Defiance

Defiance grudgingly stayed behind as his uncle, mother and sister took off after Silver. He had been told to wait ten minutes. If they hadn't returned he was to call for the haunters and when he believed the time was up he let out a howl calling for Senka and Terserk. Defiance knew if his uncle lost his pups to this human his uncle would be uncolsolable and would likely do something rash, perhaps running with jus tthe three of them to this humans land was stupid but Defiance knew better then to stop him.

Tersek & Zanarah

Tersek wasn't far off when his grandson had given the call. The elder wolfdog came bounding into the Temple, twice stumbling as he went, but ultimately making into into the stone complex in decent time. Tail up, he stalked towards Defiance with a face already hardened and hinting at aggression, "What's wrong, Defiance?"

Resting in the shadows of the Temple, Zanarah perked up when Defiance made his call, and then rose to her paws when Tersek came bumbling in. She had been meaning to speak with her leaders as well, but kept her thoughts to herself for the moment, waiting to hear what Defiance had to say first.

Defiance

He waited.Aizen had me wait because he wanted to give her time to reconsider. But its been too long. Silver has taken her two pups Aizen fears to humans. She does this because she fears you and the rest will look down on one of the pups because she has seen how you have treated momo, quinn and Ursa. But they haven't returned which means Silver has left with themhe said.

Senka eyes narrowed.I understand her fear of this however, she should of talked with us before deciding this. This child you speak of will not be looked down upon. But bringing it to a human is bad as this child will not learn how to compensate for what ever disability she has in the hands of a human. We can train them to be just as good as their father if they are actually capable of doing that. Did you see the direction they went. She asked.

Defiance nodded.I didHe said.

Senka looked around.terserk I will go with Defiance you round up a few of the others. There is no waiting if we wanted to do this without little blood shedShe said standing up.

Tersek & Others

Rage built quickly in Tersek's glassy eyes, "She took them to that human?!" The old wolfdog had yet to learn that his granddaughter suffered from a birth defect, so careful was Silver Fyre to keep her child concealed from the pack. Regardless of her strengths or weaknesses though, she was a Haunter, and as he'd rallied the pack once to rescue Momo, Cynical and Caritha would be no different. "That human-loving worm! She will pay for this betrayal." Almost distractedly, he'd nodded to Senka, and while she prepared to follow Defiance, he howled a deep note, ordering all able-bodied Haunters to the Temple.

Zanarah stepped up immediately. She would wait until after this rescue to share her concerns.

Velvet and Leomar weren't long in responding, each big cat entering the Temple in short order.

Blackmist, Lupanare, and Saulk all heeded the call as well, though Lupa appeared preoccupied and hung back a little to speak with her son as the others gathered.

Cedarwood and Nightshade were at the tail end of the incoming Haunters, with Cedarwood gliding in through the door, and clattering to a landing just a few yards from Tersek, while Nightshade strode carefully in, angling his sizeable antlers so that wouldn't clang against the stone entryway.

Defiance

Defiance headed off fast Senka on his heels.

Menace came over.

Tersek & Others

They weren't all here yet, but Tersek couldn't afford to wait. His grizzled fur still bristled, he addressed the gathered Haunters with venom still dripping from his voice, "Silver Fyre has betrayed us, and is trying to take two of our children to the humans. Our mission is to get Caritha and Cynical back - Silver Fyre is to be killed on sight, along with any human that dares defy us!" His words rose as he went, ending in a terrible snarl at the end.

With a harsh nod, he signaled the group to head out. Tersek himself was already sprinting for the door, forcing Cedarwood to take flight hastily to avoid getting run over by the mob of animals now reversing direction for the exit. In a great thunder of paws and hooves, the Haunters moved from the Temple, across the moat, and out into the wilds, heading after the fresh scent of Momo, Ursa, and Aizen.
