Mercury
Wolf padded into the ruins and looked around catiously before letting a low, soft growl out to his new adopted pups, Arrow and Spitfire. He had brought them here for safety and to get to know them better. Optics scanned the terrain in serch of them. Ears a'flick for any calls from the two.
Arrow & Spitfire
Spitfire was following, jumping from the front to the back. He always wanted to lead the way. Arrow was always beside his fathers feet. Always a little more submissive. He yips bak to his dad's call.
Mercury
He chuckled as Spitfire jumped around. Radars turned when they heard Arrows yelp. He grinned dwon at her before lowering his body to the pup.
Is your brother always like that?
He watched the pup leading then following. He stood up again and adressed them both.
Spitfire, come here. Now i dont mind you both playing here but please be careful. I dont want you getting hurt on our first day of being together as a family.
He nudged Arrow towards Spitfire and turned around to go and lie down in some shade. His huge white hide was turned to a misty grey as he entered the shadows. He lay down and watched his two sons.
Spitfire and Arrow
Arrow nodded at Spitfire.
Always. He answered as Fire came trotting over.
We'll be careful. Spitfire said.
The began to run around, chasing each other in a game of tag. They made sure to watch their step and stay away from dangers.
Mercury
He chuckled to himself as he watched them playing. He closed his eyes and layed his head on his paws. Still, his ears were alert though for any sounds of danger. He dreamed of teaching his sons how to hunt, what was danger and all the other things they would need to know. He grinned to himself.
Arrow & Spitfire
Arrow and Spitfire romped for a while, but then grew hungry. Arrow walked up to Mercury.
"Dad we're hungry..." He whimpered, Spitfire cantering over.
Mercury
He had just rested his head on the ground and was drifting into a light dose when Arrow appraoched him. He listened. Raising his head, he yawned, stood up and streached. Shaking his fur out he spoke to them.
Right, Lets go to the ranch, we can get a sheep or something. I can also begin to teach you your basic training on how to hunt, so that you will be able to do it yourself someday. I might even let you help me, well see if there are any lambs you can bring down.
He smiled at them before heading off to the ranch.
