Prisoner

The limp filly came up into the land, she turned and nickered back to Legend to get his hind end up to her. She didn't want to lose another. Though she was terribly sorry for the loss of Hartheil, she learned her lesson. If she ever got home she would never provoke another to leave again. Ever.

Legend

Legend had kept up at first, then began to trail behind as they entered the Ruins. The uniqueness of the land was lost to his unseeing eyes; he could hardly concentrate. He was slipping back into the trance when Prisoner's nicker called him back. Lifting his head, he bounded quickly towards her, and took notice again of her limping. His droopy ears perked, then drew back as he found his voice, "How bad are you hurt...?" He was almost afraid to ask, for he didn't want to hear bad news.

As he waited for a response, he noticed the area they were in for the first time. At least it was dry. But the rocks here... so unatural! He'd never seen any rock formations like these in his life; infact, the only rocks he saw were the occasional boulder and the smaller rocks in the streams. These great bahemoths dwarfed anything he'd ever seen before. This was about as far west as the two could get from their terra. The great Croal Mountains reared up the sky to their west, north, and south, for the Ruins lay in a small valley at the mountain's feet. This was one reason humans had yet to find it.

Prisoner

He nodded to him "Yeah I'll be fine, as long as I can walk" She smiled then turned and looked at all the strange rocks as well. "I wonder how these all got here."

Legend

He looked to her legs, his eyes furrowed with worry, "We'd better be careful still." Then he took a look around again and nodded, "Yeah, it's so strange..." The fawn crept towards a pillar, etched with fading designs. As he stared at the markings, he swore he saw a human figure carved into the stone. Baffled and afraid, he backed off, giving his head a shake. A human? Impossible...

The site stirred his curiosity a bit, "Have you ever... seen a human before? My mom says they're all bad."

Prisoner

Crimson hued flicka turned her head to the strange carving. Painfull braces moved her forth next to the carving. She examined the wierd petrusion then spoke with a questioning attmept. "Are you sure it ain't a monkey?" She grunted. Then turned back to Ledgend

Her curious eyes soon grew kind and happy. "No, I've never seen a human. As soon as I could stand we made our way to your land. My mother hasn't told me much about humans. Just that I should stay away from them." Tiny tail flicked back and forth then died down as she turned to examine it again. "Do you really think they are all bad?" She was now begining to wonder if she should find a human land. She didn't think they were bad. " They're just like us... right?" She questioned aloud.

Legend

He sniffed at the stone, but there was no human scent there. That, at least, eased his nerves. "I'm not sure what a monkey is, but maybe you're right." Legend looked over the other markings before turning to his friend, "My mom said we should stay away from humans. But... Bramble; he says there is a human that is very nice. She lives deep in the woods somewhere..." The fawn thought a moment, "Maybe we could try to find her?"

Prisoner

She nodded to his words.. She too smelt only rock on these 'creatures'. "If you want to find that human.. sounds fun" She smiled, though now instincts picked at her not to go. Soon she turned, then turned to him. "You lead the way this time" She smiled and waited for the lead fawn.

Legend

Once more, his tail began to flick and he grinned, "Great!" He headed to the south, having no clue where he was going, but feeling happy to lead. He just wanted to get his mind of his half-brother, and the fact that they were hopelessly lost.

Prisoner

She pranced behind, trying to get her mind off of the death as well. Following intently behind legend. Her legs weren't hurting as much, though had a slight sting.
