Momo & Quinn

Momo may have issues but her nose never had let her down. She and quinn moved away from the big group and laid down to rest.

Cedarwood

Chocolatey wings carried the giant raptor down from his stone roost a few yards away, to land with a clack of talons before Quinn and her mother. His head bobbed up and down, tilted to the side, then straightened up. He took a few hopping steps closer to the young Haunter and cleared his throat, "Quinn?" And then, more quietly, "Quinn, can I have your ear for a second?"

Quinn

She looked up tilted her head "um sure?" She said moving from her mother's side

Cedarwood

A hopeful smile lit in the eagle's dark eyes, "Oh good, thank you!" He dipped his sleek head down and waddled two steps closer, speaking quietly once more, "I have been trying to impress Tracey for the past two years, but I can't seem to find the right gift for her." He darted a conspiratorial look about, but didn't see the Harpy eagle. Still, his voice grew quieter, "I thought something shiny would impress her, but I could never find anything pretty enough to give her. Do you have any suggestions? What would make a good gift for Tracey?"

Quinn

She didn't know what this could be about but what could it hurt? She froze a bit at his question tilting her head. What could h e get a harpy eagle to impress them. um....maybe catch her a rat? Why was this a question for her? Not like she had a suitor or anything.

Cedarwood

"A rat?" Cedarwood sounded perplexed at first, and a little skeptical of Quinn's suggestion. Yet, as he spent time thinking about it, the eagle's enthusiasm climbed. He was soon nodding to his own internal thoughts before his bright eyes lit on the young Quinn once more, "...yes, that's a grand idea! A personal servant that can help preen her feathers, find her hard-to-get food, and... well, I don't know, but I'm sure a rat can preform many useful tasks for her!" Cedar simply bubbled with excitement, "Where would be a good place to find such a rat?"

Quinn

She tilts her head and then holds back a laugh.I actually meant for a mealSHe said softly.Im not exactly the one to come on dating advice I don't even have a mateShe said.

Cedarwood

Cedarwood blinked and cocked his head, "For food? That does make more sense." Again, he nodded to himself, then puffed his feathers and zoned back in on Quinn, "I still like the idea of a servant for her though, so maybe food and a helpful rat? Or a squirrel?"

Almost belatedly, his mind caught up with her latter comment, his eyes squinted with a smile, "Maybe I will help you too, then? I can find you a mate! There aren't many eligible bachelors here, but I see many canines out and about in the Valley during my hunts and scouting routes. Give me a description of what you like, and I will play matchmaker for you."
