Nymph*Taini*Kihaku

Kihaku was technically too old to be in the basement anymore, but her timid nature made her useless for almost anything except mothering. So she was down here still, pledging as a student Mother, while her brothers and sister were upstairs, doing their own duties. Her soft eyes had turned to Vaermina as she delivered her first batch of pups, but she did not move over to greet her nieces and nephews. No, she stood to the side, waiting for someone to ask her to do something.

Nymph and Taini, on the other hand, had so much experience down here by this time that they moved with confidence through the crowds, breaking up wrestling matches when they became too rough, encouraging the shy ones into play, seeing that everyone was comfortable, and so forth. Having made her rounds of the room, Nymph now pulled up beside her old friend Ynear, voice soft as her silver eyes scanned the room. "You know, though the pups come and go, the problems are always the same." And a small chuckling purr left her.

Ynear .+. Runi .+. Anathema .+. Fastrack .+. Ichigo .+. Shrowd

Ynear’s eyes grew wide as she saw her “mother” coming down the stairs into the basement. Nachi’s fond nuzzle was returned with one of equal or more affection. It had been so long since she had seen her mother. Watching her move to see the pups she smiled. “There are still some more warriors who have not dropped off their broods in.” She offered a silence as she, too, looked around the room at the sixty or so children that flooded the basement floors. With all the little bodies, the room would no doubt grow quite warm quickly. With all the bodies in the temple, the structure would have it’s own heating unit made of living creatures. The cold winter outside was always uninviting. The Mother’s never had to worry about such things, but they did miss the sun.

Runi smiled as the pup seemed to understand her words and began, once again, to play with her. As he tackled at her feet, she rolled over and smiled, pawing gently at him with her long and graceful legs. Her mouth opened and she took in air to make a cracking noise inside her mouth. Her tail, all the while, kept its wag at a constant sway.

Anathema sat quietly, letting the pups play around her. Her useless eyes tried to become soft, but she didn’t know what soft was, she had never heard soft, she had never heard soft, she could only feel it and smell it in their personalities. Her tail swayed softly, as she sniffed out who was closest to her. Lamiac’s scent came to her first and she smiled, wagging her tail to the puppy before walking over to her and curling around her, trying to offer comfort to one who smelt like fear and hesitation. She gave off soft cooing gurgles, trying to imitate a purr, the purr that was given to her from Nymph. But Anathema wasn’t a cat in anyway. She didn’t know what she was, nor the others were. There was no noise that came from her, for she was mute as well as she was deaf and blind.

Fastrack smiled as he was caught. His tail wagged and then playfully tugged on the cat’s tail. Ichigo laughed at the sight of the two that he was playing. He backed away and watched before looking up to all the adults that moved around. His mind burning who they were into his mind. Smiling, he suddenly decided that he liked it here. It was enjoyable, for now.

Shrowd lifted herself up after the play and looked at the mother’s as they passed. Smiling sweetly before looking to Malice. “My name is Shrowd, What’s yours?”

As nymph came close to her, she smiled and nodded to her friend’s words. “Yes, but it always interesting to see each of their individual personalities. It just proves that they will be strong. Look at that little Coalition that we raised. They have gotten so powerful and so highly respected. The prospects of this pack are just shooting through the roof.” She smiled as she watched Taini, her tail wagging before returning her stare to her mother. Seeing what she thought of all that has happened while she was gone. She had always wondered why Nachi didn’t want to be a Mother. She decided it was best not to ask. She had her reasons and Ynear respected that.

Blister/malice/alludia

Blister rolled around with Runi, he even tried to copy most of the moves she made. He jumped ont her tummy and looked down directly into her face. his legs spread eagle.

"I gotted you"

He barked with a big smile his tail wagging like crazy.

Malice stopped the play as well to watch the grownups come in.

"I'm Malice!"

He yapped wildly. Then he he stood up on his hind legs and jumped at her.

Alludia hadn't moved yet. She sat in the dark corner her eyes gleaming in the light. Slowly her tail swayed back and forth across the floor. But something wasn't right... something was there in her that shouldn't be.

Mildred,Death,Yuri,Deadra,boltz,Myth, Guko,Tarzan,Shyco,Aerial

Mildred Daughter of Windsong X Mijuu.She looked like a rottie but with alittle more fur then one.She growled at random ones.She sat up and watched the others.

Death one of the two males was all white with a silver tail and black and tan sprinkles.He was as muscled as the rottie but had the wolf body.He growled and stood up.Who wants to fight?he ment play fight but he didn't like the word play.

Yuri who was orangish tan with the mutation of the king cheetah. it almost made her look all black at the moment cuz the spots and stripes were connected and were dominant in her.This would even out a bit and she would look more like a normal cheetah when she was older.She yawned and moved toward ynear and curled up by her.She was a laid back girl.

Deadra was like her brother . She carried the gene but it didn't show.She had the normal cheetah markings.She was a more dominant cub and jumped at her sister even though she wished not to play.

Boltz The Irish Wolf hound looking male except with his mothers eyes.He had Irish Wolf hound, Fox and Dire wolf ancestery in him.He growled and looked around for someone to pounce on.

Myth who was the sister to Shrowd who looked like a wolf where as Myth looked like a greatdane. Her fur being a tad longer then a great dane. She yawned and started looking around the place.Wither was her mother.

Guko the dark grey on top with black muzzle and tail and white underside stood up and his little tail was up.He barked trying to get someone to play.His parents were Katina and Sora which were Grey wolf with the Kenai Penisula wolf blood in them along with Artic wolf and siberian Husky.he was not gifted with endurance and speed though.

Then there was Tarzan and Exact replica of his brother Savage except his right eye is baby blue.Their Strength is equal but he is a bit faster.He stood up and growled seeing if there would be another pup to try and take him on.His family were made for pure strength.

Shyco, Was their half brother born of riverhawk and sora.He was Grey wolf (with Kenai Peninsula) and American Indian Dog. He is grizzled grey with a black nose and black feet.His build is stocky as well.He growled lightly and looked around.He and Tarzan had partially joined up.

Nymph*Taini*Kihaku

Nymph did smile at Ynear's words, shaking her head fondly over the young wolves and cats that she'd raised here, now grown and producing little ones of their own, and respected in their own rights. "You know, Ynear... I think we're getting old. Most of these kits, we've kept their parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, half-siblings here. I mean look at Vaermina! Those are her pups over there, and small as I remember her. But look at her now! Determined little thing, as always. If only her sister had even a mite of that courage, perhaps her life would be easier."

And the molten silver eyes moved to Kihaku, still silent in her place, not really daring to interact with anyone. It was as much a handicap as Anathema's, or perhaps worse, because Anathema was accepted with her inabilities, and Kihaku had only ever been teased. Nymph had always had a special place in her heart for those who needed that extra bit of help, like Anathema, and Snowfall, and Kihaku. It pained her to see that the little white fae was still not thriving as she ought.

Alludia

Alludia watched the others with great interest. Her fluffy, pure white tail swayed almost impatiently on the ground. Her deep deathly beutiful yellow eyes gleamed with expectation.

Her eyes averted from the others to the door. A thin smile grew across her face and her nose twitched at the smell of the beutiful, fresh air. The small, pure white pup closed her eyes, suddenly she could feel the gentle wind lovingly playing with her snowy fur.

All at once she was back up on her paws and almost flying with such astoundingly great speed towards the door...

Kihaku

And finally, as if she'd been waiting for her cue, Kihaku reacted. With a swiftness leant to her by her small size, she moved to gently scoop up Alludia, voice soft. "H-here now, d-don't... run off on me. P-pups are forbidden... upstairs."

Ynear .+. Runi .+. Shrowd

Ynear smiled as Kihaku moved over to Alludia. "Every chick is born in a shell. They all hatch on the same day, but it is their choice as to when exactly they want to come out. I believe it is the same with a creature's personality. She is shy, she's got to break out of her shell to see the world, and to let the world see her beauty as well." She kept her eyes on the two, not daring to interrupt them when there was a chance for the two to bond. Besides, Alludia wouldn't get up the steps fast enough for a Mother not to catch her, and even is she did, the guards and other would stop her, and even after that, the pup was too small to conquer the moat that surrounded the area. She was not to worried, but once outside the pup would face dangers. That could not be tolerated for too long.

Runi smiled and wagged her tail, completely on her back, she lifted her head, exposing her neck as if in full submission, stretching her front legs out over her jaw. "Oh no, you got me, whoa-is-me whoa-is-me. What ever shall I do?" She said in a playful tone, her tail wagging joyfully as the puppy sat upon her belly.

Shrowd snorted playfully as the larger pup came at her. Her tail wagging as she was easily brought to the ground. Biting at his shoulder and neck softly, kicking her her feet to get him off. Giggling the whole time.

Abyss & others

Abyss nursed Dark Era, Hawkeye and Twister, looking at the trio. She looked at the other mothers. Sighing softly and closed her eyes.

Fanta licked Nicholas, proud of her young son. He was a beautiful pup, he was going to be strong. Like his father, and smart like his mother. She smiled softly. Looking up at Runi, laughing. Some just never got tired of being a kid.

Foxtrot and Forbidden both nursed their pups. Foxtrot lickined Sea Dancer tenderly, Forbidden letting Idol and Chark sleep. They both spook softly. "Sea Dancer is going to be the best warrior..." Foxtrot smiled. Forbidden replied, "Oh? Idol and Chark are both strong." They laughed and sighed. Being first time mothers was just settling in. And the pride was surging.

Katina had the rough birth, giving birth to five large males. Savage, Bloodthirster, Guzo, Tarzan and Hellfire is what she named them. The names suited, for she predicted they'd be demons in battle. "Can someone watch my pups? They are asleep, but might wake up. I need some fresh air and a drink." Katina called out.

Ynear

The black wolfess heard Katina's calls and cried back softly, "That is what we are here for." She smiled softly. Anathema looked up as the vibrations came, Then stood and moved to the distressed mother. She could sniff but not speak, feel but not hear nor see. Letting the mother up, she curled around the children. Making sure they would stay warm in the coldness of winter.

Mizu, Aluddia, Malice, Blister

Alludia was so close to the doorway but alas she was not fast enough at her young age. As she was lifed off her feet she gave a breathtaking snarl and then fell silent and still once more. She was like a beautiful chest of golden secrets hidden away and gaurded by an awful dragon. But something showed all to clearly within her, strenght, speed.

"let me go. I only wanted some air"

She mumbled to her captor. Her voice was completly emotionless, like a one sided mirror. But it was smooth and rang out like a ghostly song.

Blister barked with a huge grin on his puppyish face. When Runi began wailing he couldn't help but begin to crack up into wild hysterics. He seemed to forget he was on her stomach though for he rolled ver and ended up toppling onto the ground with a thump and a muffled grunt as he landed on his head with his tail down over his eyes.

Malice tackled shrowd again and nipped playfully at her ear. "hey shrowd? Will you be mine? Frever and evers?" He looked upside down at her.

Mizu ran after the two boys growling and meow-roaring at them.

Nymph*Kihaku

Nymph nodded to Ynear's wisdom, smiling as she watched Kihaku, and took her gentle restraint of the pup as a sign that perhaps the quiet fae was emerging from her "shell".

Since she'd grasped Alludia up, Kihaku began to carry the pup back to her siblings, speaking around a mouthful of scruff as she did so, which probably served to make her already stuttering voice even harder to understand. "Even i-if I allowed you past, the g-guards would s-stop you. Pups are n-not permitted above the stairs un-til they go for training. It is n-not my choice to m-make. It is H-haunter l-law." That said, she gently sat Alludia down among the other pups once more, her voice soft, for the little fae's ears alone. "I know what it i-is to be im-prisoned, li-ittle one. And the reason th-at it is f-for your safety is-s ne-ver enough. J-just tr-ust me. The day wi-ll come whe-en you will be allo-owed outsi-ide."

Katina

"Thank you." Katina rose and trotted up the stairs. Stopping at looking at Alludia. Smiling, she continued on. Poor pups. But, its for their protection against the enemies.

Ynear .+. Others

Ynear also kept a keen eye on Alludia and Kihaku. Smiling at the two as the pup continued to protest. She wouldn’t intrude, not unless things got too out of control for the new Mother.

Shrowd smiled at Malice, a devious look in her eyes as he asked her to be his. “Only if you promise to be mine” her tail gave a playful wag. Keeping up her play, she forced herself right-side up and went to pin him. Her teeth showing in a playful grin as her tail flailed around behind her.

Ichigo and Fastrack soon saw Mizu chasing them and took off running. Smiling and laughing as she chased them. Moving over to the one foot ledge, the two made their best effort to get over the obstacle; Ichigo made it with no problems; it took Fastrack two times before he could successfully scale the barrier. Causing him time that would eventually end him in losing the chase.

Ichigo moved into the side room areas, the old broken shelves added for hiding spaces, that he soon took advantage of. Moving quickly and stealthily underneath them, he made sure to stay ahead. Fastrack moved in front and tried to get ahead of Ichigo. He didn’t want to be the first one caught, but it seemed that he would be if Mizu could make just the right pounce.

Runi sat up and smiled as Blister fell from his place. Playfully she nudged his hind end so that he would roll over himself. Standing up and lowering her front end, she smiled and licked him, trying to push him over than slowly trotted away. Taunting behind her “I bet you can’t get me.” She giggled and began to trot around the basement, Steering clear of the other pups, but well enough to make a large track.

Anathema nodded to the mother wolf before lowering her head to the ground, feeling the vibrations and offering a show of teeth to those who decided to try and pester the little pups. It wasn’t in a mean offensive way, but a warning not to come near them. They were younger than the rest and needed to sleep.

Nicholas

Nicholas looked up at his mother, then around at the other pups. He could see hem playing, but he couldn't hear them. He had inherited deafness from his father's side. He playfully wagged his tail and bounded past the pups, lowering his front end as a way of saying 'I want to play.'

Devaki; Tama; Estelle; Sekunti

Devaki, Tama and Estelle had their cubs in a corner of the basement. Devaki and Tama each had one cub, while Estelle had three. They cleaned their children before bringing them to the group.

Sekunti met the young mothers, bowing before them. "Greetings. I am Mother Sekunti, and I will be caring for your cubs." She said with a soft, gentle voice.

Samara

Samara had given birth to two cubs.She cleaned them and let them nurse.Then she looked to one of the mothers to watch over them till the fight was over.

Nymph

It was the black mountain cat who made her way over to Samara's pleading glance, moving to settle around the pups with her large, warm body. "I will care for them." She settled down into a warm, soothing purr, nuzzling and licking the two pups into a secure, fuzzy embrace.

Samara

She nodded.If they are hungry and there is no one down here if we haven't headed out yet come get me and i shall comeShe spoke before turning and heading back up the stairs.

Siblings

Alludia glared up at the other and then out at the ones watching. She whined and then fell silent again. When she was set down she almost completly ignored the other and doadged under her legs. Then she quickly nipped the back of the others paws and then she shot off. This time she made it up the steps.

Malice beemed with delight "I promise" Then he licked her on the snout just as she pinned him down. He put his two front paws on her stomahc and rolled her back off then he took off running looking back to see if she followed.

Mizu ran as fast as she could after them. She was right on their tails as they jumped and she too cleared it in one jump. She nearly caught fastrack. Mizu crouched low as she followed the other two. But she went above them and looked down to fastrack ready to pounce.

Blister yipped in playfull giddyness. Then he bounded after Runi. "I can! I can wuni! I can!!" He yapped from behind her as he jumped at her tail and then went back and then jumped at her tail again.

Shattered, Silver Trace, Black Ivory

Shattered, Silver Trace, and Black Ivory were the last ones to come down the steps, Shattered carried in her mouth, the run away Alludia. She had caught her just at the top of the steps trying to make her escape. Placing down her children she had picked up the pup and brought her back into the puppy hold.

Placing down the white pup in front of Ynear, she moved toward the middle and nuzzled each of her pups. Silver Trace also nuzzled her pups, being her first litter, it was different to just leave what you cared so much for, but the others did it and it was only her place to do the same. Moving away, she made sure that her pups were left behind, then moved up the steps with Shattered.

Black Ivory, a true warrior, dropped off her pups and smiled, “You all must make me proud, don’t cry here, don’t give the mother’s trouble, but go ahead and show your strength.” With that she turned and trotted away. Feeling little pain in her chest for leaving the young ones. Black Ivory had been raised by the Mothers and knew they would do a good job raising her own children.

Rayne watched as his mother, Black Ivory, walked away. His coy and cunning look made him appear as a beautiful creature. He lifted his body as soon as his mother moved off and began to look around the room, trying to find others to mess with. Unknown to him; he was related to almost everyone in the room to some degree.

Darque, Quique, and Allamonique were the children of Shattered, along with three of their other siblings. Darque was jet black with icey blue eyes. His fur was of full gloss and shining brilliantly like an orb of onyx. He wouldn’t be exceptionally strong, nor fast, but he had the personality that would say it all – a strategist.

Quique was gray with only slight black and tan mixed into his fur with large patches of white around his eyes. Pale yellow orbs looked around the room before spotting Rayne and a smile played across his lips. Moving quickly up to the pup he pounced on him and began to tear at his ear. Rayne reacted quite promptly with a yelp followed by vicious growls and biting back.

Allamonique was tan with ward golden eyes. The pup had thick glossy fur that even seemed to shine in the darkness of the basement. She decided to move close to Alludia, lowering her head in greeting before speaking to the pup. “H-hello, My name is Allamonique, how are you?” She smiled softly, her golden tail wagging ever so slightly.

Cynical, daughter of Silver Trace, looked around the room with narrowed eyes. She didn’t even bother getting up to meet the others. No, she wanted to be alone… for now. She was completely black with some silver tinged in around her ruff and the tips of her ears.

Her Brother, Ruckus, was up quickly looking around the room, smiling at the pups playing and then to the deaf who wanted to play. Ruckus smiled and came up from behind, leaping at the deaf male puppy and trying to tackle him to the ground.

Aluddia

Alludia was just about to take a bound for freedom when she was once again whisked of her feet. She reached up and tried to claw the muzzle to death but to no avail. Again, as soon as she was set down she tried to make a break for the stairs. But was again stopped. Finally the beutiful puppy plopped down on the floor and glared with her startling golden orbs. Then she let out a huff and raised her muzzle to the ceiling and let out her song. It rang like a million balls mixed with the sound of breaking glass. It was heartstopping and deafening and it stopped every wolf and pup in the room. It was something so beutiful and so astounding it was something that you never wanted to hear. It was the song of Alludia.

Allamonique .+. Ichigo .+. Fastrack .+. Shrowd

Allamonique watched Alludia as she cried out, lifting her ears and cocking her head. She couldn't help but cry out with the pup.

Ichigo smiled as he moved quickly, being part cheetah, he took his strides quicker than the wolf pup. Fastrack looked up to Mizu and yelped before stoping dead in his tracks and turning around. Going under the shelves and trying to out manuver her.

Shrowd giggled as she let herself be thrown to the ground. Quickly she raced after Malice. Playfully nipping at his rump. If she was able to land a bit she would cry out "You're it"

Siblings

Mizu slid to a long stop on her upper shelf and then flipped down to where the other tow were. "AHA!" She barked as she pouced towards Fastrack.

Malice ran fromm Shrowd. HE yipped and laughed back at her until all of a sudden he fel a sting on his rear. The lil pup yiped and turned around. "Ok. But not for long!"

Ichigo, Shrowd, Fastrack

Fastrack nearly fell on top of himself, but Mizu beat him to it. He felt the female's body push him to the ground with an "oof" he grunted and snorted with frustration. Then smiled, "My Turn!" He yipped as he turned and tried to tackle Mizu.

Ichigo had stopped his running as he saw the two on the ground. Laughing out loud. "Haha! I win, I'm victory!" He chimed playfully.

Shrowd laughed with surprise and wheeled around. Running quickly away from the male. Through the crowds of Mother's and Pups, towards the back corners of the Basement.

Bloodthirsty & Others

Bloodthirsty cuffed Nicholas on his side. Bloodthirsty then charged for Shrowd, leaping after him. "Hey, cheater!"

Hellfire sat in the corner, chewing on a bone he found. Savage sat beside him, sleeping.

Wildsong, Wildfire, and Hazard were all in the corner, looking up when Shrowd had come over. Shrowd probably didn't know they were over their. "Hi, I'm Wildsong!" Wildsong jumped up, smiling.

Dark Era and Idol both launched into playing with one another, Dark Era nipping at Idol's ears. Tumbling around.

Mizu

Mizu slipped underneath the other and turned to tackle him again but found him ontop of her instead. She laughe dand then pushed him off. She then graabed his ear and playfully tugged on it.

Ichigo, Shrowd, Fastrack, Ruckus

Ruckus playfully nipped at the pup and rolled onto his back to paw him with his front lets.

Shrowd ran as she spotted two now chasing after her. Squeeling with excitment she picked up her pace, only so slide to a halt when Wildsong jump in front of her. Pausing for a moment to gathered what happened, and "I'm Shrowd" She yipped before remembering two were now chasing her. Turning around she decided to get behind Wildsong for protection.

Fastrack snorted and lay still. Giggling to himself in the harmony of being a pup.

Ichigo snorted as Mizu went for his ear. "Hey no fair, I'm victory, you can't beat me." He smiled and then tackled the two again. Trying to squish them both with his cheetah body.

Dante, Harrow, Dynas & Assari

It wasn't too difficult for the pups to adjust to life in the temple basement. While the other pups began to engage in play or conversation, Dante took to laying at the side of the room, observing the other pups and the mothers that watched over them.

Harrow, remembering his mother had neglected to inform the mothers of something, approached Ynear in a grown-up, sophisticated manner, "Mother Ynear, My mother has forgotten to tell you about my brother and sister. My brother, Dynas, is deaf and my sister, Assari, is mute."

Nicholas; Others

Nicholas smiled at Ruckus, chasing after him. He playfully snapped at the other pup's scruff.

Flash, Zeta and Ayin stuck together as they explored the basement. The three tiger/clouded leopard hybrids approached Ynear. "Hello. I'm Flash, daughter of Austin and Estelle. These are my sisters, Zeta and Ayin." The other two smiled and bowed to the mother.

Torch grinned as he snuck up on Allamonique. "HA!" He shouted, leaping at her.

Polar and Click turned around to see their sister being ambushed by their brother. "Girls against boys!" Polar shouted, barreling herself at Torch.

Alludia

Alludia stopped her terryfying howl to look around and see the effect she had had on the others, she paid no attention to the howl that had joined her. The pup suddenly seemed to get very determined. She stood up, her pure white fur seeming to create it's own little light in the room. She looked around for a little ledge, when she spotted a small crevice in the wall she quickly ran over to it and jumped onto it. She sat down and looked around herself then she took a deep breath and let loose her howl once more. She made it as loud as she could. It rang out loud, very loud. IT was the bells, it was crystal, it was a mirrored lake being touched by life after years of laying in hiding from the world. IT was heartstopping and yet so beautiful.

Malice, Blister, Mizu

Mizu had been squershed by Ichigo and was in mid turn to break herself free when the loud and haunting howl hit her puppy ears. Her eyes grew wide and she stared at Alludia. ONe paw was on Ichigo's face pushing him away and partly in his eye and the other paw was under her about to push herself up.

Blister had been about to try to jump up onto her back when the howl reached his ears as well he tried to stop mid jump but ended up falling onto his stomach and sliding underneath her legs and ending up under her stomach staring shocked up into her face.

MAlice had pounced on shrowd. He whispered in her ear "forever and ever" THen he nipped at her ear but froze as well when the howl filled his ears.

Nicholas

Alludia's song fell on deaf ears. Literally. Nicholas continued chasing Ruckus, unable to hear the world around him.

Torpedo snarled at Alludia. "Shut up, will you?" He snapped. Pearl and Chickadee attempted to take Alludia down. "Shut it!" Pearl growled. "What you doin'? You tryin' to be the center of attention?"

Alludia

Alludia looked down at the apoaching others. However, when she receaved a couple growls and a shut it she immediatly turned to viciousness.

THe white pup leaped from her ledge and landed on the floor behind the other with no sond at all. SHe pinned back her ears and lifted her lips exposing her razor sharp puppy teath. She then let out a vicious and low snarl. Her hackles raised and her tail grew stiff and high. Her golden usually bright eyes darkened with fury and she crouched low to the ground.

"Try and make me"

She snapped with horrible viciousness.

Torpedo; Pearl; Chickadee

"With pleasure..." Torpedo growled. He hated it when others tried to be the center of attention. It was sickening. He lunged at Alludia, trying to take her down.

Pearl and Chickadee each barreled themselves at Alludia.

Alludia

With a meanacing smile. Alludia waited for him to pounce. As soon as he did she leapt up and landed on his head, hopeing to knock him down. Then she pushed off his head and jumped to the wall, hitting it sideways she pushed back off with her feet and snaked her body around to land in in between the two running, as they ran for her she jumped up again, hoping to have the two slide into each other. Without looking back to see if she had succeeded the little white wolfess took flight on her exceedingly fast legs. She ran weaving in an out of all the pups and adults. A large and haunting smile was spread across her face the entire time.

Torpedo; Pearl; Chickadee

Torpedo, being much larger than Alludia, barely felt her hit his head. He would be a whopping 200 pounds when he was full-grown, a giant compared to Alludia's measly 90 pounds. He ran after the female, growling angrily. This wasn't play anymore. He wanted to bring her down.

There was no way Pearl and Chickadee would collide with each other, as they weren't even acing each other. They immediately turned around and pounced at Alludia.

Alludia

Alludia heard the three running again. Realizing she had made a mistake she put another burst of speed on her stride. She was a streak of white light compared to the others.

Suddenly she slid to a stop and turned around she opened her mouth, again revealing her razors and she lunged at Torpedo. The grabbed onto the back of his neck and flipped herself over him, she knew she had drawn a bit of blood immediatly, but she did not know how bad she had damaged him. She landed behind him with no sound and then streaked off again through the huge crowd of others. She then looked back to see the other two closing in from behind her. She looked for anything she could use, but found nothing. So she turned around again and streaked right between them with a loud laugh. Then she turned around and streaked back between them following with one more time. Then she turned again and lunged towards the one on the right and grabbed at her legs and pulled as hard as she could. She followed that up by jumping over that one and then sliding under the other and standing up as quickly as she could once she was beneath. Then she streaked off through the sea of others yet again.

Torpedo; Pearl; Chickadee

Torpedo cleanly dodged Alludia, as well as Pearl and Chickadee. They were getting fed up with this annoying wolf. "Just shove off." Pearl growled, walking away. If it was attention Alludia wanted, she wouldn't get it. At least not from these three.

Torpedo and Chickadee turned around, completely ignoring Alludia.

Alludia

Alludia slid to a stop again. She smiled broadly and laughed at them.

"you are all pathetic. You think you know everything but maybe you should learn to get to know someone before you go calling names and yellin. We are supposed to be a family and live together."

She snarled and then walked away. She made sure to look away from every other she walked by, she didn't want anyone to see the tears that had begun to flow like little crystals down her slender face. For some reason her white fur seemed to lose its beautiful glow. Her eyes instead of going back to their bright golden shine, seemed to dim. Her tial dropped followed by her ears.

The younge wolfess walked to the darkest corner she could find, the one farthest away from everyone. She pushed and squeezed herself as far as she could into the corner, makiing fur the shadows completly enveloped her. THen she lay down and curled into a small ball and let herself cry ever so silently.

Ynear

From her view on the crowd of pups, a tiny voice echoed in the hollows of her ears. Deep blue voids flicked down to Harrow as he informed the Mother that his two siblings had problems with them. With a smile she nodded her elegant black head "Thank you my dear." a few brief brushes of her tail were given before harks flicked forward to the sound of howling.

A breath had trapped itself in her thorax as orbs caught the sight of Alludia in the wall. Subconsciously she lifted herself, watching all the happening between the four pups unfold in front of her. As they ran around she couldn't help but restate what Nymph had said before. "Different crowd, but they are the same in their own ways." Of course she fixed the wording to her own. This wasn't new: Puppies; puppies being puppies. Fights, play, love, friendships. This was where it all began. This was their base of life.

When the Torpedo started his chase on Alludia, an image of young Iota and Toxin went through her mind. Ghoul, Onslaught, Martimoor, Little tuft. She shivered trying to hold tears back at how old she was and how she missed all of the others being so young. How she wished that all the warriors above them could revert to the age they first met and be down here once again.. but these were their children. The children of their children. And these children would have children, and so on, and so on.

Finally, the final straw. As Torpedo yelled out at Alludia, Ynear was shaken from her memories. Her dark night blue eyes looked around, watching as the other three left and watching Alludia move to the back of the room. My turn She thought, her eyes passing over Kihaku. Her long nimble legs moved her, and although Alludia may think that no one could see her tears, Ynear could. She was born with a heightened sense to see in the dark. As Alludia's specialty at running. This sight made her all more comfortable down here in the basement. It was her home

In moments she was behind Alludia, laying down behind the white pup, their features so contrasting, she cooed softly to her. "My dearest Alludia. Come here my child..." She gave a soft whimper, coos, a comforting tone. "Please dear, come here and tell mother Ynear what's wrong. I want to hear your problems." Her eyes, although dark, seemed to hold light and kindness. For the Mother's of the Haunters were not as dark and Cynical as the warriors and others. And Ynear wasn't born a Haunter, she was born in a den to a loving mother and father. Yet to know her mother and sister were dead, but she had attached herself onto the lie of Nachi. Nachi, her kidnapper, had become her mother, and Ynear a beloved daughter. "Tell me your troubles."

Alludia

Alludia remained motionless, letting her tears flow. She had tried, tried to make friends, tried to gain respect through her astonishing howl, tried. But she had ended up being bullied, threatened and then attacked. and though she had not shown it in the fight she had been scared out of her wits. Now she curled in that dark corner and wept for all she could.

WHen Ynear came up she listened to the gentle cooing of the mother. She wanted to reach out but she had already, at such a youngue age been scared into her own shell, and she wasn't planning on coming out. Yet, soon enough she was soon buring herself in the others fur and sobbing her eyes out, shaking like a leaf, but unable to get any words out. at least, not yet.

Kihaku

Kihaku's soft eyes were on Alludia as the pup fled, and as Ynear went to provide comfort, but she could not bring herself to reach out to the little fae, to say that she understood, that she knew exactly how she felt. In some strange way, she was just as afraid of Alludia's rejection as she had been of the rejection of the other pups when she was but a little thing herself. So she did not move.

But soon, a howl echoed through the Ruins, and Kihaku excused herself and made her way up the stairs. When Akki called, she had to go... whether or not she had permission.

Ynear

Ynear's body embraced little Alludia, the Mother offered her greatest care to Alludia in her time of need for comfort. Hushing the child with mellow Shh's, cooes, and hums, she licked the female pup in an attempt to relax her tense muscles. "There there, there there. " She repeated a few times, letting Alludia know it was alright to cry.

Only when Alludia wanted to, would Ynear ask, "Tell me all that has happened." She would want Alludia's side of the story. Not wanting any to interfere with the story the pup may offer her. To council the pup, like a Mother should.

Alludia <

Alludia did not move herself from ynear for a long time, she could here the mumbling around her, about how stuck up she was and this only caused her to cry even harder. Finally she looked up at Ynear and sniffed but then almsot immediatly looked back down.

"I only wnated to show them my song, I just wanted them to think I was cool and respectable. I don't like being here I feel so small and helpless. I want to be free and run out in the wind. But, I didn't mean to take all the attention, I was just trying to let them know I was here and and....."

She did not finish her snetence and began to sob again. She was only trying to be herself.

Ruckus and others

Ruckus turned on Nicholas as he was snapped at, his mighty tail wagging as he bit at Nicholas’ feet and legs. He could feel the other’s teeth catch his scruff a few times, but it didn’t really bother him much. Oh no, Ruckus thought of himself as a tough little warrior, but his fellow packmate wouldn’t receive the same punishment that some, others, may acquire.

Shrowd had been in a frenzy of giggles as then began to play with her new “mate” and those who had started interacting with her. But the dizzying howl had haunter her ears as well and she froze up with Malice at he noise. “Who-“ she was about to question when the series of events happened. She could only watch with wide eyes, though mentally she was on Alludia’s side, she just didn’t want to exert herself and get into trouble with the other pups.

Fastrack snarled playfully to the Tiger-Cheetah hybrids when he froze at the noise too. His eyes widened and he pulled away from the two cats. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing managed to come out.

With a paw in his eye and his sister frozen in a moment’s trance. Ichigo snorted again and fell over. Giving up trying to get to his sister and his new friend. When the happenings unfolded, Ichigo was actually on the side of Torpedo, He didn’t like it when one wanted to be the center of attention, not even he was that greedy.

Allamonique soon saw Torch come at her and she giggled away the rejection of Alludia. She ducked, but her brother had caught her just enough to pull her to the ground. With a playful yelp she bit at her brother.

Quique was the second male to race into the fight. Smiling devilishly as his siblings began to play. With aim, he targeted Polar and leaped at her.

Darque woofed out from under himself and he smiled. His tail wagged as the group engaged in play. Soon he found himself barreling toward Click, trying to tackle his sister to the ground, even if she was bigger than him.

Rayne watched his half siblings as they fought, but did nothing to interact with them. He didn’t care much for their play, not right now anyway.

Alludia had been able to catch his attention though. He watched as Ynear comforted the young female and snickered. “I’m glad I’m not a female, I wouldn’t want this lousy job.”

And who was to hear him other than Cynical. Both showed great potential at being strategists. Both small, they both liked to watch and think. But this time it was Cynical’s turn to speak.

When she spoke, her words came out like cooling lava, tinged with the venom of a spitting cobra. “Watch what you say pup. Just because we’re female means nothing about our strength. “ Rayne turned to her, his grey brown eyes staring coldly at her. “And you’re to stop me how?”

Cynical gave a devilish smile, “Cynical, Remember the name well, it may save your life.” Rayne smirked. “Rayne, and you do the same. Girly.” Cynical ignored the last comment, looking toward Alludia. “She gives the Haunters a bad name…” Rayne retorted “She’ll get over it, everyone has a purpose here.” “That is what they want you to think.” After Cynical’s words, the two were quiet, both staring at the mother and pup in though.

Runi stared at the pup and instinctively placed her leg around Blister, trying to keep him safe from the run around. When Ynear had taken over the situation, Runi smiled down at Blister, “Giving up so soon?

Malice, Blister, Mizu

Malice watched in horror as the small white fae was taunted and then chased through the basement, he wanted to help her but saw that she was handling it well on her own, so it seemed, that howl had scared him, she was soemthing to watch out for. Malice turned back to shrowd and nipped at her ear while swatting at her with one paw as he layed next to her.

Mizu froze only for a moment before whipping around and tackling the other two again.

Blister peered around Runi's leg. He looked up at Runi with a wuizical expression.

"WHy are they chasing her, she was only howling, she scares me though"

ME moved a bit closer to her and then continued to speak.

"will she be ok?"

Then he weaved back behind her and tried to pounce back up ont her back but ended up with two paws spread across her back and his hind end danlging off with his back legs kicking woldly.

Ynear

Ynear smiled kindly to the pup as she revealed her sobbing face and spoke. When she buried her head again Ynear rocked herself gently to try and calm the pup down. “There there, Your song was beautiful, They are just jealous that they hadn’t come up with it themselves.” She spoke like all mothers did, praising her child in every way she could. Her dark blue eyes scimmed along as she watched the mothers prepare to leave, then turned back to the young Alludia.

“You are cool, and very beautiful, respect isn’t a thing you just acquire. Heck, I wasn’t even respected until I was an adult. You are still very young, you aren’t small, you just haven’t grown yet.” She smiled and laughed comfortingly. “ You can’t plant a seed and expect it to become a flower the next day, nor can you plant a tree and expect a forest in a week. You have to give it time. Patience, One day all your wishes will come to you. When you are a warrior, you will travel far. But you are still young and need our protection. You are not helpless, call it underdeveloped.” She smiled.

“You want to see the outside world? You are getting your wish early, we are going to be moving out to a temple in the middle of a lake. It’s surrounded by dragons, but the dragons don’t fly, they swim, and their going to give you a ride.” There was another softness, hushing. “Time always seems our enemy, but don’t be in a hurry to grow up. The faster you grow up, the faster you get old, and the more often you have thoughts of: How much longer am I allowed to live.” She nuzzled the pup, hoping she would understand the words and take them to heart. She couldn’t force the poor dear into anything, Alludia would have to grow to it.

Alludia

ALldia listened intently drinking every single word. She nodded at everything and then looked back up to her.

"Do I have to ride momma? Can't I swim for myself?"

HEr golden eyes had gotten most of their shined back and her fur seemed to glisten once more as well. She showed such promising things.

Ynear

The black wolfess smiled as the pup revealed herself. Like a turtle more comfortable with coming out of its shell: Curiosity, comfort. When the pup asked her question Ynear had to surpress a laugh. "I'll tell you what: Test the water with your paw, and if you really really want to swim, I'll swim right next to you. How does that sound?" She smiled, letting her tail loosen up and wag with glee. She was very happy to see that sparkle back in the young one's eyes.

Torpedo; Pearl

Torpedo wasn't jealous - that arrogant pup's howl had hurt his puppy ears. He had been listening in on their conversation. "Hey! Watch what you say about us! We're not jealous you big stu--" Pearl snapped at his face before he could finish. "Don't insult the mothers! They're on her side!" She whispered.

Alludia

Alludia nodded and then rubbed up against her. She had a song, and it was one that would be remembered for a long time she would make sure of it.

She looked around to where the others sat and smiled in apology. Even so, she heard them and tears welled up in her eyes once more so she buried herself right back into Ynear.

Ynear

Ynear watched Alludia with a pride-filled smile as the pup stood on her own again and looked out into the world. Then Torpedo retorted to her and she snorted and revealed two fangs. “Watch your tongue young one. You have no reason to be snappy toward any of your superiors. Doing so will only gain you pain in the long run.” There was then a sly smile and the mother teased back, “I think you like her, you seem to be wanting her attention so badly, and doing a good job at getting it.” Her eyes peered sharply at the pup before giving one last jab. “And don’t you have somewhere to be moving to?” Her eyes traveled to Fragile Moment, one of the younger Mothers, telling her to take Torpedo and Pearl. “Oh, and darlings, “ She called back. “There are no sides in the Haunters, your just being difficult. Now go!” She demanded as Fragile moment came up and aimed to pluck Torpedo from the ground. If she grabbed him just right, he would be temporarily paralyzed because of a tendon she’d grasp.

Fragile called to Anathema, and at her name the handicap wolf turned and looked up, her dead eyes looking blankly as Fragile scratched the ground just around Pearl. The black and brown handicap stood up and moved over to Pearl, sniffing around and feeling with her nose until she got to the scruff on her neck. Biting at it gently she tried to do the same as Fragile and grip the paralysis tendon.

Runi looked up and noticed that all were getting ready to leave and she quickly went to pick Blister up in her mouth, then called out to the mothers. “I’ll stay out in Dima’s temple during the transportation.” She called out as she moved toward the stair case.

Alludia and Malice

Alludia peared around at the other again as Ynear spoke. SHe held a wise smile back and looked up at Ynear.

"thanks momma"

She smiled again at the others and then up at the aproaching mothers. She too tried the little scratching thing on the ground, attempting a thank you.

Blister yalped in suprise as he was lifted from the ground. He fell limp as if in sleep.
