Dima
Walking on land wasn't his cup of tea, but the idea of living with a pack and fighting... that was something of interest to the five-year-old alligator. After swimming through Pike's Lake from Galar's Marsh, Dima navigated his way up Requiem's River until he found the inlet for the massive stream that fed out of the Breve Ridges. From there, he continued up stream until he spotted the Ruins rising up in the higher hills. And then came the part he didn't like... getting out of the water and climbing.
Walking with his belly off the ground was slow-going, but the cold made it ten times worse. He didn't mind the cold for how it felt, but he hated how it slowed him down so much. It took nearly two hours and a lot of resting before the gator made it to the Ruins. From there, he worked his way around the human-shaped obstacles until he found a decent little stream. Following that down past the main temple, Dima discovered a good-sized area that was mostly level. Better yet, it was bordered on most sides by either stone walls or higher terraces. And there was a little temple smack-dab in the center of it all.
The next few hours, aside from a lot of resting, involved picking up rocks and dumping them into the creek. Slowly, a dam was being formed. Sticks and evergreen vegetation was mashed into the crevices, along with what mud he could find in the otherwise rock and stone dominated creekbed. As Dima worked, the water slowly began to backfill the acre of area that he had chosen. Inch by inch, the waters rose until Dima found himself too exhausted to continue.
Swimming towards the temple, Dima climbed up onto a stone that lay partially submerged in the water. Spreading his claws out, or what had had of them, the alligator took a much-needed sleep as he basked in the sun's rays.
Villian
Blackened beasts danced along the walls and trees as Villian entered the terrain Dima had found. He was fascinated by what had been constructed and he found himself walking in the water of Dima's home. He let the water rise to bearly lick his belly and he stood in complete awe. "My my Dima, you have made yourself such a wonderful home." He called out. The sound of his voice booming through the water as it was magnified by the molecules. He looked around for the aligator now. If he could be seen, he would bring Risen to come see what had been done. He had a feeling she would love to hear this news.
Dima
Slipping from his basking pillar after an energizing sun-bath and rest, the alligator entered the chilled waters. With his head above the water's surface, the gator glided towards Villian with a bit of a smug look resting in his eyes gold-speckled eyes. "Thanks. It was quite a load of work, but I think it paid off nicely." He replied, letting his gaze roam over the surrounding landscape before falling turning back up to the wolf, "I have to compliment you and your leader for picking out such an... an intersting location to live. The land is so strange... I've never seen such rock formations before." Since he had never seen a building or any human structure aside from boats, Dima had no concept of what these structure were, or that humans had created them.
Orinoco
The Yacare Caiman followed Dima's tracks into the temple. "Nice." She said, looking around just outside the doorway. "May I come in?" She looked down at the water. She wasn't ready to be told to go home after walking a long way over here.
Villain
Ebon brute stared down at alligator with a pleasant grin plastered upon a wicked face. "I see you like it in here, I think it is is magnificent." He continued to gaze around until he heard the voice behind him. He turned and wagged his tail, an odd sight: A wolf wagging it's tail to a gator. "Well hello there, I'm sure you may if Dima sees it fit. If you want I shall retrieve Risen and let her see what a spectacular sight you have made." He turned and high tailed it out of the pool.
Moments later a silver wolf lead in front of Villain. As she approached her golden eyes flickered at the sight of two gators on her land. She turned with Bristling fur to Villain. " Will they turn against us?" She scowled and turned back to the gators. "I am Risen, Daughter of Vicious and Fallen, Alpha of the Shadow Haunters. Tell me. Do you think you can help this pack? If we fight will you fight with us? And what else can you do but fight." Villain stepped up and wagged his tail some more. "They are strong Mistress. I see the muscles in them." Risen snarled and Villain backed down a bit. "I see their strength! But in mobile fights they will be of no help!" Villain took the brave step to talk back. "But they can help prote.." Risen's features contorted even more now. "SILENCE!" Her hackles had risen as if a miniature bomb had explided within her at the word. Villain backed away slightly, moving closer to Orinoco. Risen panted and turned to the gator. Eyes narrowed. "Now, -what- else can you do." Her words were cold and bitter. Searching for some useful information.
Dima
Showing an alligator-grin with happily squinted eyes, Dima looked up to Orinco, "I'm glad you made it, come on in!" He'd gladly allow any females alligators or otherwise, into his high-rise domain.
Before he could rightly introduce the caimen to his home, or continue his talk with Villian, a second wolf arrived. "I am Dima, survivor of two from my clutch." He would have given his mother's name, but she had been killed by humans before his hatching, so he gave the next most revelent information. "If you ever need to hold hostages, or safeguard weak members, this temple will be perfect. No land creature can swim these waters faster than me." The alligator replied confidently. The temple was entirely surrounded by water, forcing any land creatures for a swim if the wanted to reach the temple. "I much prefere to fight in the water, but I can run at a good speed on land for a short time. If absolutely neccessary, i can fight anywhere in the Ruins... though my agility will be greatly reduced."
Orinoco
The 10-foot-long Yacare Caiman slid into the murky water, past the wolves. She was happy to be wet again, and she didn't like the cold climate here. She stayed out of Dima and Risen's conversation at first, but then introduced herself. "If you don't mind me interrupting, I will introduce myself." She said. "I am Orinoco, the Yacare Caiman. I may prove useful in wars during the warmer months, as I can live on land much longer than any average crocodilian. But like other crocodilians, I have strong jaws and large teeth." She gaped her mouth open to display her deadly weapons. "During the colder months, I am slower, yet more easily angered and just as dangerous." She lowered her head into the water, so only her nose and eyes could be seen.
Risen
The thought of hostage holding and maybe even what the humans would call a hospital. "Quilikahm may be able to reside her work here. What do you think of housing a deer in the temple. She is a healer and would be incharge of helping all the injured animals. All you have to do is protect them from enemies. We do not hold hostiges, and if we do they will not live long enough to be sent here. Thank you for that offer. Here on the upper balcony will be a deer with much of her medicines. She is not very large so you should be able to taxi her from one end to the other with no problems. She will have an assistant helping her, a young timid wolf by the name Purgatory. They are to be treated kindly. When injured wolves come you let them in for her to heal. On occasions of huge wars, we will bring children. They will be accompanied by many nannies and healers as well. It is your job to protect those who are here." With that claim she nodded. "You may invite as many in this pond as you see fit. If any of the land dweling haunters are to be hurt by your division that individual will be killed by you, no questions asked. If a land dweller should attack the water dwellers. Take it up to me and they will be properly punished." She hissed, her methods were much, much more painful. Death was the simple way out. With that she turned and headed back to the temple for the meeting.
Villain smiled and turned to the gator. "I think that will be a good idea" He smiled unsure what else to say.
