Ynear
Ynear came in, now that the baton of ally cubs was passed to her, followed by five Tiger kittens. She had a smile planted on her face. She was starting to get the same fascination about cats that she so saw her mother admire. They were so large, so strong, so agile, nothing a wolf could even compete with one on one. And to know that your 'children' were going to be fighting next to them made it all the more exillerating.
As she submersed in the water she turned to the cubs. "I know it's wet but it's cool and will temporarily let you escape the heat. Come in and hang on me until we get to the other side." She instructed, waited until all she could handle and made her way over until the majority, if not all, were at the temple steps.
When they were all over she led them up the stair case and to the balcony with the others. Giving a welcome nod back to Nymph to let her know of her re-arrival. "Children, these are the offspring of our Tiger allies, Majikan and Enshalla. They wish to meet you for in the future you will be fighting together, side by side. And when you become old enough to leave the Mothers and train with the warriors, they may even go off to train with you." It was a maybe, and she made sure to stress the word.
Vensaii, Ginger, Huerosan, Geinah, Bergamot, Dawn, & Donte
One of the larger pups, Huerosan was a unique mix of features from his parents. He also carried the traditional black coat of his great-great-great grandparents, with a a few patches of tan. His tail was quite distinctive, having long, feathery fur like the tervuren's. "I can't wait till we get to train!" He yipped with enthusiasm, finding more interest in that prospect, rather than with the new cubs.
Bergamot, a touch smaller than Huerosan, came forward to sniff noses with the cubs. His tail wagged a bit, genuinely curious about the tigers.
Significantly smaller than most of the others, Geinah had a very bold attitude that was reminiscent of her mother's. "Mother Ynear, when will we get to train?" She asked, after giving the cubs a quick look-over.
Dawning Eclipse wagged her tail when Ynear approached, then went right in to investigate the cubs. "Hiya! I'm Dawn." She introduced.
Donte wasn't quite sure about things yet. He was still badly confused about the whole battle. And despite how hard he sniffed around, he couldn't find any scent that was very familiar. With pinned ears, the hybrid pup sat in the far corner by himself.
Vensaii and Ginger, Dulsca's newest cubs, clambered towards the others. The little lions were curious about anything and everything they could reach, and eagerly mingled in with the other cats.
Tamaka/Koray/Tama/Devaki/Estelle
The cubs followed Ynear all the way to the balcony, eager to make new friends. Devaki was the first to speak up. She looked around at the Shadow Haunter children and smiled. "I am Devaki." The young female said. She was quite a sight, with an orange body but a blue-gray face and tail.
The brothers were next. "I'm Tamaka!" The eldest said. "And I'm Koray!" The younger one exclaimed.
Tama was by far the largest and strongest, but very laid back as well. "I am Tama. I look forward to fighting alongside you, my brothers and sisters."
Estelle opened her mouth to speak when she heard Dawn, but the disabled cub said nothing. Her eyes were blank, staring off into the distance. Tama looked down at the runt and spoke for her. "This is my sister, Estelle. She doesn't see or speak." Estelle looked exactly like her father, blue-gray in coloration.
Ardeth & Kamari
Ardeth's dark brown eyes met the new cubs with less enthusiasm as the others, but he pulled himself up from his resting spot to come and investigate. One of the taller pups, his light multi-tonal coat stood out against the darkness of the temple. Taking a place beside his brother, Huerosan, the hybrid smiled placidly. "I'm Ardeth, and this is my sister, Kamari and my brother Huerosan."
Kamari came forward at her name to stand beside her siblings. She was the smallest of the litter, but was definately not a push-over. She was only slightly smaller than her brothers. The oil black coat with tan markings blended well with the darkness, but the big difference about her was her eyes. One blue, one hazelnut, a mutation from her fathers genes. "We're the offspring of Tersek and Incalia." And what a batch their parents had created.
Nymph
She raised her ebony form from the ground, giving Ynear a smile as she moved forward. And I'm Mother Nymph, kits. Welcome. It had been so long since they'd had feline cubs here that she'd forgotten that they started out bigger than pups. Her eyes roved over the newcome little ones, memorizing and placing smell with name with coat color.
Tumult; Fragile Moment; Havik; Demolition
Tumult's pale yellow eyes shifted for a moment as he awoke from a nice nap. Looking up to the tiger cubs he gave a cautious growl before arising to his feet and moving toward them. His white muzzle lifted up, feeling it was his duty to take lead. "Hello, My name is Tumult, Son of Cavan and Risen." Oh and how proud he was to say that. A demon's grin spread across his face. "Nice to meet you." He said, forcing somewhat of a more kind smile.
Moment walked up next to her bother with a less than amused look to the sibling. "Don't scare them off, they aren't adults." She mumbled to him then offered them a kind smile. "Hello there, My name is Fragile Moment, I am the daughter of Cavan and Risen. Please though, Call me Moment. I'm glad to meet you." She said gently. Her yellow eyes looking calmly at the other though it was apparent only one of her eyes were looking at them while the other seemed distant. As well as only one ear perked up to the voices, leaving the other limp. Her body was pure black.
Havik lumbered up on his stocky legs. Dark eyes looking down at the tiger cubs. He didn't speak, just gave a nod, though was able to force out the name "Havik" And then all was silent as he stared at the children. To him, being around cats was normal, making friends with felines would have somewhere else been deemed strange, but to him, he did not mind at all.
Demolition was the boisterous on. Romping up and sliding to a halt in front of Devaki. "My name is Demolition. Proud son of Kaos and Wither. So which one of you guys think you will be strong enough to keep up with me in war?!" He smiled, brown black tail wagging violently in the air.
[]Riot[]Anathema[]Violence[]Ynear[]
A dark gray pup came up through the crowed, Evenly pushing her way through to get to the front and see the new playmates. Riot smiled, gray tail wagging. A dark smile planted upon her lips, "Well hello there kitties." She said, jagged puppy teeth showing clearly before she turned to Ynear. "If we train with them, do we get to be as harsh with them as we are each other?" Asked the darkly little female. Her body was short and well muscled, speed would not be her ally but brute strength would always be there for her.
There was a moment of silence and quietness from the handicap pup. She sat there with her eyes open, head and body unmoving as if she had temporarily died. When Ynear showed up, the broken puppy lifted her head. A small gurgling rumble could be heard until the scent of the wolf had wafted over to her and her tail began to wag. Although now there was new smells, five new smells to be exact. She could point out each of them, three males, two females. How could she tell, the hormones that surrounded them told their every physical secret; Including their personalities and current moods.
Violence moved up next, his black coat shifting as he moved next to his sister, eyes glaring at the others. "I suppose since you introduced your handicap, I'll introduce ours. Her name is Anathema, She doesn't speak nor see...." To her name, Anathema surprisingly perked her head. But it wasn't the sound she was concentrating on. Ynear had tried to work with the pup, sitting next to her and poking her with her nose every time she said her name. Instead of a name, she felt vibrations. Rough, pause, rough, soft, smooth, hmm-pause, rough. That was her name.
Violence now moved away from his younger sibling and moved toward the group. "And my name is Violence. Both me and my sister are children of Razor and Monarda." Amber orbs searched over Tama. As if taking him in as a whole. A large fellow, almost too polite, but it wasn't Violence place to judge. "Welcome to the Haunter's Temple" He said, almost unwelcoming, but it stayed along the lines of not amused.
Ynear gave off a silent sigh to how the children behaved, they were just acting tough, she understood that. It was for their own health that she didn't go against it. You had to be strong to survive. She moved over near Nymph before a violent attack of sneezes came at her. She backed away and shook her head, then looked up with watering eyes. "Quil...." She whimpered out. The fit had cause a major migraine and she was now ready to accept some help for this 'cold' of hers.
Devaki
The two brother tigers and three sister tigers watched as the other children introduced themselves. Then came Demolition. "Oh, yes." Devaki replied playfully, "We can keep up with you and more. In fact, we'll be five steps ahead of you!"
Nymph
Nymph's eyes twitched to Anathema as the pup responded to her name, but she said nothing. Maybe... this was a good sign.
It wasn't until Ynear came to her that she even said anything. Quilikahm? I bet I could send for her... she's really a keen thing, you know.
[] Demolition [] Ynear [] Fragile Moment [] Tumult []
Demolitions smile increased as Devaki spoke up for the group. "Right, I think you will find me a worthy wolf to fight along side." He boasted as his chest filled with air to make him look stronger. "I don't doubt some of you will be as strong as me but, y'know." He smiled, Tumult looked at the larger pup with a displeased look then hit him across the head with his fore-paw. "Idiot." Demolition growled somewhat then tackled Tumult onto the ground and the odd pair of wolf pups began to fight. Moment just looked down upon them and sighed. "Mind them not, they are boys, I assume that is what boys do..." She looked at devaki, "I need to ask mother If I'm really going to be one to fight or if I'm going to be useful in another field, so I don't know if I'm going to be along side you in war." She spoke as gentle as ever. Her eyes seeming to hide a flash when she looked to the handicap pup move.
Slowly she leaned in to whisper something to Devaki. "Unlike your handicap, I think ours may be deaf as well. She doesn't seem to respond to noise, and this is the first time ever I've seen her perk up to her name. Did yours do that as well? Take a while to learn what her name was?" She was quiet for a moment before returning to her position just in front of the cats.
Ynear shook her head to rid her nose of what was disabling her to breath. Then she nodded, "Aye, that she is." She said softly, more for her own headache than out of pure kindness.
Nymph
Nymph gave her soft eyes to Ynear for a moment, before speaking again. Well, stay here and mind the pups. I won't be gone long.
And she heaved her ebony bod into the water, swimming across and shaking throughly as she headed for the main temple.
Devaki
Devaki watched the boys for a while before looking at Moment. "We'll do all sorts of things, I think. But mostly fighting. Even Estelle can fight with our help. In fact, she can hear things that we cannot." She stated plainly.
Tamaka and Koray joined in in the fight, batting and biting wherever they could.
Devaki listened solemnly to Moment's next words. "Estelle has never perked up to her name before. We assume that she may have something neuro...something wrong with her brain. Maybe she has trouble processing thoughts. And you have to touch her when you're talking to her. Otherwise, she'll think you're talking to somebody else." She spoke in the same quiet voice.
Fragile Moment
The tiny wolf pup nodded to the other. "I am sorry, as long as she can fight and survives she is very much wanted in the world though. I am not sure if Anathema can even fight, but then again, she is just a mute pup. I don't even know how to communicate with her." She sighed as she looked to Anathema.
The black pup stood up and ambled toward Moment and Devaki. She could feel the rhythm of her name being spoken in the direction and decided to figure out their scents to become more accustom to them. Lifeless eyes searched about as her nose poked into Devaki's chest. She gave a loud and rather exasperated exhale of air. Then bowed her head, and lifted her tail, wagging it three times before letting it fall.
Moment was taken aback by the display and smiled. "I think she just introduced herself..." She smirked.
Devaki
Devaki shook her head. "My mother said that everyone has a purpose. Not just those with perfect senses. She told me that we are all here for a reason." She informed, just as Anathema ran into her. She purred and rubbed against the pup, as a way of forgiving her.
Estelle listened to the sound of Anathema and smiled. She is like me. She thought happily, twitching her tail contently.
