My eyes, holding a faint look of slight fear, scanned the dark terrain. Night had fallen upon me, and it made me wary. Darkness always made me that way. It played a strange effect on my emotions and actions. I was feeling a bit dreary, but continued onward. I knew I must find cover, and quick. Before someone spotted me. I usually was this way when I was new to a land. I only knew one wolf, a brute, and then some other brute, whom I didn't speak to. He hadn't responded to my quick hello. It wasn't exactly quick. I had waited, but being in a wierd(in my mind) wolf's presence I usually felt somewhat alert. It was right though, wasn't it?

I soon noticed a large rock wall as I swiftly and silently trotted along, body a bit low. I made my way toward it, closer and closer, until I realized what it was. A housing thing, kinda like the dens humans had. Except made from stone with moss and other plants growing all over it.
Growing suspicious, I slowed and walked silently to it, snuffing lightly at the towering temple. I immedietly recognized it as ruins. There seemed to be a hundred of them around me, as I began searching at my sides, eyeing everything that looked unfamiliar that I hadn't seen ever before. Sighing, I slipped into the opening of the building, looking around. I daintily crept to an old staircase, not knowing what it really was. I snuffed some more around that, catching no strong scents. Good. I lowered onto my side and stretched my limbs, tired and achey from my trips and travels. I rested my elegant dial on one of the steps next to me and stared at a ray of moonlight that seeped through a crevice in the wall. It shined against my eyes, and it put me in a trance. Ahh, what a life. So you may b wondering why does night bother me so much? It's not all the time. It was because this was a new and different area. I would get used to this valley, and eventually settle in. That was just me.

My eyelids soon grew heavy and lowered, draping my unique silver-tinted steelblue eyes. Then I was fast asleep, nearing a new dawn.

SHIRIS
Arctic wolf
Female
I am a very vividly colored wolf. My pelt is pure crystal white and often shines like a diamond in the brightness of the sun. I am hueless without a flaw. I have a slender build, not at all bulky, but how a fae should be. My eyes are unique; they are steel blue with a noticable tint of silver.

The peaceful melody of sleep had soothed a being that had been there since the moon came up, and the sun down. The lovely feeling of peace wrapped around the hybrid until another being entered her one night shelter. At first she didn't move until the foot steps filed up the stair case. Who would enter a shelter this late at night?

Standing up, her hackles rose, she made her way from a crumpled room corner. The doorway was the end of the stairs, the spot where she slowly made her appearance. The moon outlined her hybrid thin frame as glowing green retina's stared at the sleeping intruder. She decided not to wake the stranger, in fear of late night squables.

Instead of waking or running from the wolf, the dingo hybrid decided to sleep. There was no point in starting something that could be avoided. Turning in circles, she curled up in the ancient door way. Sleep was slower and embracing her this time, brown orbs stared out, then down to the fea. Her own thoughts and dreams penitrated through her mind, and she was now surrounded by the old spirits who use to live in this facility, party noises, smells of foods, and lights of burning torches entered her senses.... and then she fell asleep.

Shiris

I was fast asleep, although I may not look it. My sides were inflating, lifting up and down with my easy breathing. I was such a beauty in the moonlight, simply lying there, my crystal form so elegant and true. Until suddenly, it was all disturbed. I heard a noise, which slowly woke me from a deep sleep.

I yawned lightly, and then began looking around me. At that moment, the dingo mix was already asleep herself. I was completely silent and stiff, wondering who it was. Nobody I knew, of course. Becoming curious, I eased up onto my paws and quietly shook my pelt. A bit of grit and dust had made it's way into my fur, making me look a bit darker than I really was.

I slowed and sat on my haunches a short way from the sleeping fae, head tilted. Who was it? She looked small and harmless, laying there like that. I sighed, ending it with a feminine grunt noise, trying to wake her. Maybe she would know a bit more about this land. Anything to help me in my trek. I knew that wasn't the best reason to keep somebody away from a night's rest, but I was desiring info, and maybe a new friend, if one'de be willing.

Fawn

The dancing lights of her peaceful dream soon darkened. The faces of those once happy dancers contorted and smiled with only satanic expression. She began to shiver at the sight of the deforming humans. The sound of the fea's sigh and grunt played louder in her head. A rock, falling from the sky, struck the earth and shook her in her dream. The only thing that came next was a thick wave of dust and debree.

In the real life, Fawn's ears were twitching, feet were moving, and she was shivering. Soft whimpers escaped her nose as. After a while, her whimpers grew soft, and she held still, then her paws began twitching faster and she yelped and awoke terror. Staring eye to eye with the stranger.

Instantly, her hairs rose, forgetting completely where she was. She jumped back and growled, pinning her ears back. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" She growled in fear and anger. Soon she recovered what had happened. Though her bristles stayed high. "Sorry, night mare." She said through glinting teeth. "You're not planning to attack are you?" She wouldn't put her guard down.

Shiris

I was simply sitting there, watching her body randomly twitch. What in the world was wrong with her? I had no clue. Something didn't seem to be quite right, though.

I was suddenly sent sprawling backward in a wild frenzy as she seemed to yell out. I snarled lightly, showing my glistening fangs which shown brightly in the moonlight. I settled down a bit, yet was still on guard.
"What? Attack? Of course not. Who are you? I believe you may have waken me up just a while ago." I said lightly, breathing inward with swift and easy motion. She seemed to be on edge, or was it just my imagination?

Fawn

Tawny fur still stood high as the fea spoke of no attacks. Clouded globes searched about for any back up the stranger may have. "I-I don't know If I woke you." She threw up her head and snarled down. "My name is Fawn, named by my caretaker Void. State your own name!" She almost demanded then lowered her head as she back further into the ancient room. A frenzy of shakes and shivers witheld her body. She couldn't rid the trembles, though she wasn't scared. "I'm sorry, I don't normally growl to others, I had a nightmare. I guess it shook me more than it should have." She spoke, voice growing calmer and she took control of her shakes. Soon her head tilted and wondered who this was.

Shiris

A little fuzzy, now isn't she? I backed away a bit, but didn't stoop any lower than what I may have seemed in the first place. I bared my fangs just a bit to become a little fearless, which I really was. She couldn't possibly harm me in any vital way. I sighed, my lips falling down over my glinting white teeth again. That would do no good.
I tilted my dial, noting her aggressiveness. It was quite sudden, but ended quickly all the same. I was dazed.
I made a small shrugging motion with my shoulders, auds planed out to the sides.
"Well, I expect you did." I stated in an easy manner, my voice smooth and heavenly. I wasn't that girly, though, so you can't say I sounded like an angel. I didn't want to, either.

"The nightmare's past now, and it doesn't really bother me much..." I replied to her statement, lying just a little. I didn't want to disturb her with anything that I said.
"I am Shiris." I then said, remembering she told me to tell my name. I didn't because she demanded it, but because I wished to.

I sighed, knowing full well that she may be a tough one to become friends with. At least when she had a nightmare. Those are bad. I hated them. I had what seemed to be dozens of them when I was just a young pup, after my parents mysteriously disappeared.
I titled my own dial, quite curious. I wanted to know more, despite the fact that I shouldn't ask anything that she may feel uncomfortable answering. My eyes were calm and gentle either way, even though my unique blue eyes held the otherwise excited and active look deep within.

Fawn

Fawn lifted her head as high, if not higher, than the other. She wasn't trying to show dominance, but that she doesn't back down to anything. Her tail held down and she looked around. "Why do you come in so late at night. Do you fear Death's bark, or do you fear his bite?" Fawn shook her head and thought to herself. No rhyming, no rhyming. She only rhymed when her darkness clouded the last shred of her kind and peaceful way.

She was truely kind, really, but her caretaker took every shread of light and tore it to bits right infront of her puppy eyes. She made her believe life was not worth living, and that is what she is today. A souless creature that roams the land of the living as a shadow or ghost that none could see. Ignored by many, she learned to walk and be alone. Now she meets another, one like that Aaka. A wolf, pure wolf, not a half breed like herself.

Now she remained quiet and looked straight to Shiris' forehead, wondering why the wolf was in this building, she assumed for safety of the night.

Shiris

I continued to watch her, quite at ease now, though I could sense tension in the air. I sighed, not understanding what she expected, if anything. To me it seemed she was expecting something. Probably not, though.

My eyes were cast downward as I thought, having no clue on how to answer her question. It seemed quite rediculous to me at that moment, but I knew it must be logical in some way or another. I just couldn't understand it.
"Uhh, umm," I began, unsure, "niether, really." I stated, auds swiveling.
"I fear death itself." I stated, nodding. Well, that just blew my mind. I thought that was pretty interesting for an answer. Though it wasn't either of the things she had asked about, I gave my own. I was unique like that. Hah...

I looked back at the hybrid, wondering what she was thinking. I knew nobody in this valley yet, other than one single wolf, that I talked to enough, to make me feel comfortable around him.

I sat there, waiting for her words to come. I wanted to hear her reply to my words, even if they were short. But few words can go a long way if put to good understanding, and a few other options.

Fawn

She looked to the wolf, now confused by the answer, but smiled none the less. "Death should not be feared, it should be welcomed with open arms. Though it posses many fears, great deaths, and many harms. It's part of life that awaits us all. There to catch us when we fall. So why fear death when it's always there. There's no need for it to scare. We must accept and not deny. Life is life, we all will die. Though it brings us the tears in which we cry. Are the words I speak a truth or lie?" darkness filled her kindly orbs and her auds fell flat to the side. She held a smile yet dead look now, she really didn't mean all of this, but how was the wolf to know? Speaking in such tongue may scare a very soul. But to her, it was just darkness that wanted freedom. Both her kindly puppy and a demon were trapt beneath her breathing skin. She looked up, now wondering if the other was terrified of her jibberish work.

Shiris

My eyes immedietly widened a bit at here words. I searched for an answer, quite confused, but clearly startled. I wasn't horrified, though, simply startled; if you could call it that.

I titled my head, my eyes turning to glance behind me. Then I looked back at her, auds planed out to the sides,
"I don't know," I began, wondering how she managed to cook up this stuff, "I'm not the one to ask." I then finished, nodding. I sure wasn't. She should ask someone of a higher IQ than me. I wasn't too smart when it came to death... But, who was?
I continued to look at her, feeling tension within my muscles build up. This was a crazy conversation-- or was it even that?

Fawn

She stared at the fea a bit longer, satisfied with her responce of confusion. A glow had caught her eye and she looked out the window. "Dawn..."She said softly and began to walk toward the faintly glowing horizon. Large auds held back slightly and she whimpered. "Mother..." Her hopes and dreams were being shattered by a darkness in which she couldn't control, a rage pulsed through her and she howled out in both bitter anger and haunted confusion, the name of her lost care taker. "VOID!" But she knew the wolf would not come back. She had been stranded to live in this world of darkness by herself.

She soon fell quiet and kept an anxious eye on the horizon. Waiting to see the arrival of the sun. She knew Shiris found her crazy, but she could do nothing about it. All she whispered was, "I'm sorry." And she waited for a pitter patter of fleeing feet.

Shiris

I watched her, my auds planing out to the sides. What was wrong with her? And who in this world was Void?
"Are you okay?" I asked the hybrid, tilting my dial. I didn't want to ask anything more. It might set her off again. It sure seemed like it could. I had no clue about anything she was talking about, let alone who she was talking about. I was left dumbfounded, and confused, only sitting there within my own thoughts.

Fawn

She turned her head back slowly, ears pulled back only slightly. She was suprised the fea hadn't left, then turned once again to the window. "I don't know.... I was never like this. I don't know why this happened." She was speaking of her darkness. Then turned to the full bred wolf. " Do you know any of my siblings? Runi, Luxis, Boki and Azin?" She sighed, " I think it was Boki and Azin that went to the wild. I left before Runi and Luxis left." She was anxious to see her mixed siblings. None truely blood related, and unknown to her Luxis was dead.

She now looked anew, watching Shiris. Wondering if she had seen her siblings. Of course, she was not named when she left, if they were to be asked if they knew he by name. They would say no.
