Avalon & Pack

The Hidden Shadows Pack trotted in silently, Avalon and Xena in the lead. A short way off behind Xena, bounded their three pups, Dusty, Radar, and Hydra. Dusty bounced along trying to keep up with his parents and play with his brother and sister also. He started pawing the air and letting out small barks of happiness and joy as the pack moved on.

Iditaro stood wobbly, trying to act foolish around the pups for some reason. The beta was always ready for a stupid remark or commment. Just what would most likely come out of Dusty's maw. His tail, however, swayed idly as he continued wobbling along, his mate Verona right next to him, watching him curiously.

Voltaire, Acacia, and Celestria walked idly behind. Voltaire, being the scout, climbed up onto a rocky ruin building and looked around. Acacia seemed to like him, but always kept it a secret. Up to this time it was still a secret.
She wondered how Nakita and Polo were doing in another pack's terra. She had to keep it out of her mind though. For amusement, she looked to her little sister's wobbly pup body. She streaked off to the side, then to the other, tripping over the slightest things on the ground. Voltaire seemed to snicker at her everytime he looked her way. Celestria just refused to play with the newborns. She was something different after all, her and her sister, were both wolf and husky.

Avalon stopped and waited, for what? He didn't know. He just sat, and along with him his pack sat too. They waited for something none of them knew, perhaps a new friend of the pack, who knows? The only thing Avalon had on his mind was Nakita and Polo. He knew he shouldn't have left them at the Tall Grass Prairie to go with a stranger, but he had sent Apache and Bandito to protect them if any harm was to be done. He impatiently waited. He told them this would be the place they would meet after they fetched some food.

Hidden Shadows Pack

Avalon turned his head at the sudden sight of Nakita and Polo, behind them a big buffalo hide! He licked his chops as they seemed to water. As he neared he noticed that Apache and Bandito lifted the end of the hide up so that carrying it back would be easier.
The whole pack gathered around and had a big feast, taking their share, and finishing it off, leaving only bones and some scrap meat behind in return. Then Avalon gathered up all the scattered wolves and they moved out, Xena again at his side with their three pups bounding swiftly behind. As they left, Nakita told the pack everything.
