Lion

Lion was following the orders of the Haunter's Caption, Cavan, while his own brother was tasked with rallying the various Warriors in the pack to prepare for retaliation. Moving very cautiously, because it was nearly pitch-black in the Basement during the night, Lion extended his paws one at a time down the stone steps that led to the basement, using touch more than anything to make sure he didn't fall or trip over anything. Now and then, he'd pause and make sure Nighteyes was nearby.

"Attention, Mothers-" Lion spoke at a medium level to catch everyone's attention, hopefully without startling anyone too much if they were all still asleep. "-Cavan has requested that all Mothers and Youngsters be moved to Dima's Temple."

Nighteyes

He followed after Lion, slowing his own pace when his fellow member did. It took a little while, before his eyes registered in the dark, and even then he was nearly blind. Standing there he waited till everyone was ready to move out. He'd help carry a pup or cub if needed.

Victoria, Kia, and Kenya moved forth. All mothers that hadn't had pups just yet this year. Looking to the other mothers' down that might actually have children they offered to help once they awoke. They knew something bad had happened if they were to move to Dima's temple. Was it Victoria's imagination or were there lesser children than what had been in there before they went to sleep?

Monarda & Lamiac

Monarda was already awake, being brought out of her dreams by the howls from the others. It was then, as she and her elder daughter Lamiac were checking on the pups, that they began to note that not all the cubs were accounted for. When Nighteyes and Lion entered the den, they knew something bad had happened... Warriors and Strategists were not allowed down here unless specifically ordered by one of the leaders. "I can't find Arochea. Arocheae?" Monarda whimpered in earnest before looking to the two males that had come down here, "What happened? Are we under attack?"

"Madusa is gone too. Night's Call... Tyrant- there's several missing!" Lamiac announced in great worry, moving quickly but carefully about as she and the others tried to round up what pups they had and figure out who was missing.

Lion

"Nemu betrayed us. She lured away some of the young ones, and managed to get away before anyone could stop her." Lion spoke as calmly as he could. The darkness of the Basement worked like a mask, hiding the look of hurt and anger on his face... another one had left the Family, and worse than that, they'd taken many of the youngsters hostage. "I need you all to stay calm, and gather the youngsters up. We need to find out precisely who is missing so that the Warriors will know who all to look for when they go after Nemu."
