*Turkey*
A flock of ten captive turkey wonder around the ruins after escaping from a pen. They are different looking from the wild turkey, and some have lost a lot of feathers.
Lilac
Choosing this place, since it was safe from humans, Lilac quickly picks up the scent of the turkey. But she could already tell there was something odd about them; they bore the scent of human-related things. Lilac circled wide around the creatures, keeping downwind and behind a large, fallen pillar, and waiting for the pups.
Blizzard, Raven, & Autumn
The circle around with Lilac. Blizzard watches the birds intently until she can't stand it anymore, "Hunt!" she yips and charges toward the birds, ready to tackle and bite the first one she gets near. Autumn also charges at them, but circles around so he might come up in front of them. Raven circles in behind.
*Turkey* The give startled squawks and take off running. They are slower than the pups, and they flap their wings mightily, but can't fly. Feathers fly everywhere, and Blizzard is able to rush onto a medium sized hen turkey, knocking her of her feet. The rest of the turkey turn their halt when they see Autumn come up in front of them, so they whirl around and dash off the other way. That's where they run strait into Raven! One turkey trips over him, and goes sprawling over the ground. The others are easily within range...
Blizzard, Autumn, & Raven
Blizzard instantly snaps for the turkey's wings so it won't get away...
Autumn makes a sharp turn and wheels around back on the turkey, then makes a flying leap towards the nearest one so he can snap his little jaws around the bird's neck...
Raven yelps in alarm when he finds the horde of turkey coming toward him. But his instincts take over, and he pounces on the large bird sprawled before him, ready to sink his sharp little teeth into its back...
*Turkey*
The turkey Blizzard has a hold of beats her other wing upon the pup, and pecks fiercely at her nose and maw, but otherwise cannot get away...
The bird Autumn is after is easily overtaken and brought to the ground as he pounces upon it and bites for the neck. Though Autumn is a pup with jaws yet to grow, the neck of the captive turkey is weak and is fatally damaged by the teeth and pressure from the little jaws.
And Raven... his leap is enough to knock the wind from his prey, and keep it on the ground. His sharp puppy teeth pierce through the bird's feathers and sink into its back. Either by luck or his deep instinct, Raven Shadow's teeth come down at the back bone and are able to sever it, leaving the turkey paralyzed. It suddenly dies after being bitten, because of shock.
The rest of the turkeys continue their panicky flee from the young wolves.
Blizzard, Autumn, & Raven Shadow
Blizzard growls through tightly clenched teeth, only whimpering slightly when the sharp beak comes in painful contact to her nose. She didn't want to let go in case the turkey got away, but she couldn't just hold it and get her nose pecked off, as she thought it would. With a mighty leap, Blizzard hurls her body toward the turkey to land on it before it can back off. She still had a hold of it's wing though.
Autumn and Raven hesitate beside their fallen prey before rushing over to pounce upon the turkey as well...
*Turkey*
The turkey can't back up as fast as you lunge forward, so you are able to land on it, and snap it's wing. Autumn and Raven also land on the turkey. The combined weight causes the turkey's heart to stop, thus killing it.
Lilac
She walks up beside the pups, smiling at them. "Very nice job. It was wise of you to circle around back of the flock, Raven. And of you to circle around front, Autumn. And Blizzard, you put up a valiant battle and all worked as a team! I believe you all will do well in hunting. Though I would suggest a bit more planning before rushing out at the prey... Now you all must drag your prey back to the territory for the rest of the pack."
Blizzard, Autumn, & Raven
They each take their turkeys by a wing, and begin to drag them back to their pack lands. They were pups, but nearly yearlings and big enough to drag the large fowls the distance.
