Void

As soon as the ruins were in view she slowed her stride and looked back at the pup fallowing her. "Here we are. This place should be safe for you." she watched the pup momentarily before the thought hit her. "What am i supposed to call you. You dont have a name?" She padded forward into the dissaray of ruined temples taking a slower pace to allow the pup to get good footing over the rubble. Her eyes scanned the suroundings as she took in the scent from the ruins. A glorious place of old that fell to nature.

Fawn wolf dingo mixed followed Void as she entered the ruins. Tiny little pads making the small pebbles flee as she trotted on them. Her ears stayed up and listened. She growled at a bug that jumped at her. Quickly she raced to Void to be safe. Then looked up. "I don't really have a name" She whimpered. "I'm just called Pup. though it's annoying." She growled lightly.

Void

She laughed softly to herself as the young one ran to her side. She nodded slowly as the pup spoke. "Yes i could see how that would annoy." She sat down slowly pondering. "What to call you." she said softly to herself, nothing came to mind. After all she had never imagined the need to ever name a pup. Her mind raced threw words both simple and complicated. She looked up at the pup and it hit her. Fawn. The color of her coat. "How about, Fawn."

Fawn

The pup tilted her head then looked at herself. Her fluffy tail stayed limp, but soon raised with a slight pride in the name. "Alright! so my name is Fawn." She paused and looked down with a questionable look. "I'ma have to get use to it." She smiled. "Are you going to teach me how to hunt, where do you live? What do we do as a team!" She smiled and puffed out her chest playfully.

Void

She looked down at the pup, suddenly she was begining to doubt her self in rescuing the little one. Her eyes travled over the pup gently sizing her up. She would take a lot of getting used to. Her sunny attitude would ride on Voids short fuse. She sighed to herself taking a long breath. "We are not a team. I saved you and that is all, Yes I will teach you to hunt. There wouldn't be a point in rescuing you if i were to let you starve, As far as where I live, I have no home. Im a wanderer so to speak." she said lazily looking around. She knew the harsh words would most likely hurt the pup, but it would make it less painful when void decided to leave the pup on her own.

Fawn

She tilted her head at the thought of not being a team. Her spirits were beggining to crack. her smile dissapeared slowly and she sat. Her eyes becoming slightly dull. Why? She thought then lowered her head. Whimpering slightly. "When will you teach me to hunt?" She waited silently.

Void

Topaz yellow eyes peared gently onto the small fawn cub. As the pups spirits fell so it seemed did hers. Why did this pup effect her so? Why did she regret hurting the pup? She shook her head ruggedly to clear her mind. "When ever you like little one." she said softly hoping to bring the pups spirits back. It was hard for Void to bring that lost gentleness into her voice again. Even harder, it seemed, to keep the need for companionship out of her heart.

Fawn

Lost orbs fell up to the vix as she tried to cheer her up. It really didn't help. She grumbled and looked to the side, "Lets teach me now, so i wont be in the way later" A soft smirk grew upon her lips. Her tail began to wag only slightly, though she didn't become roudy again in fear of being punished.

Void

Slowly she pulled herself onto her feet, large white paws stepping to the edge of stone she had lay on. Restless eyes scanned the rocky boulders in which they were surrounded. Her ears perked for any noise that might give away a tiny critters hiding place. "Alright then." Her elegent hind legs pushed her agail form from one rock to the next as she headed for an area with less boulders to make it easier on the little one. "Fallow me." she called back over her shoulder, the wind carrying her glee filled words. One thing Void was always good at was hunting, its hard to teach yourself, especially one as irratable as void was as a pup. She had learned, to hunt, and the utmost form of patients. Her temper was still easily egnighted but it took her longer to show now that she was older.

Fawn

Audetes perked sky ward as the banshee lead her from their perch. Large paws pattered against the dirt as she took into a lope after the huntress. Hoping that soon she too would be able to hold a hunters title. Though in her mind, she knew that it would be harder then it sounded. Because all her life she has been fed from a bowl. Nothing more, nothing less. A simple bowl that her and her 'siblings' would eat at, growl at, fight for, and share.

Until the awful night the Master woke the pups with yelling and screaming. The screams of his little girl filled the air around as she cried for her life. One of the pups from an earlier group was attacking the child. It was a Dingo/wolf mix such as Fawn herself. The man shot the dog and soon after his daughter died. He took the pups out in the crate they always slept, and placed them near the store. Through rain and shine, they sat for an owner.

Though none were taken by humans. But how would Fawn know that? She was the first to be taken. And now she was to learn the ways of the wild. Is she ready, hopefully for her own sake. If not she would surely die off.

Void

Her harsh eyes looked back at the young one, a gentile look over coming them though she hid it from fawn.

Long ago her family had been taken from her. Murdered when she was but a cub. Taken by the cruel hands of a mere human. She spent two years living a miserable menacing life of fending for herself. Trusting no one. The only thing she knew as a father was indeed not one, a simple steril male wrought with anger. They had tought each other much. She tought him how to love, He tought her to live life as her own. To know that she was diffrent, to live by HER standerds. Most of all he taught that what makes others uncomfortable also made them weaker.

She waited till Fawn caught up with her, smiling inside herself. She sat down looking around slowly trying to find the words to explain hunting. To her it had always been nothing more than a drive, something that just came naturally. Though she had also starved long before that drive had come.

"Hunting is a simple task. Simple in theory anyway. The key is to outsmart your prey. Make them go were you want. Or at least be faster than them." she smiled down to the young one. Again her eyes scanned for some movement, when she finally spotted it she stood slowly ears percked twords the sound. "First you must flush him from his hidding place." she called as she jumped twords the small shrubbery in which her prey hid. Spooked the small gray rabbit darted from the bush out the other end. Racing twords Fawn. Void junped the small bush easily as she pursued after it. "Try and grab it. I want to see your reflexes." she called to Fawn a few feet away. The rabbit would pass her in mere seconds. This was indeed a test of her reflexes.

Fawn

She watched the gray rabbit come at her. She tensed then relaxed, eyes dialating as she crouched and waited. Then when the rabbit came to her. Like a spring she jumped out an bit at the animal. Though the animal bearly saw her, the rabbit turned and tried to dodge the dingo mix. The rabbits leg getting caught in the hybrids jaws. It screamed and kicked out, tearing skin and muscle and continueing to run with three working legs.

The taste of blood filled Fawns mouth. She shuddered in a second and felt a darkness grow over her. Quickly she dashed after the rabbit, faster than one could see and bit again at the rabbits back. Though The rabbit turned and began running away from fawn. Fawn jumped and turned running after the animal as it jumped over a log, She did as well and continue after her.
