Starlit Eyes, Spark

Starlit Eyes slowed down her sprint to a steady plot when she reached the Ruins. Her keen nose was to the ground, and her brushy tail was in the air as she began to search out some prey.

Spark was ecstatic to be in this new place, and begin to explore at first as he kept his senses alert for any prey.

Flurry

She padded in beside Starlit and spark and searched for prey.

*Prey*

There had been few predators in the area for a long while, and many rabbits and raccoon had taken refuge in the Ruins. Along with them, there were other animals.

A raccoon sleeps under a tilted black of stone where she had dug a shallow den.

A skunk slumbers in rotted log.

A porcupine knaws diligently at the base of a small tree for food.

Several squirrels and rabbits are scrambling over the ground; foraging, playing, and relaxing.

Flurry

She smelt the skunk from her hiding spot and she shakes her head. "Too Stinky." She says. "To pointy." She says when she sees the porcupine. And then she sees the raccoon. "To nasty. Their bad to fight with or at least I heard." She said. She looks to the rabbits and squirrels. "What about them?" She asks.

Starlit Eyes & Spark

Starlit nods, seeing the rodents. "Rabbits tend to run in wide circles if you get them in an open area." the hybrid said, "But I don't know any good way to catch squirrels; just sneak up on them, I guess." she grinned slightly and began to trot forward while keeping as quiet as she could. Once she was close enough, Starlit Eyes launches her lithe body at a rabbit, and tried to bring her large forepaws on it...

Spark came bounding forward, but held back his barks. He learned that barking wasn't a good thing to do when trying to sneak up on prey. The spaniel choose a squirrel for his target; one that wasn't close to a tree.

Flurry

She runs out and lunges for a rabbit and tries to dig her ivories into its flesh and kill it.

*Prey*

The two rabbits were taken down quite easily. In the Ruins, they didn't have to worry very much about wolves and other predators, so they weren't cautious enough. Even the squirrel was taken by Spark.

The rest of the creatures fled.

Flurry

She smiles and wags her tail happily. "Now lets go see Galar." She yipped and lifted up the rabbit she had caught and she sprinted out to the marsh excitedly.

Starlit Eyes & Spark

Both canines followed after Flurry, each carrying their prey. As before, Spark was a little wary of going to the marshes, and most of all to give them his prized squirrel. But, if his friends were giving up their prey, he would too.
