Lupanare & Saulk

Caramel wolfdog was cautious in her descent into the Basement, for it was normally a forbidden place for a Warrior like herself. She'd really been down here only been down here once before, during the birth of her first litter, and that had been many, many moons ago.

As her eyes adjusted to the dimmer light, she smiled wryly to herself. The Basement looked the same as it had those years ago, only now the scent of dusty plants and pungent herbs clung a little sharper in the air. Likely Quilikham's doing. And sure enough, the soon-to-be mother spotted a pile of nesting material in one of the far off corners, where the tiny muntjac had been busy readying the site for Lupa's labor. "Thank Imre, you are an observant one, Quili." She murmured under her breath, and made her way towards the dried grasses and leaves.

.....

Three hours later, Lupanare had two healthy pups at her belly, cleaned and nursing while their mother got in a little rest herself.
