Sangre

The brute, Sangre, laid motionless behind a tangle of roots that hung in front of a roof(of what used to be a temple). His black eyes scanned the other ruins before him. He rested his maw on his crossed fore-arms. Occasionally a pup would scamper by, sometimes followed by it's mother.
Many thought of him as mean and, sometimes, frightening. But at times, he wasn't like that at all. He would try to seem nice, but in the end he was being called a "savage brute" or some other name.
A deep sigh escaped from him; his eye-lids slowly drooping down, down. And then, he was asleep.

Cera

Cera bound lightly through the snow, following the scent of a male to the roof of one of the decimated temples. She slowed to a hesitant walk as her sapphire orbs scanned the male. "Hello....?" She did not know who he was. Even worse, she didnt know if he would attack her. Knowing the skill of her self defense, she proceeded forward, stopping right next to him. "I am Cera....If you dont mind my asking, who are you?" Her questions were simple, spoken slowly and clearly as not to cause alarm. She hoped that this one would trust her...maybe even help protect her from the assassin following her. Maybe he knew Soulless.....

Sangre

Sangre awoke suddenly, shivering. Apparently, he had had another nightmare. I've got to find a way to stop these nightmares! Sangre thought almost desperately.
His shivering ceased, and the silence was broken by a fae's voice. He nodded to her kindly when she said 'hello' to him.
I'm Sangre. His deep voice sounded. He hoped that she wouldn't find him a threat, for that was the last thing he wanted: to be seen as an outcast, as a threat.

Niavo

The ebony hybrid, a bit smaller than the average wolf, had caught Sangre's scent. His eyes were reddish, in the manner of his late mother, Black Fyre. And of his dad, Niavo had a very thick, dense ruff of the tervuren shepherd.

Moving stealthily and glancing back often to be sure the little human child was following him, Niavo headed in Sangre's direction. A stopped several feet in front of the other brute and held himself in a friendly, non-threatening posture. "Hey there. I'm Niavo." The hybrid ventured, doing his best to introduce himself on a casual level while he watched the other's response. It got awfully lonely and boring just laying around the Ruins without anyone but a child to talk to; and they only talked back in their own cryptic tongue.

Rousseau

The child tottered after Naivo, tripping and fumbling over her coat, which was a good deal too big for her. But it worked well to insulate the child from the cold. She stopped beside her hybrid friend and gazed with curious eyes at Sangre. One grubby paw reached out and grasped tightly at Niavo's scruff, for comfort mainly. This time, no babbling words came out of her.
