and won my friends over to his side. Now they've made it their goal to kill me." Sorrow could be seen in her eyes. She stood up and howled "I didn't mean to kill them! It just happened!" She cried. She thought being a killer would ruin her chances of being accepted into a pack.
Lion
Silent as he listened to her story, Lion spoke with a softer voice this time, "The desire for power drives a lot of us, and killing... it is natural." Personally, he couldn't picture himself killing his family, but he felt the obligation of consoling this stranger. "If anything, it may fit you perfectly in with this pack. We are fighters, mainly, though we each have our own roles to fullfill." He paused as he heard the faint voices of his older half-sister addressing the others, and sort of wished he were in there with the meeting. But then, someone had to be out here guarding and whatnot. "It shouldn't be much longer now, Faded. Just address Risen respectfully, but show you are worthy at the same time. And don't worry, as long as you are with this pack, you will be safe from your enemies."
Faded
Faded nodded and walked over to the group that Risen was addressing.
