She had now given birth to her four beuatiful pups.She lay in a den under some ruins away from justice.She didnt want him to know till they could walk and run.True he hadnt seen much of her lately and he would get suspicious but she didnt care.Vevisca was her mate now.

Vevisca

He paced around by the den, stopping every now and then to peer into the darkness and pick up the scent of the youngsters. His desires had quickly changed, and now he was thrilled to be a father! He was a bit uncertain though, for his parents had both died when he was younger, but he was bound determined to be a good father.

"Is there anything I can get you?" he questioned, finally sitting back on his haunches and looking into the darkness of the den. Then a thought came to mind and he ventured to ask, "Do you think... I mean, will your brother..." He sighed, "How do you think he'll react?"

She stayed down below allowing the pups to nurse.'some food would be great and well im hoping he wont find out till they can walk at the least,I think he might be alittle more aggressibe towards you and maybe the male pup but he wont kill them seeing as we lost our sisters and brother s and parents"she smiled and justlay.

Vevisca

He nodded, "At least if he won't harm you or them. I think I can handle myself." Vevisca grinned lightly then turned away, "I'll be back soon." The wolf loped off in search of food.

She nodded and then fell asleep.

Vevisca

After a while, Vevisca returned. He was dragging the carcass of a doe with him, which was covered with dirt and smelled as if it were a bit old. And indeed it was, for he had stolen it from another's cache. But it was still plenty good to eat with an abundance of meat to feed them both, and then some.

He brought it to the mouth of the den and gave a light bark, "May! I've found some food." He announced, tearing at the old flesh to remove a large hunk of meat. He then shoved it into the den and laid down. He knew the scent of the carcass could bring unwanted attention, so Vevisca remained on high alert for any dangers.

She took The meat and began to eat it."thank you"She said peacefully

pups were asleep

justice:he smelt the carcass and having seen this male come this way maybe it was may.He smelt the meat but no pups."where's may"he growled at the male his hair standing up.

Vevisca

"No prob', May." He replied, relishing in the peacefulness of this new life. As he turned to the rest of the deer and began to feed, he spotted Justice approaching. Quickly the wolf stood, raising his head and tail high and bristling his hackles, "She's resting right now. She doesn't need to be bothered." Vevisca replied, staring straight into the brother's eyes, warning him not to attack or cause any trouble.

Justice

"oh and why is she resting? She didnt do no hunting i assure you that"he snarled raising his dial and tail.He growled and lowered into attack mode.He would feed before this male he didnt care what he thought.

Vevisca

He snarled loudly now, showing agression that he rarely did. Now his own head was lowered defensively, "Back off, Justice! I'll tell you why your sister is resting; she had pups now! Our pups!" His teeth flashed gleamingly against wrinkled lips. And his single eye shown with brilliant defiance, boring into the other brute. "Now, back off, I'm warning you..."

Justice

This got him mad.He snarled and was about to attack when may came out and stood between the two."stop it justice i wanted it okay i choose him as my mate why can't you be happy for me for once? Instead of being so protective? It not like it was a wolf who killed our family.It was those two leggeds."She growled"go ahead and have some meat justice you may eat it before he does if that will make you happy:She growled.

Vevisca

He glared at Justice as May spoke, but his snarling subsided as so not to interupt her. He was surprised by her remark for Justice to eat fisrt, but he said nothing about it. Instead, Vevisca sat back on his haunches, protectively in front of the den and continued to stare at the brother. He nuzzled May once and glanced into the darkness of the den once again, hardly able to contain his excitement about the pups. He couldn't wait until they started walking!

"just because i have chosen my mate doesnt mean i dont love you justice your my brothre and forever will be one of my main priorities now please just get along .When we start our pack you will be beta dont worry"she said and nuzzled her brother giving him a playful nip of reasurrence and then nuzzling vevisca."dont cause trouble just let him eat first it usually calms him down"she smiled and went b ack to tend to the pups

Justice:he growled and then nodded to may and licked her muzzle and then started fiesting down.

Vevisca

He nodded to her, "Alright." Vevisca now layed down, easing up on his defensive posture and letting his fur settle. Still, he kept his eye on Justice as the wolf began to feed. Vevisca knew that if Justice were to be beta, they'd have to get along to a point or put up with constent threat of fight and bickering. Putting grudges aside, he spoke up to the wolf, "So... you like it here in the Valley? I've was born here."

Justice

He decided to push this little grudge away seeing as his sister was now a mother and had chosen this male as her mate.She was after all the most dominant of the two."yah i guess"he said quietly.

Vevisca

Vevisca shifted a bit, raising his head now and taking a bite of meat, though giving Justice his space. "I'm sorry about your family." He pointed out after a moment, thinking back to when he was told about that bit of history. But, he knew that maybe it was a common ground for them both. "My parents were killed by humans when I was younger. Cedar and Wespero. But I was an only pup."

Namir

The darkly-toned cougar had picked up on the scent of the carcass and come to investigate. He had been raised by the wolves that use to live in the Silver Glades, so he was not at all nervous around the canines. And his adoptive mother, Cortinarri, had bred an evil sort of mind in the cub as he grew.

He padded lightly over the ground, approaching almost silently while staying behind the cover of stones and vegetation. Namir slowed down more and krept over a pillar, spying on the two wolves feeding on the long-dead deer. Now he could detect the scent of pups and an idea came to mind. What a better present could their be fore his wolf mother, than a little pup to raise? Grinning wickedly, Namir suddenly sprung with all his might at Justice, trying to land his 210 pound body on the wolf while dangerous claws struck for the canine's sides. Cruel fangs set for the wolf's back..

Justice

He had scent the cougar and had moved just in time.But a claw had grazed his side.He let out a loud howl as if calling others.He would protected may with his life.He snarled and lowered his body.He didnt attack.He growled showing his fangs."take the carcass but leave us alone"he snarled at the cougar.

May:she heard the cougar and picking one pup up she moved further back.Then picked another up and another and then the last one.Down here there was only room for her to fit a cougar wouldnt be able to get into the den at all.

Namir

He grinned devilishly, hunching his tawny head down and lashing his tail to the side. "Maybe it's not deer that I'm looking for. I smell pups.. young ones." Namir went on, edging closer to Justice while flashing Vevisca a close look. Suddenly he paused, studying the wolf closer... was he... "Vevisca...?" Namir whispered, blinking in surprise. He had not recognized his friend, missing an eye and being all grown up!

Becoming very uneasy, Namir glared at the den, then to the wolves.

Justice

"yes there are and they were just born and vevisca is the father now leave"He snarled going down into a low stance.

Vevisca

He had initially been ready to spring at the cougar and drive him from the den, but then a memory sparked. "Namir!" He barked, half in alarm and half in disbelief. But his eye, instead of a friendly gaze, was tense and dangerous looking. His body was ridged and low, ready for attack, "Yes, they are my pups. Have some meat... but, please... go..."

Manov

Brute had almost recently been reunited with his mate, but something had gone wrong, he never got to see her. As he walked long the tree stumps, he paused as a few familier scents came to him. Auds perked up as he came closer, hearing the words being exchanged between them. He had once been the alpha of Silver Glades and Vevisca along with Nimar had been there. Orbs looked down at they just as Nimar was told to leave, Manov felt a need to intervein. Jumping down he looked from Nimar to Vevisca, then to the pups and let out a bark for them.

Justice,Mayling and four pups

He growled at the cougar and kept a low stance.He watched as a new wolf came into view.His fur rised higher now.

May:This was getting nerve raking and she came out growlin.g as a mother would do she s tood in front of the den baring her fangs at the cougar and the new wolf.

the four pups slept.

Namir

He looked in surprise at Manov, recognizing him in a flash. "Manov!" The cougar took a reluctant step back, "Vevisca... I didn't realize... I didn't know it was you." He tried to explain, taking another step back. Then he turned to Manov, speaking low, "I know where Cortinarri is, if you wish to see her."

He had been taking care of her when she had trouble getting food. And always, Namir was on the lookout for Manov, for that's who Cortinarri longed to see the most.

Manov

Manov nodded to Nimar. "Of course I want to see her." He looked over at the unknown vix and walked over to her. "Niether me nor him mean any harm to your family. Vevisca you are still apart of Ghost's pack if you wish to bring your family there for protection." He said assuring them. Turning to Nimar. "Take me to her." With one glance as the pups and other wolvens, he nodded to Nimar waiting for him to lead the way.

Namir

Namir nodded vaugly to Vevisca, deeply embarrassed about the whole situation. "Follow me." The cougar said on a more cheery note, looking to Manov. Then he padded off, moving like a shadow through the jumbled stones. Heading for the Eskers.

Mayling

She still growled at the male wolf and snapped at him and then when they turned tail she went back into the den.

justic:He shook his dial and just laid down.

Manov

Just as he was about to go after Nimar he heard Mayling, usualy he would have just left her alone but he had already explained no harm was to come of them. Fangs bared he turned and snapped back at her, warning her not to agravate him. Then as if nothing had happened he turned and loped out after NImar.

She growled and stayed down in the den now with her pups.

Vevisca

His tail gave a faint wave as he spotted Manov and he nodded a greeting to his old alpha. "Thank you for the offer." Vevisca replied quietly, then looked away as Manov left. He glanced to Justice, then padded towards the den. "We should really find a permanent home for them."

She gazed up at him and nodded she grabed two of the smallest puppies and headed out carring them.She had already found a perfect place to have a home.Her tail was held high.

Justice:taking her sign he went down the den and picked up one of the pups.He then followed after may quickly his tail lower then hers.

Vevisca

He picked up the last pup and headed after his mate, holding his tail at the same level as her's. Yet he considered her a bit more dominant none-the-less.
