Shetan
My massive paws carried my body into the Ruins. I lashed out my tail, and lifted my maw to the air. I scented something - ah. Some wolves. They would make a nice lunch I thought. Little did I know, these were the Shadow Haunters that I had heard about.
I entered, my monstrous Siberian Tiger frame swaying with confidence. I had broken free not long ago from my encagement. I wanted blood to fill my mouth. I wanted power to satisfy my hunger. Who was the Shetan you once knew? Try and find him, because he's not here anymore.
I stopped in my tracks as I saw the wolves and canines. I stared in admiration, my sapphire pools alight with a dark blue flame. I would love to be one of them.
I said nothing. All I did was wait. Eventually someone would come and try and shoo me off. That would be when I would announce I wanted to join. Why would they refuse? They could use a tiger like me.

The battle raging in the Ruins was not being watched by just the tiger. Oh no, another being was silently stalking towards the onslaught with the same intentions as Shetan. The only difference being, Risen might find his offer a bit more...interesting. You see Krypt was not just a wolf, coming to join the powerful Haunters, Krypt was here to get revenge on his family, especially his father of which she would know all too well.
Krypt had left his brothers, Damaged and Jagged at the Prairie, and had ran to the Ruins the instant their back was turned. He was here to gain acceptance to the Haunters, his knowledge could be the un-doing of that certain "father". Now your wondering, who is his father, why would Risen be so interested in him? You see, Krypt's father is none other, than the alpha of Aspen Grove. Vestige.
Vestige had almost killed Risen in a huge fight at the Eskers, and Krypt had no doubt that she would want him dead. So, That was why Krypt was here. After being teased, tormented and un-loved as a pup, the heartless Krypt had been born, and with his moody and poisonous demenour, came his appetite for revenge against his family. Who better than to help him in his quest than Risen. His only hope was that she didn't think he was a spy and get the Haunters to kill him.
The wolf approached Shetan, with no expression on his face. Krypt was impressed at the size and power of the cat but didn't let it show. He sauntered up in an arrogant way, lifting his head slightly. He came to a halt a few feet from the tiger, and cast his gaze to the battle. Your here to join them are you? So am I. After a short pause, the wolf lifted his gaze from the fight and looked the tiger right in the eye with a smirk. I'm Krypt.
Shetan
I turned my dial to the smaller being and dipped it. If you wanted to get someone on your side, you have to respect them, don't you? You have to treat them as your equal - which at most times they are. He flicked his tail and lifted his dial back to the usual place it stood.
My eyes didn't move as I watched the raging battle. I would soon be one of them...at least I hoped. My auds were pricked to hear every little sound. I turned my hole-burning gaze to the wolf. As he announced his name to me, I nodded.
"Yes, I am. " I paused, turning my fram to face the wolf head-on. "I'm Shetan. Once kind, now deadly. Be careful where you step."
I winced, should I have said 'Once kind, now deadly'? It made me sound almost weak. I hoped that Krypt wouldn't take it the wrong way. If he did and thought I was weak, he was making a big mistake
K.rypt
Ah respect, Indeed it was true, respect could win you wars in this world. By that I mean, you would have more allies, more creatures to fight with you, not against you.
Seeing as Shetan had shown him respect, Krypt felt obliged to do the same. Dipping his head slightly, the wolf's gaze dropped from the tigers only for an instant before he lifted his head. The same cocky smirk materialised on his face as the words "Once kind, now deadly. Be careful where you step" came from Shetan. Krypt wanted to laugh, but controlled himself and just simply nodded. Shetan wouldn't notice that Krypt found his words amusing, as the wolf could hide his feelings well, as he did now. I'll keep that in mind.
He didn't show any sort of fear when Shetan announced that he was deadly, Krypt knew that felines were very powerful, but the shell that Krypt had built around him was one of arrogance and strength. The wolf was very powerful, at least he thought he was, infact out of his three brothers he was the "weakest". Not to say he was weak, he just wasn't as big as the Damaged and Jagged. He's creamy white, with small paws and a lean build. More of a runner than a fighter, but Krypt had built up muscle so was quite a challenge to most other predators. Krypt's peircing jet black eyes moved from Shetan to the battle below. Amazing how so much power can be in one pack isn't it? I just hope they don't think I'm a pushover. I'm far from it. Krypt sighed. Anyway, He looked back to the tiger. Do you have family round here, or have you only just arrived?
Rasheetah
From the shadows came a soft yowling. Seeing the tiger and new wolf in the land. Her piercing yellow eyes gazing strong through the shrowded black mist of shadows. Her strides were more like struts as the lanky cat born herself from the darkness within the fight. Her fur was ruffled, her tongue decored her lips in proof that she had been fighting. She thought the battle was over, but two had arrived, were they against her?
Black tipped ears quickly layed defencively against her head, lowering her neck in defence and then raising it tall with pride. Tear marks flashing themselves in warning and in strength. "I am Rasheetah, Leader of the Cat Division. Risen is currently busy. May I ask what you are doing here?" The cheetah's words were spoken deep, defensive. She was ready to defend herself once again. Tigers.... they had been against her in this battle, but she knew it was just because they were sided with the opposing Betrayal. She hoped this tiger was not like them. She didn't let her concern show as strong as she felt it. She did make it clear, however, that she would attack if they ment any threat to the pack.
K.rypt
Krypt had been waiting for the tiger's reply, when another scent came to him. Another cat. Hmmm. The yowl alerted the wolf to where the cat was, and so he spun round to face her. He had seen her somewhere, she had been involved with the fight. She was with the Haunters. A small smirk appeared on his face, lifting his head slightly in arrogance. The defensive attitude of the cheetah made Krypt realise that himself and the tiger must look like they were here to fight. Relaxing his posture in a non-threatening way, Krypt dipped his head in respect to the Cat leader. I, we, are here to join the Shadow Haunters.
Shetan
I nodded, my eyes now transfixed on the battle. My tail lashed back and forth, and I pawed the ground with my massive, ivory paws. I growled a bit a Krypt, because I needed to at someone. He'll learn never to take it personally.
I have no family. They all died when I was only a cub.
My vocals were strong, and I did not show any sign of sorrow. Maybe it was better that I not only had any siblings and I was an orphan. I would achieve more in the quest for power. I turned my dial to the approaching one.
Greetings. Was what came out of my mouth politely.
Rasheetah .+. Risen
Uphold her eyes, looking with a burning gaze of strength and power to those who stood before her. Her vision seeming to drift around them to find flaws in their meanings but behold, she found none. It would have been a disaster for anymore to come slithering unseen and attacking without warning. Many were hurt and injured, and needed the help of a healer. Neither of these two looked the part or a healer.
Her voice came softly now in booms of demand. “Tell me first, what are your names? Do you believe you have the strength to be apart of this…” Her words were cut by a devilish snarl. “Rasheetah, who are these intruders?” The tiny gray female staggered out into the sunlight near the two. Piercing yellow eyes glowing in anger and demonic joy looked up to the two the cat leader was speaking with. She had won, but two more to fight would be no problem in her eyes.
The lanky cat stood back and sat down with more grace than a queen. “ They have not given me their names yet mistress. I was asking them of their names when you approached. They would like to join…” The little wolf looked up to the two. Risen only stood about 2’4” to her back and only weighed 60 pounds. She gave a devilish expression however, proving she was not one to piss off. Slowly her muzzle opened, revealing the blood of her opponent, speaking with the deadly hiss of ones last breath. “I am Risen, Daughter of Vicious and Fallen. Alpha of the Shadow Haunters. Tell me, what are your names? Do you believe this is the…. Organization, for you.? We are an Army, a family for those to fear. Do you wish to be feared?” Her grin turned and curled but she let it soften as to not scare off possible profits.
Shetan
I nodded at Raseetah, may tail flicking and my gaze boring into the abyss of nowhere. My auds snapped me back to reality as I heard her question.
"How Rude of m-"
I too was cut off by the devilish snarl of the approaching wolf. I stepped back, my paws sliding against the packed ground where my build stood. I licked my chops. At last, the alphess of the Shadow Haunters. At last. I dipped my head in a respectful manner as I always did. My ivory auds stayed perked as I listened intently to her words.
"My dubbance is Shetan."
The words slipped easily out of my mouth, for it had been said too many times. Over and over, each time I met another one in this valley. I listened once more and considered her words more deeply this time.
"I wish for my name to be spoked on the tounges of others, long after I have disappeared from the face of this planet in which we live on. I want others who fear me to quiver at the sound of my name alone."
I spoke darkly. Yes, of course I wanted to join this pack. But still, I didn't want to be a mesely member. I wished for more. More power. Maybe a leader of a division.
Krypt
Krypt just watched the cheetah, waiting to hear all of what she had to say, however she was interupted by the person this wolf wanted to see. Risen. He dipped his head in respect to the alphess, lowering his body and loosing his cocky attitude. Still, he looked her in the eyes. He had nothing to fear, after al he wasn't part of the pack; yet.
I wish for power, to be feared by all. Krypt paused, a slow smirk slithering onto his jaws. I also have something I want to tell you Risen. I am Krypt, Son of Vestige and Lady. Now, don't attack me, for I hate them both more than anything in this world. I want revenge on my father Risen, as do you. What better way than to slaughter him than by the jaws of his enemy and son.
The fires that ignited in Krypt's eyes as he spoke were enough to show that he had been planning this for a long time. The wolf just looked at the alpha, tightening his muscles slightly incase of any attack.
Incalia
Behind Krypt and Shetan, a figure could be seen. She was big, double the size of the alphess, and she wasn't about to be messed around. Approaching Risen, Incalia's posture was of dominance. She ignored the tiger and the wolf, her gaze on Risen. She stopped a few feet away, giving a dip of the head to the Cat Division leader and the alphess. Hello Risen, I bring a new member of my division. His name's Kaos. He was interested in leading my sub-pack with me. I told him to come with me to speak to you. Personally I would prefer to have Kaos, as I believe Litharaz would have trouble controlling the pack later as he's not as...powerful as Kaos. However, It's your choice. The Hybrid sub-pack leader stepped back a bit, looking back to see if Kaos had followed.
KAOS
The huge bulk of a hybrid took long, striding steps as he followed suit behind Incalia. So, this was the base? Quite an interesting place, as interesting as the ones whom resided here. Yes, he was eager to see how things worked around here, but he didn't give any hints to it.
Kaos came up by the other hybrid, though back a bit more. His multicolored eyes took in the sight of a wolf and a tiger, and he grew somewhat curious of them. However, he shoved the thought aside and looked to the one known as Risen. His eyes and posture were unwavering, still and silent. His head and tail were held fairly high, mostly out of his own pride. He knew his limits, though.
Standing there, he listened intently, wondering what this Risen would say.
KAOS
simply C H A O T I C
• My original home was somewhere I loathed
• My enjoyments are ripping humans to shreds and being by myself, if you must know
• I see a potential meal in anyone and everyone
• My occupation had been serving the humans as a pit fighter
• My lifestyle once consisted of torture, suffer, fight, repeat
• My heart belongs to absolutely no one
• I only serve the Shadow Haunters, and that's how it goes
• I've no friends nor family, and like it that way
• I've many enemies, but none you need to know
Risen .+. Rasheetah
Fiery yellow orbs glistened in the sun. Reflecting the fiery pits of her soul as she raised her head to the others. Her tail higher than the rest. She simply nodded a small bow to both Shetan and K.rypt. To Shetan, she spoke in a mono-tone, the tone she had grown up with. "You are to live with the big cats division. Unless you wish to live amongst another creature. After the big cats division gets large enough. If you wish, and prove you are strong enough, you may become a leader of a seperate division. Since you have senioraty over the rest."
Cold eyes turned to K.rypt. Letting a low hiss slither out from between revealed teeth. She saw the fire in his eyes, but how could she tell?"And how do we know for sure that you are not just a spy for the reched bastard?" the last part was a gurgeling growl. The sign of the upmost-bitter hatred.
Before the wolf could answer, another came up. Incalia and Kaos brought a brighter look into the alpha's eyes. Not so deadly. "Incalia, you are the lead of your own division. If you wish Kao's to reign over Litharaz, by all means, let it be so." She nodded to the male hybrid. Then turned her attention back to her enemy's son.
Rasheetah sat elegantly, watching the group gather. She smiled at the power between them all. None of them were weak. "You will be one of the higher in our group Shetan, the second leader is a wolf called Nachi. And she will probably be busy with her.. orphans.." She smild at the thought of different cubs running around their dens. She liked children as well, but she could only tolerate them for so long. Nachi would take care of them under her protection. "Any orphan cubs found, of all creature..." "Canine or feline" Corrected Risen, unless Nachi didn't mind others. Rasheetah continued, "are to be sent to Nachi, she is residing in the cat division." She spoke to the others as well. Knowing most probably would not like little ones in their way if they do not belong to them.
Krypt
Krypt wasn't too surprised at Risen's response. Trying to think of a reason, he listened to the surrounding conversation. He didn't really understand everything that was going on, but at that particular moment he didn't have to. Krypt just maintained a solemn attitude, his face showing no emotion, as he began to try and explain why he was here, why he could be trusted. I am not a spy for him, I can give you many reasons for me being here, for me wanting revenge on him. I agree he is a bastard, as a pup he would always show hate to me, ignore me, abuse me. So, I've always hated him, my brothers, my mother - who never tried to stop it, and my sisters. My father doesn't even know I'm here, he doesn't know I'm in the valley. What a horrible surprise it will be to find his son with his enemy? He paused hoping that was enough, but knowing it probably wasn't. That was really all he wanted revenge for, a bad childhood, from which he had grown into this heartless killing machine. He had become more and more angry as he told her of his childhood, and know stood with hackles raised and a glimmer of his sharp teeth from his jaws.
Risen
"Incalia, you are the lead of your own division. If you wish Kao's to reign over Litharaz, by all means, let it be so. That is, Litharaz agrees and if Kaos believes he is strong enough. Though he seems to be quite strong by appearance. Will you hold up the responsibility?"
Shetan
I nodded, settling down. I had been accepted easily, but Krypt was having a hard time. I flicked my tail, not really taking notice. I was sure that Krypt would get in. I lowered my dial, my pools still trained on Risen and Rasheeta. My icy pools then turned to Koas, and then back to Rasheeta as she spoke. My auds twitched as I listened, and I nodded. I didn't quite know what to say, so nothing came out of my ivory maw.
Incalia
The sub-alphess nodded, and turned round to face Kaos. With a half smile, Incalia nodded. Then your my new second in command Kaos. Now, you can either go back to the pack land or go and find some other hybrids and dogs to join our division. After all whats the point in leading if you've got no-one to lead?
Incalia nodded her head again to Risen, before turning to leave the Ruins, in search of new pack members. However her attention was caught by Cavan, so she changed direction towards him.
Risen .+. Rasheetah .+. Razor
Risen cared not for what the pathetic little wolf had to say. His past, pft, but she could not judge him just for his father, she knew that. "I am aware you are not your father, What happened in your past is there to spur you on. Don't let that go. You will be accepted, under the account that you will be responcible to kill Vestige. Understand? For now, I do not trust you enough to even say you have a chance to lead a division. When you prove your worth by distroying that fool then you will become your own leader. For now, You will live with Razor, My half brother, at Sapphire Brooks." She paused, letting all the new info sink into the new members mind. " Remember, to me, death is the easy way out. It's much worse if you betray us." She gave a wicked grin. "Welcome to the Shadow Haunters." With that she dismissed them and turned around to speak with Cavan.
Rasheetah watched and listened quietly. Never interupting. When the alphess was through, she spoke to Shetan in a commander like voice. "Come, we will go to the lands now." She gave a nod and began to walk toward the Hidden Meadows. There were a few there she was going to greet.
Razor came up, A black wolf weighing in at 155 pounds nodded in greeting to the wolf. "I'm sure we will fight on your fathers lands shortly." He was speaking of course, about his half sister Sacrifice and her encounter. If the pups asked about their mother, she would return to the lands with back up. Razor, his division, and a few others.
Krypt
Krypt remained silent throught Risen's speech, nodding only whe appropriate. Kill his father? That's exactly what he was here to do. The wolf watched Razor appear. Risen's half brother was a lot larger than Krypt, and so the wolf remained in a submissive manner. At least until they had left the Ruins. Krypt nodded, I should hope so and when we do, he's as good as dead.
