Risen .+. Hestier

Clouds shifted in the sky as a soft breeze washed over the land. The sun was setting, tainting the world a deep orange as the day began its end. The birds were starting to search for their homes, and their places in the trees for the darkness of night. The sounds flooded across the area: playing cubs; playing water reptiles; and the other wildlife that continued on around them. It was peaceful, for the moment, but there a fight raging in their enemies land.

Shifting uneasily, Risen tried to get some rest, but she couldn’t relax herself enough. Her eyes searching across the land, the waters, the boundaries of her terra, what was this feeling? She gave a soft uneasy growl as Tumult approached his mother. ”Is something the matter?” Risen snarled and turned to her son with sharp eyes. ”I sense something.” She growled.

There was a faint patter of feet, both of the Haunter strategists looked up in the direction it was coming from, but the intruder had yet to reveal himself. Risen grew anxiously ”Show yourself!” And with her demand, Hestier stepped out of the bushes and stared at her, a strong look upon his maw as every hair on Risen stood at end. ”Crucified!” She snarled, her anger picking her up from her rest. ”What are you doing here! Get out now before I kill you!” She leaped from her boulder, but stumbled a bit with her injuries. The alpha looked up at him with her father’s yellow eyes. ”So you are Risen, hm?” The white beast said casually. Risen paused for a moment and laughed, ”Oh, right, you’re um… Hester..” The brute growled. ”Hestier, Miss Risen.”. There was a moments pause as Risen looked him over. ”I hope you know you are not on good terms with the Haunters, What is it that you want?

Hestier looked off toward Dima’s temple, then back to Risen. ”I wish to be apart of your pack, Risen. I have never met you before, nor have done any wrong to you, why am I on bad terms.” There was a deadly snarl that rose from the females voice. ”You have been an enemy of ours for a long time dear boy.” “That was Crucified, not I” Risen cackled for a moment, ”True” Her eyes flitted to Tumult, who stood there quietly. ”Tell me,” She said, looking at the others while talking to Hestier. ”Do you remember Fallen?” The brute’s head lifted for a moment, ”I have never heard that name, who was she?” Risen smiled, ”A wench,” Her eyes turned back to her brother. ”How about we make a deal. You are not allowed to fight in our fights, you are not allowed to hunt with us…. How about you do the same thing as another brute: Windsong.” She smiled greatly, liking this idea. ”Yes, you go around and breed with our enemy, then steal the pups and bring them to us. We need warriors, and if the females are pregnant, they will not be able to fight back.” Hestier moaned a bit. Thinking it over in his head. ”Fine…” He nodded, and Risen’s smile increased, ”Welcome to the Shadow Haunters…. Hestier.
