Secrets
A black shadow slipped across the terrain of the Ruins easily. Golden orbs analysed the surroundings with caution, making sure it was safe. The black fox smiled to herself and then trotted out of the darkness from the trees into the light. Secrets smiled and began to walk about, sniffing and investigating the old ruins. Once in a while she would stick her head into a building to see what was inside but most the time there was nothing intresting inside. The onyx wolfess trotted over to a one-story building and peeked in the doorway. She cocked her head and then moved inside; once inside the room she noticed there were no windows but it was decorated nicely. There were sofas and tables covered in cloth with dishes and silverware ontop. The ebony fox leaped up onto a chair at a table and looked on it to find no fod excpet some nice china. She the hopped onto the table and snuffled around, looking at everything but soon growing bored. Secrets jumped down, scattering a few dishes in the progress and sending them crashing to the ground but the lass didn't do anything. The ess then spotted a ladder in a corner of the room and she raised her brows and trotted over to it. Secrets grinned and placed her forepaws on the second rung and her hindpaws on the bottom rung. She then repeated the process and climbed the ladder like she had been doing it all her life.
The fox reached the top of the ladder and went through a hole in the ceiling and climbed onto the roof of the building. It was flat so she was able to walk aroundon top and at first she was a little wary but soon got used to the feeling of being up high. When the minx looked over the edge she frowned a bit at the distance down, it was about fifteen to twenty feet and she pulled back. After being up there a while she began to wonder how in the world she was to get down because the ladder wasn't her first choice. She trotted around the outer edges of the building thinking of how to get down when she came across a few stairs leading up to a pillar that went across to another building. The wolf furrowed her brows and then lit up suddenly when she realized that the other building actually had stairs that she could go down if she crossed the pillar. Secrets smirked to herself thinking how easy it would be and climbed the five steps to the pillar. She lightly jumped onto the pillar and began to cautiously cross over it. Her paws were steady and she then began to go faster in her walk being the daredevil she was. Soon she was almost to the middle and easily slipping across the old stone, her tail in the air and her feet stepping gracefully infront of her. Secrets sorts looked like a cat up there, one that was crossing a limb on a tree. Her concentration was soley on the pillar so if anything startled her, something bad could happen. But hopefully nothing does startle her...
Shadow
He waited quietly for the wolf to get down before walking up to her. He hid his scent incase she smelled him, plus, the wind was blowing in his favor. His ears were pricked forward and the vines hid his light grey fur. He looked onward at the beaty infront of him. His creamy, yet dark fur ruffled as a tiny, tiny breeze flew by. His tail stood still. What a good balancer this fae was. His amber eyes glanced at the big vine on top of the pillar. It was dead and blended into the pillar. No one but him would see it. Shadow did not know what to do. Startle her, she would fall, Let her be, she would trip. He prayed somehow she would step over it, but it did not seem likely.
