Tahti/Taina
Tahti carried her weak daughter down to the basement and set her down on the floor. As she passed Nachi on the way up, she said, "Don't let them know that they're rape children." Soon she disappeared up the stairs.
Nachi
Nachi had set the last two down as well, her eyes still holding a glaring look as the followed after Tahti, "They are my children, Tahti." The wolfess hissed out, as if offended that the coyote would have even suggested such a thing of them. When the coyote was gone, Nachi demeanor changed in a snap. Once again, a motherly facade was in place as she curled around the three tiny bodies and caressed them with her tongue.
When she was settled in with them, Nachi gave a low howl, calling to her favorite Daughter.
Ynear
Moving in silently, ever so silently, Ynear passed by Tahti unseen and slipped down the dark staircase to the basement. She had been holding her breath the while here. They already stole a new pup: more puppies, they needed more mothers. And they had yet to find out Risen's plans of the new 'job' of trainers, who were specifically going to take the pups right from the Babysitters and train them in different elements. The pack was going to grow, whether the Haunters wanted it or not.
Finally Ynear morphed into the dim light of the basement with her mother Nachi. Lowering her head in greeting, and tail wagging, she approached. "Yes mother?" She said, it was pretty noticeable that Ynear had fallen victim once again to a cold. This, of course, was due to her lack in immune system.
She glanced at the puppies. Eyes alighting somewhat. "Where did they come from?" She asked, knowing the question "who's are they" would be promptly answered with "mine".
Nachi
Butter-gold eyes lit on Ynear, with motherly affection and pride for her favorite 'daughter'. "Come sit down, dear. See your new siblings." Nachi didn't get up, but merely shifted to the side a bit to reveal the three tiny hybrid pups. At Ynear's question, Nachi wrinkled her nose in a sign of disgust, "The coyote." The quite hiss in the wolf's voice showed her clear disdain for the other females of the pack.
"My daughter," Nachi looked from her pups to Ynear again, her eyes narrowed faintly with the look of concern, "Are you feeling ill?" There were few that could raise such sincere worry in the half-mad wolfess.
Ynear
Her tail wagged at the three as she was introduced. Then nodded as Nachi revealed the true parent. Her own nose wrinkled a bit but not as much as Nachi's. "I see." She growled silently under her words. It was the second unannounced batch the coyote mother had produced and she was surprised Risen hadn't killed her yet.
Her eyes were stuck on the children for a moment until she was shaken back by the concerned comment. "Just a little light headed mother." She smiled, eyes closed with a natural pleasure. "Thank you." She wasn't sure about asking the mother wolf how she had been, for she had barely seen her through the fights.
"May I ask, what are the little one's names?" She smiled to them, glancing respectfully to mother, then back to the pups again.
Nachi
A pleased, half-amused little smile worked its way to Nachi's muzzle when she heard the disdain Ynear showed for Tahti. And then it was gone, replaced by the tender, motherly look that Nachi was so adept at creating.
"Tero." She began, nuzzling each pup as she gave their names, "Leila, and Taina." She didn't linger on the pups for long though, as worry drifted back into her eyes, showing the rare bit of true emotion that so often was absent, "You should get that deer to make you a potion. Or one of the other Healers." Nachi said, her tone conveying more of a point-blank demand rather than suggestion, though her words were soft.
Ynear
Ynear nodded and continued a soft wag of her tail as each name was presented. "Well met." She said in a motherly tone to the children to keep their fears away and hopefully strengthen their trust.
She could tell her mothers request was more enforced that a mere suggestion and she nodded kindly. "I shall as soon as I get back to the te-" Her head perked up at the sound of Risen's voice and she sighed a little. More work Never a dull moment she supposed.
"I guess the alpha must be wanting to see me. Probably more little ones here, though I don't remember an order that went out. Maybe from the allies?" It was somewhat of a question but she didn't know for sure. Then she stood and nodded to her mother. "Should the coyote cubs come meet or do you suppose they are too young?" She questioned gently.
